Get a first look at SharePoint 2016 for the business whether you are already planning to upgrade, or just curious
Build the business case of a more secure, auditable, and flexible SharePoint 2016 upgrade or deployment
Start planning for the next big version of SharePoint and be ready for release

Automate and merge the same documents you have used for years to close more deals, increase revenue and improve productivity. From within Salesforce, users click a button to create dynamic document packages (DDPs) using data from multiple objects, including custom objects and product line items. Or, automatically create DDPs from workflows.
[Mentor Graphics] A Perforce-based Automatic Document Generation SystemPerforce
Mentor Graphics' DVT Technical Publications uses an automatic documentation generation system to create the InfoHub documentation libraries for its product distribution software. The backbone of this system is a Perforce installation, which provides the document control and management portion of the system. Get an overview of the system and see a typical author workflow.

SiriusCon2016 - Document Generation with M2DocObeo
Not everyone uses modeling tools and the awesome work one can do with these tools must be conveyed to the outside world, for instance, in the form of documents.
The M2Doc technology enables the generation of Office Open XML documents from Ecore models and Sirius representations.
The overall approach M2Doc implements consists in creating templates in the OOX format where static text authoring benefit from the WYSIWYG capabilities of the usual tools (e.g. Microsoft Word, Libre Office, Open Office). Dynamic parts are inserted using a dedicated vocabulary of OOX fields code. Fields are mainly used to insert page numbers, references, etc. M2Doc makes use them to describe documentation generation directives. This allows a total separation between the document and the M2Doc directives.
The template language makes an extensive use of the Acceleo Query Language which provides a full fledged, extensible model query language and engine.
In this talk, I will present the M2Doc technology and talk about the way it is integrated with Sirius.

The primary focus, however, is on the management/ongoing educational aspects of a successful deployment.

SharePoint Engage Phoenix 2017
Our SharePoint environment is a lot like many others – a SharePoint 2007 implementation that was used more as a file dump than a collaboration space. With minimal user adoption, we were never quite ready to implement 2010, with a pilot SharePoint 2010 implementation stalled out of the gate.
In the meantime, some content was put on Box and other services to address external collaboration needs. Business users needed more relevant search results, content databases had grown uncomfortably large, and access controls had become spaghetti. Fortunately, site sprawl wasn’t too bad… except that the reason for that was the low adoption.
SharePoint 2013 arrived to a perfect storm – business and technology needs to be addressed, content that needs to be brought back in-house, and user adoption that needs to be improved. Time to upgrade!
See how we approached the upgrade, the issues than needed to be addressed, and the questions that needed to be answered.

Microsoft 365 Tenant Administration: Understanding Microsoft 365 Administrati...Joel Oleson
Microsoft 365 M365 Management Made Easy
Do you struggle with administering your Microsoft 365 tenant? Have you ever wished there was an easy way to segment your tenant so you could delegate permissions more granularly to group or site admins?
Microsoft has introduced Administrative Units and they are a great start to creating boundaries within your tenant for user and group administration but are they enough? What about the other Microsoft365 services not covered by Administrative Units?
Microsoft has also announced they’ll be introducing custom roles for Microsoft 365. While currently very limited, they do promise that you’ll be able to get more granular with the permissions you want to assign.
CoreView helps you to easily manage Microsoft 365 by combining multiple Microsoft Admin Centers into a single view so you no longer need to log into multiple admin centers to complete everyday tasks.
With Virtual Tenants (like OUs for Azure AD), you can also segment your tenant by geography, department, or any other AD attribute to limit the admin scope. Virtual Tenants can be applied to any Microsoft 365 object, so they’re not just limited to users and groups.
CoreView also has very granular permissions that allow you to adhere to the least privilege access policy recommended by Microsoft. CoreView permission sets can get as granular as a single attribute without giving the delegated administrator permission to do anything else.
You’ll also see how you can easily delegate the running of PowerShell scripts so once the script is created, anyone with proper CoreView permissions can execute it.
Register now to hear MVP Joel Oleson’s take on Admin Units, and how CoreView can help take them to the next level.

Microsoft Groups Demystified: 5 Keys to Successful Group Management Joel Oleson
How are you handling Microsoft groups as you adopt more and more of the cloud? What should you do with your DLs? For hybrid environments, legacy groups can be a real struggle, and most organizations leave security groups in place while creating new ones in the cloud. Double the groups can mean double the frustration.
Join us for this webinar, where we’ll explore the history of security groups and distribution lists and dive deep into how best to approach users and strategies for on-premises and cloud group coexistence and synchronization. We’ll also explore the new Teams Information Boundaries and Unified Labeling and classifications to paint a clearer picture of security and classification in Microsoft 365.
This session will take comprehensive look at Microsoft “Groups end to end” and work to cover some common groups questions:
What about lifecycle and cleanup?
Policy & Naming standards?
Is write-back an option?
How do I sync my groups?
What can I do for coexistence and hybrid?
I want to copy my on-prem groups can I do that?
Can I setup my groups as dynamic or rule-based in the cloud (and potential additional costs)?

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
