to be square, be sure to not use the edge as it will crop slightly. Don’t round the image or Safe region is 96x96 but app icon is
192x192
– The color icon submitted in your app package must be square. Don’t round the corners of your icon.
+ Be sure to pin the app to the left rail otherwise people won’t find it, use a policy to auto pin for your users including
pinning it to the top
+ For Mega Nav Use Labels to group sets of links for Site & Hub Navigation
+ For Improved Targeting for News Consider Dynamic based Microsoft 365 Groups for Plan your Hubs around

– Search Results in Classic your search results will open in SharePoint.
– No App bar, No My Sites, No My News with classic home page
– Stuck in classic? Use a Modern Page and point packaging at that URL for your Intranet to get the App Bar and Navigation
