Traffic Monitoring System : Time and Security Problems
and their Solution

Abstract
As the population of the world is increasing day by day so the number of vehicles are also going
to increase due to which many issues are taking place .The major issue is to control and manage
the activities of the vehicles on the roads and making people secure against any kind of unusual
activity liketerrorist attack on the roads .The other major aspects of the trafficmonitoring system
is to provide the famous and notorious places of any country of the world.People gets indulge in
difficulty many times and then they don’t know what to do and where to go .so to overcome this
situation there is need to improve the Functionality of the Traffic Monitoring System.
IndexTerms : inconvenience on roads,Securityissueson roads,Possiblesaferoutes
1. Introduction
The Traffic monitoring system is designed to control the present traffic situation in the
world.This will help the users to locate the present location and the destination location
where they want to go.The System also includes the feature of weather updates.The system
take the input from the user and provide the required service by getting the information from
the environment.The system also provides the information as per time intervals, defined the
possible route for the desired destination .The improvements in this System includes to find
that place where terrorist activity is taking place by automatically checking that location where
user wants to go .Also This System can give information about the hazard or dangerous places
of any country in the world.The system also gives the weather updates of the destination place
and also includes the features of giving information about nearby coffee shops, restaurents,
hospitals etc.

2. Different Types Of Issues In TMS :
a. Inconvenienceon Roads:
The systemdoes not give the information about any inconvenience that is taking place on the
user’s destination location .If a user wants to go to the bank, the system gives him information
about the location but unfortunately an accident between two cars occurs on the destination
location due to which road is block and systemdoes not tells him about the road blockness and
gives no other suitable safe place . This makes the system irreliable.
b. TerorristActivity on Roads:
The System is not much reliable that it gives the information about the any kind of terrorist
activity on the roads.If a user wants to go to the hospital but unfortunately terrorist attacks on
a house with heavy weapons near to the hospital but the user don’t know about this inspite of
location route and weather updates and Also gives no any other safe path to go to the
hospital.If there is no safe way then it gives no information about the nearby Police
Satation.This makes The can make the user’s life in difficulty.
c. Hazard Places :
The System does not give the information about the hazard places on the destination location
or on the way.if a user wants to go to somewhere the system gives him information about the
location ,weather updates, total time with distance in KM.but if it doesn’t give the information
about the dangerous places like area of grug dealers or thiefs.Ther is a lack in System .

3. IMPROVEMENTS in the System:
a. Overcomethe inconvenience on the Roads:
The systemcan be improved to overcome the inconvenience on the roads by installing the
efficient scanners and sensors that scane and sense the present situation on the road either it is
block or not .The systemcan give the information through particular application that is used for
this system.The scanners take the snaps of the location and give information to the user
through satellite communication.Such the systemwill work more efficiently and smoothly .This
makes the user more reliability.
b. Information aboutterroristactivities:
The systemcan be improved by making it enough efficient that it gives the information about
the any terrorist activity that is taking place on the destination way .This could be possible by
installing the most efficient metal detectors ,sound detectors and smoke sensors with the
system because terrorist mostly use the weapons to attack someone.These detectors give
information after a particular time through the application via internet.Such the systemwill
work more efficiently .
c. Information aboutHazard Places :
The can be work more efficiently if it keeps the information about all the dangerous places that
are on the destination way .it could be only possible that every information about the the every
place either it is dangerous or not should be manually included in the system .The system
automatically check the hazard place if it will be on the way .The user can enjoy thus feature
with all other feature through a particular application via internet.
d. PossibleSafe Routes:
If there is any kind of inconvenience ,terrorist attack or any other unwanted situation takes
place on the destination way due to which road go block and the user cannot reach the
destination through that way on time the systemshould much reliable that it gives the possible
and short routes to the user to reach the destination at the time.This could be only possible by
putting all the possible ways in the systemso that when needed the will self optimize the
situation and gives the possible, safe and short ways to rwach the destination at the time.

Traffic Monitoring System : Time and Security Problems and their Solution by Ahmad Ali , Shfait Hussain, Aamir Mushtaq, Khizar Shahzad Department of Information Technology University of Gujrat Pakistan ___________________________________________________ Abstract As the population of the world is increasing day by day so the number of vehicles are also going to increase due to which many issues are taking place .The major issue is to control and manage the activities of the vehicles on the roads and making people secure against any kind of unusual activity liketerrorist attack on the roads .The other major aspects of the trafficmonitoring system is to provide the famous and notorious places of any country of the world.People gets indulge in difficulty many times and then they don’t know what to do and where to go .so to overcome this situation there is need to improve the Functionality of the Traffic Monitoring System. IndexTerms : inconvenience on roads,Securityissueson roads,Possiblesaferoutes 1. Introduction The Traffic monitoring system is designed to control the present traffic situation in the world.This will help the users to locate the present location and the destination location where they want to go.The System also includes the feature of weather updates.The system take the input from the user and provide the required service by getting the information from the environment.The system also provides the information as per time intervals, defined the possible route for the desired destination .The improvements in this System includes to find that place where terrorist activity is taking place by automatically checking that location where user wants to go .Also This System can give information about the hazard or dangerous places of any country in the world.The system also gives the weather updates of the destination place and also includes the features of giving information about nearby coffee shops, restaurents, hospitals etc. ____________________________________________________ 2. Different Types Of Issues In TMS : a. Inconvenienceon Roads:

The systemdoes not give the information about any inconvenience that is taking place on the user’s destination location .If a user wants to go to the bank, the system gives him information about the location but unfortunately an accident between two cars occurs on the destination location due to which road is block and systemdoes not tells him about the road blockness and gives no other suitable safe place . This makes the system irreliable. b. TerorristActivity on Roads: The System is not much reliable that it gives the information about the any kind of terrorist activity on the roads.If a user wants to go to the hospital but unfortunately terrorist attacks on a house with heavy weapons near to the hospital but the user don’t know about this inspite of location route and weather updates and Also gives no any other safe path to go to the hospital.If there is no safe way then it gives no information about the nearby Police Satation.This makes The can make the user’s life in difficulty. c. Hazard Places : The System does not give the information about the hazard places on the destination location or on the way.if a user wants to go to somewhere the system gives him information about the location ,weather updates, total time with distance in KM.but if it doesn’t give the information about the dangerous places like area of grug dealers or thiefs.Ther is a lack in System . ____________________________________________________ 3. IMPROVEMENTS in the System: a. Overcomethe inconvenience on the Roads: The systemcan be improved to overcome the inconvenience on the roads by installing the efficient scanners and sensors that scane and sense the present situation on the road either it is block or not .The systemcan give the information through particular application that is used for this system.The scanners take the snaps of the location and give information to the user through satellite communication.Such the systemwill work more efficiently and smoothly .This makes the user more reliability. b. Information aboutterroristactivities: The systemcan be improved by making it enough efficient that it gives the information about the any terrorist activity that is taking place on the destination way .This could be possible by installing the most efficient metal detectors ,sound detectors and smoke sensors with the system because terrorist mostly use the weapons to attack someone.These detectors give information after a particular time through the application via internet.Such the systemwill work more efficiently . c. Information aboutHazard Places :

The can be work more efficiently if it keeps the information about all the dangerous places that are on the destination way .it could be only possible that every information about the the every place either it is dangerous or not should be manually included in the system .The system automatically check the hazard place if it will be on the way .The user can enjoy thus feature with all other feature through a particular application via internet. d. PossibleSafe Routes: If there is any kind of inconvenience ,terrorist attack or any other unwanted situation takes place on the destination way due to which road go block and the user cannot reach the destination through that way on time the systemshould much reliable that it gives the possible and short routes to the user to reach the destination at the time.This could be only possible by putting all the possible ways in the systemso that when needed the will self optimize the situation and gives the possible, safe and short ways to rwach the destination at the time. ___________________________________________________ 4.
