A trade mark (popularly known as brand name) in layman’s language is a visual symbol which may be a word, signature, name, device, label, numerals or combination of colors used by one undertaking on goods or services or other articles of commerce to distinguish it from other similar goods or services originating from a different undertaking.
The above presentation is a step to simplify the concept of Trademark in India. It also focuses on the process of registration under the Trademarks Act 1999.
The presentation simplifies the steps involved and makes it easier to understand the same.

Rhabdoviridae is a family of negative-strand RNA viruses in the order Mononegavirales. Vertebrates, invertebrates, and plants serve as natural hosts. Diseases associated with member viruses include rabies encephalitis caused by the rabies virus, and flu-like symptoms in humans caused by vesiculoviruses.
The heap technique for biological soil treatment is an ex situ technology, that is, the contaminated soil is excavated and separated from the uncontaminated material.
Methanogenesis or biomethanation is the formation of methane by microbes known as methanogens. Organisms capable of producing methane have been identified only from the domain Archaea, a group phylogenetically distinct from both eukaryotes and bacteria, although many live in close association with anaerobic bacteria.
Biogas is an environmentally-friendly, renewable energy source. It's produced when organic matter, such as food or animal waste, is broken down by microorganisms in the absence of oxygen, in a process called anaerobic digestion.
Biomedical waste or hospital waste is any kind of waste containing infectious (or potentially infectious) materials. ... Waste sharps include potentially contaminated used (and unused discarded) needles, scalpels, lancets and other devices capable of penetrating skin.

A RIA is a very sensitive in vitro assay technique used to measure concentrations of substances, usually measuring antigen concentrations (for example, hormone levels in blood) by use of antibodies.
Eukaryotic transcription is the elaborate process that eukaryotic cells use to copy genetic information stored in DNA into units of transportable complementary RNA replica.
Post-transcriptional modification or co-transcriptional modification is a set of biological processes common to most eukaryotic cells by which an RNA primary transcript is chemically altered following transcription from a gene to produce a mature, functional RNA molecule
Transcription is the process by which the information in a strand of DNA is copied into a new molecule of messenger RNA (mRNA).Transcription is carried out by an enzyme called RNA polymerase and a number of accessory proteins called transcription factors.
Prokaryotes are organisms that consist of a single prokaryotic cell. Eukaryotic cells are found in plants, animals, fungi, and protists. They range from 10–100 μm in diameter, and their DNA is contained within a membrane-bound nucleus.Prokaryotes do not have membrane-enclosed nuclei. Therefore, the processes of transcription, translation, and mRNA degradation can all occur simultaneously.
Viruses are microscopic organisms that exist almost everywhere on earth. They can infect animals, plants, fungi, and even bacteria.Viruses vary in complexity. They consist of genetic material, RNA or DNA, surrounded by a coat of protein, lipid (fat), or glycoprotein. Viruses cannot replicate without a host, so they are classified as parasitic. They are considered the most abundant biological entity on the planet.
Here we discuss the general properties of viruses in detail.
There are three pathways of complement activation: the classical pathway, which is triggered directly by pathogen or indirectly by antibody binding to the pathogen surface; the MB-lectin pathway; and the alternative pathway, which also provides an amplification loop for the other two pathways
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt). This bacterium is also a key source of genes for transgenic expression to provide pest resistance in plants and microorganisms as pest control agents in so-called genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. TRADEMARK REGISTRATION IN INDIA
• Step 1: Trademark Search
• Many entrepreneurs do not comprehend the importance of a TM
search. Having a unique brand name in mind is not good enough
reason to avoid a TM search.
• TM search helps you to know if there are similar trademarks available
and it gives you a fair picture of where your trademark stands,
sometimes, it also gives you a forewarning of the possibility of
trademark litigation.
3. • Step 2: Filing Trademark Application
• If we are sure that your chosen brand name or logo is not listed in
the Trademark Registry India, you can opt for registering the same.
The first step is to file a trademark application at the Trademark
Registry India.
• Nowadays, filing is mostly done online. Once the application is filed,
an official receipt is immediately issued for future reference
4. • Step 3: Examination
• After a trademark application is filed, it is examined by the examiner
for any discrepancies. The examination might take around 12-18
months. The examiner might accept the trademark absolutely,
conditionally or object.
• If accepted unconditionally, the trademark gets published in the
Trademark Journal. If not accepted unconditionally, the conditions to
be fulfilled or the objections would be mentioned in the examination
report and a month's time would be given to fulfill the conditions or
response to the objections.
• Once such response is accepted, the trademark is published in the
Trademark Journal. If the response is not accepted, one can request a
hearing. If in the hearing, the examiner feels that the trademark should
be allowed registration, it proceeds for publication in the Trademark
Journal.
5. • Step 4: Publication
• The step of publication is incorporated in the trademark registration
process so that anyone who objects to the registering of the trademark
has the opportunity to oppose the same. If, after 3-4 months from
publication there is no opposition, the trademark proceeds for
registration. In case there is opposition; there is a fair hearing and
decision are given by the Registrar.
6. • Step 5: Registration Certificate
• Once the application proceeds for trademark registration, following
publication in Trademark Journal, a registration certificate under the
seal of the Trademark Office is issued.
• Step 6: Renewal
• The trademark can be renewed perpetually after every 10 years.
Hence, your logo or brand name registration can be protected
perpetually.
