2. Hospital Information System is the integration of clinical, administrative
and financial systems.
Clinical systems consisting of Hospital Information System (HIS) and Picture
Archiving Communication System (PACS) HIS comprise various applications
(Person Management, Scheduling, Order Management, Clinical
Documentation, PIS, LIS, RIS etc).
The Administration & Finance System is integrated with HIS, so every test
procedure performed on the patient automatically triggers generation bills.

3. With PACS, the system is also connected with various x-ray machines.
It becomes a challenge that this integration is so extensive that not only
between software applications but also between applications or
equipment, especially in the treatment of radiology, intensive and
operating space where the system is directly connected to equipment that
produces data or images generated by the equipment to be used online
into the system.
Hence, patient reports, clinical guidelines and protocols will soon be
available and assessable in one integrated work area at any place and at
any time in the hospital and in accordance with the authorities authorized
to access information.

Hospital Information System / Total Hospital Information System
(T.H.I.S.)
The first paperless and filmless hospital in Malaysia.
It started operating on the 2nd August 1999
The hospital was inaugurated on the 5th September 2001 by YABhg. Tun
