Make a detail picture/pictures (like a comic strip) of the scene. Then, describe the scene in detail, including the atmospheric conditions, science behind the scene, the tools/instruments used, etc. The Fujita Scale: Make a large, descriptive diagram of the Fujiuta scale. Include a description of each level, what the scale tells us, and a picture of each level of the scale. Twister Dictionary: Make a dictionary of vocabulary associated with tornados. You must have at least 25 words from the movie and video clips, number them, skip a line between each word, underline each word, and give the definition. The more words, the better your grade. It can be anything related to tornados! How A Tornado Forms Diagram: Make an illustrated, step by step diagram about how a tornado forms. Must include drawings and detailed descriptions. Tornado Timeline: Using your notes from the video clip, make a time line with symbols, pictures and descriptions about tornados, the instruments used to study tornadoes, major storms, etc. Fact vs. Fiction: Write an essay in which you describe some of the common misrepresentations of tornadoes in the media.
