INTRODUCTION
The computer application practical paper will typically consist of 3 questions, out of which
you'll have to do any one. You will be given 3 hours in all which will be divided into:
a) A Planning session, and
b) A Writing session.
Here, in this presentation, we have come up with a few valuable tips and tricks that may
come in helpful for your preparation purposes.
1. HOW YOU SHOULD PREPARE
Switch on your computer and start typing in the programs
you know. Try and run every program you know and see
what are the common errors which you encounter. Try and
be perfect regardless of those errors.
2. PROGRAM TYPES
Know the program types to practice. Some examples
may include the likes of Magic Matrix, Spiral Matrix,
Matrix Multiplication, Mirror Image
Finding maximum and minimum element, Sorting etc.
3. WHAT TO WRITE
Along with the program in your answer sheet you should also include:
a) The algorithm of the program
b) Data Description table
c) Comments on the program
4. CAN YOU DO CHANGES?
No, you cannot change what you wrote after finishing your planning session
While running the program if you find some errors, don’t panic. Just correct the
code on the computer and try and work on it to get the desired output.
5. PREPARING VIVA
This is what is terrifying to most of the students. But the fact is
that it is not as terrifying as it seems to be.
The external teacher will ask you a few questions related to your
program. So do not panic and answer smartly.
