When constructing this product, I learned to use a variety of software and hardware technologies. The Snowball microphone recorded audio at a high quality but required a pop filter, while the portable microphone/recorder captured outdoor audio and noise. Audacity allowed multi-tracking and editing of audio tracks. Prezi, Freemind, and Creative Commons resources helped with presentations, mindmaps, and sourcing free audio clips. A group wiki shared work, while personal blogs documented individual contributions to the collaborative project.
