How Low-Code Development Has Entered a Maturity Spurt Thanks to New Process-O...Dana Gardner
Low-Code development has increased in maturity and is poised to revolutionize digital business applications. Low-Code allows processes and software to be developed much faster by drawing flowcharts instead of writing code. This addresses the growing need for more applications and the inability to find enough developers through traditional means. As digital transformation has become essential, Low-Code development helps organizations keep up with necessary changes. The current maturity of Low-Code provides improved capabilities for designing, deploying, and changing applications to meet business needs.

GUUG FFG 2017 - DevOps for Everybody - A Workplace Strategy for the Digital AgeSchlomo Schapiro
How should our internal IT look in order to be a driving force for a company’s success in the digital age? This proposal is based on all my learnings from the previous 15 years and especially the Agile and DevOps revolution in IT. It takes the concept of a Product Development Organization to apply everywhere and provides a sure path to increase productivity and improve culture through technology. Transforming Corporate IT into a Workplace product takes internal IT out of the proverbial basement and puts it in the front of the internal value chain. Most of the standard tooling for product development also fits the Workplace product. This proposal is written for a typical company that employs both modern web technologies like G Suite and cloud services as well as traditional technologies like Microsoft Office and data centers.
This document discusses top apps for small businesses and tips for choosing the best apps. It begins by outlining 5 types of apps: 1) accounting, finances, payroll, taxes; 2) recruiting, onboarding, HR; 3) time and expense tracking; 4) payment processing and billing; 5) internal and external communication. It then provides tips for "dating" apps before committing, such as not rushing into marriage with the first app and establishing your workflow needs first. Finally, it highlights top recommended apps for small businesses: Trello, Canva, Note, Feedly, and IFTTT.

Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

7. Problem
Lack of simplicity Lack of noveltyLack of speed
In short, in $60 billion plus market of productivity apps : The challenges faced by today's productive person is
compounded by the lack of a instantly trackable accountable action taken summary for the things to do,
generated in his usual workflow (email, browsing, documents, chats etc.) in collaboration with his team. This
person’s entire day on the browser is actually filled with to-dos/bookmarks/delegation at every other step. And for
marking these things as todos, users have to open their work flow apps separately from their actual human flow of
discoveries and communication with their teams.
Hence, a lot of to-do’s still don’t reach a to-do listing tool.
Lack of seamlessness
The workflow gets broken for having to open a to-do listing tool to capture the to-
do while usual browsing and communicating. That is the main friction (main
problem).
A remote team of 10 people uses on average 10 apps daily for research,
communication and task management.e.g. Slack, Trello, Excel,
Salesforce, Chrome, Producteev, Evernote, Googel docs, google caledar,
emails etc. According to our observation, each person of that team loses
30 minutes a day switching from one app to another which represents 5
hours per team per day.
8. Solution
Just clip any selected text from anywhere on the
chrome browser (currently, later on all devices and
browsers) and have it become a to-do item to be
further delegated to you or your team member of
choice; all in one step, absolutely seamlessly,
invisibly, simply.
Hence, helping you gain further productivity and
accountability.
With Todoed, a remote team of 10 persons gain on
average :
20 min / person / day 3.3 hours / team / day
Friction causes churn, and thus, was born Todoed
on the wishful list of several productive persons
A todo listing tool which is built with a design and purpose of being an invisible
underlying layer in your workflow, such that, to use it, you may not even have to open it.
All of this while Todoed itself remains invisible as an app. Its is the simplest and fastest way to convert a thought
or a text into a task, and have it delegated instantly.

Competition
"There is no other tool
which is thinking - that
we don't want people
to open our app. We
are building Todoed
with that thought. We
aim to be that
invisible underlying
layer in their work
flow. That is how we
are differentiated from
our competition.While
the competition
continues to build
products that need to
be opened, that want
to be opened, making
the user switch from
one app to another in
his usual flow of
browsing and
communication. We
are changing all that ”
- Todoed Team
11. USP for Users
1.Simplicity and clear useful novelty.
3.Ensures seamless workflow by
enabling to add the task instantly right
from where it was first thought of, or
typed or spotted on the web.
4.One step export of to-do items to third
party tools like Asana, Pivotal, Trello
etc.
5.Todoed benefits can be enhanced by
using it as a personal bookmarking tool
that makes bookmarks instantly
delegatable and more actionable. Hence,
making them instantly collaborative.
2.Highlight any text anywhere and
assign as a to-do to self or co-worker
with a single right click. Hence,
greater accountability of that text.
Todoed is the the only productivity tool that a user doesn’t need to
open to note a todo, or to delegate a todo or to view his todo lists.
That is the main USP. It is absolutely seamless.
6. As we improve it’s text editor its use
gets further enhanced to be a brilliant
note making tool too.
12. Tech USP
We are using real time websockets
that ensure all of the communication between
users is real time and therefore no lag in between
Frontend is powered by BackboneJS App
Backend is powered by Python App
Node + Socket.io App handles all websocket connections

14. Market
TOTAL ADDRESSABLE MARKET
$58 Billion Productivity and Collaboration App Market (by 2017),27% growth + $5+ Billion Bookmarking App
Market (for instance because it has 210+ Million users roughly) (Source)
$60 Billion+
Every user of this market is in our target user group broadly. So the exact number we don’t know. We just
know it’s huge, even if we get a 1% share of the market, we would be a multi million dollar business.
Are we solving the right problem that can get us at least 1% market share of this
total addressable market?
Our main target customer is early stage startup teams and first time founders who are not looking for a bulky tool to
manage their tasks. They are infact just getting started into being productive. However, Todoed is a universal product
design for any human on earth who is already productive regardless of what tools he is using. We are not looking to
replace the tools for such humans. We are just looking to be a layer before these tools. We also see students and
colleges being our customers.
The answer is - We are giving a tool to the world that has the potential to be an underlying method for keeping thoughts,
words and online discoveries as tasks. A tool that could serve as the first underlying step to all other bookmarking, to-do
listing and project management apps, in the future, even note making apps. Todoed is seamless.

17. Conclusion
Todoed can make the world more productive as we aim to be the easiest to-do listing,
delegating and bookmarking web application in the world. So easy that it does not come in the
way, between a thought and a task as all other apps do. Todoed will be an invisible underlying
layer on the mobile one day. Our vision with what we can do with this sort of a clipping tool is
equivalent to our ambitions to achieve it, boundless.
Todoed can be a billion dollar product in less than 5 years, for it can have millions of
users, and quick growth for it’s got 0 learning curve and real gap fulfillment.
Also since Todoed is first a todo listing tool, we have made this slide deck of it as if a mere
todo listing app. Once we have nailed that, we will release the chat version of Todoed, it
will be a greater chat app, then any other team chat apps out there. We also have a
thought about a novel and simple hardware device for productivity. So it can be expected out
of us in the next 3 years, but not before reaching monthly active 1 million users on what we
call Todoed Basic. .
18. Financials
● We are currently in fundraising mode and wish to close it by the end of April
2016.
● Required investment $30,000 in return for 5% ownership of Todoed.
● If this deck has reached you, it means we are already keen on raising this
required money through you.
● Our roadmap is clear. Now we need to build a more complete team to apply
that road map quickly and near flawless

Editor's Notes
Even integrations on slack is not a good answer to this. Not all productive people are going to be on Slack. So tooded is useful over and above those which are just being built for slack.
How are we making it invisible? How are we changing all that? We have devised a solution where not only creating Todolists don’t require opening another app, but also viewing these todolists don’t require opening Todoed. E.g. emailing of the important todos, emailing todos straight from emails, or personal todoedbot that sends todos to users on their DM on slack, or emails them to us. The same Todoedbot can be used to delegate the todos too.
In 3 years, we would have created $20 million plus in valuation, for your exit, to say the least. by just capturing the to-do listing market as it stands as of today. Almost like the wunderlist story. However, in our case, we will capture the bookmarking market’s share too. Not only that we will capture the note making aspects of this market too, which will eat into Evernote’s share of the market as well, which has given it a value of $1 billion. Above all we will bring new users to this market, for for many, todoed will be their first to-do listing tool.
Notes on basic plan : (Todoed chat feature will show up with one top collaborator who has been delegated 100 times) (there should be more users allowed, if not , why even one? So that a free/paid user can invite another NEW user and that NEW user can actually use chat, after downloading chat. Now atleast this guy has Todoed chat feature on his Todoed)Growth : The total expected revenue in 3 years at minimum is $3.6 million, with 100% growth in revenue from there on year on year in revenue is what we are expecting. While revenue is not the focus for the next one year, 1 million todoed basic users is. (Needs to be taken to slide itself when the growth in revenue year on year is identified)
Our first goal is to have Todoed basic be used by a million people by the end of 2016. Sales, if that Todoed basic distribution goal is achieved, can be in millions of dollars. But first things first, instead of sales projections, we would like to give Todoed basic to millions with sales only as a by product result of that. Previous content : More than $8 Million in revenue in 3 years is what we can create out of Todoed with a total of $100,000 in cost/investment in 1 year. After that the growth will be out of proportion to the costs. Meaning, the growth will be explosive as more free users will convert to paid users.
Out of the intelligent system we will build across Todoed to understand text and become smarter while understanding text, we will build the ability to turn voice notes into text and then automatically delegate to the collaborator upon a simple voice command. This will lay the ground for an extraordinary hardware device for the purpose of recording voice. The best use case lying with a productive person who is thinking work.
To complete the thought, we envision a voice recording ring for recording thoughts and then running intelligent system on it once the voice is transferred to Todoed. It may however be just a passing whim. Not something we will even dwell in till we have a 1,000,000 users on Todoed Basic as a mere todo listing tool. But it’s worth noting that recording voice and sending to team members is a whole new way of communication.
The cost ratios may subject to change as per the need of the hour and knowledge we accumulate further on this topic of costs associated with building a consumer web product.
