Катаральный Гингивит – это воспаление десны, обусловленное неблагоприятным воздействием местных и общих факторов, протекающее без нарушения целостности зубодесневого прикрепления.
Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is a disorder characterized by chronically high blood pressure that must be monitored, treated, and controlled through medication, lifestyle changes such as following a DASH diet, losing weight, or a combination of both to lower blood pressure and reduce risks of other health issues.
1) Strontium ranelate and sodium fluoride were studied for their effects on bone remodeling after tooth extraction and integration of dental implants.
2) Female rats had lower molars extracted and immediately received dental implants under anesthesia. They were given strontium ranelate, sodium fluoride, or a combination of the two to study their effects.
3) Results showed strontium ranelate increased bone density and improved healing after extraction compared to the control. The combination of strontium ranelate and sodium fluoride led to more rapid maturation of new bone tissue forming around the implants. Therefore, the combination of strontium and fluoride may help with integration of dental implants.
The document discusses the normal flora, which are the microorganisms that normally inhabit human tissues without causing disease. It notes that internal tissues are usually sterile, while surface tissues like skin and mucous membranes harbor various microbial species. The normal flora consists mainly of bacteria and helps protect against pathogens by occupying ecological niches and stimulating the immune system. It provides examples of the normal flora found in the oral cavity and discusses the relationships between humans and their indigenous microbiota.
This document discusses modern approaches to caries management and prevention. It emphasizes detecting caries early to allow arrest through non-operative treatment like changing diet and oral hygiene. If caries is active but initial, remineralization can avoid restoration. For cavitated lesions, the decision to restore depends on factors like lesion size and location. Fissure sealants and resin prevent further caries in pits and fissures. The goal is to minimize operative treatment through preventive methods and restoration only when necessary to protect pulp vitality or address symptoms.
This document discusses orthodontic treatment. It begins by explaining that orthodontic treatment is sought to correct malocclusion (improper bite), align crooked teeth, and improve appearance. It then describes different classes of malocclusions and specific issues like overbite, overjet, and crossbite. Causes of malocclusion include genetics, habits, nutrition, premature tooth loss, and jaw growth. Treatment involves using braces, retainers, or other appliances to gradually move teeth into proper position. Proper oral hygiene is important during treatment to prevent decay. Regular dental visits are also recommended.
The document discusses coagulation, the process by which blood clots. More than 30 cells and substances affect clotting, which is initiated by platelets and involves a complex series of reactions converting fibrinogen into fibrin to form a clot. Thrombosis occurs when a blood clot forms inside a blood vessel or heart, partially or completely blocking blood flow. Causes of clotting include the blood composition, vessel wall injuries, and blood flow issues. Clots are classified as venous, such as deep vein thrombosis, or arterial, like those causing strokes and myocardial infarctions when coronary arteries suddenly clog.
This document discusses root canal filling materials and techniques. It describes the purpose of root canal fillings to prevent bacterial spread and infection. Common filling materials include gutta-percha points, various sealers like zinc oxide-eugenol or calcium hydroxide, and techniques like cold lateral condensation, warm vertical condensation, and thermoplastic injection. Removing the smear layer before filling and providing a coronal seal are also discussed.
