Linux kernel and the GNU-C library.
 Tizen provides application development tools
based on jQuery and jQuery Mobile.

The Tizen platform provides the following SDK

 Web SDK - which is an HTML5 and Javascript SDK
 Native SDK - which is a C-based SDK

Advantages
 Compatibility with multiple mobile platforms
 Extensive personalisation capabilities
 Tizen OS was able to run android application
which has a base of HTML5
 Tizen operating system has support for a variety
of other devices such as a TV, a camera, or a PC.

 Tizen is still not too familiar.
 Tizen is still a second choice after the Android
OS.
