21 Uncommon ways to work smarter instead of harderVartika Kashyap
We all have a lot to do every day, and a limited amount of time to do it in. Most us end up getting stressed with the workload we have and deadlines we have to achieve. Well, there are a lot of ways in with you can save your time and energy. Let’s me introduce you to these 21 uncommon ways in which you can work smarter instead of harder!
Here are 12 out of 39 helpful tips on how to be efficient and productive at work. For more tips of this type, click the link: http://vkool.com/how-to-be-efficient/.
1. Set Deadlines
You should set deadlines for almost everything you do; otherwise, you will not try your best to fulfill your tasks.
2. Upgrade Technology
In this modern world, technology plays a very important role in working productivity. Therefore, upgrading technology on a regular basis is one of the tips on how to be efficient and productive at work. Technology helps you work faster and more precisely.
3. Avoid Personal Affairs At Work
You may have some personal calls when you are at work, but do not let them last for too long as this will badly affect your productivity. These phone calls can even lower your concentration on what you are doing, resulting in some mistakes at work. Moreover, your boss will not appreciate you if you keep doing personal affairs at work.
4. Work Hard In The Morning
In the morning when you are full of energy, you should focus on doing your tasks at work. This will help you complete your work fast, precisely, and efficiently. If you do some stuff like checking email or status updates on social networking sites in the morning, you are lowering your productivity.
5. Stop Laziness
Another tip on how to be efficient and productive at work is to stop laziness. Laziness loses your working productivity, and prevents you from promotion. Therefore, you should always focus on your main work rather than chatting with colleagues at work.
6. Stop Doing Multi-Tasks
Doing a task well is better than doing multi-tasks incompletely at a time. If you want to do a lot of tasks, complete one by one at a time. Do not try to complete them at the same time as you may make big mistakes on them.
7. Use Appropriate Communication
Communicating appropriately is another tip on how to be efficient at work. If you need to explain something to your boss or co-workers, you should try to make it easy to understand. You should always use positive words in conversations at work even when you disagree with someone there.
8. Say No
Saying no at the right time will also help you work efficiently and productively. For example, when someone asks you to do something which is not your passion or priority, you can say no without hesitance, and come back to your main work.
9. Sleep Enough
Make sure that you sleep enough 8 hours a day to be physically and mentally healthy at work. Lack of sleep makes you tired, and unable to work at 100% of productivity.
10. Get Exercise
Doing exercises makes you strong, and decisive, as well as, confident at work. It also helps you avoid obesity and some other diseases like back pain or shoulder pain due to long sitting hours at work.

Key Considerations to Maximise Productivity in a Remote Working Environment Naina Rajput
Productivity is the crucial factor in running the business smoothly. Here we have mentioned some factors that can help you in creating a productive work environment.
Cracking the Workplace Discipline Code Main.pptxWorkforce Group
Cultivating and maintaining discipline within teams is a critical differentiator for successful organisations.
Forward-thinking leaders and business managers understand the impact that discipline has on organisational success. A disciplined workforce operates with clarity, focus, and a shared understanding of expectations, ultimately driving better results, optimising productivity, and facilitating seamless collaboration.

• Four (4) workplace discipline methods you should consider
• The best and most practical approach to implementing workplace discipline.

Making More Money (Workbook): Simple Strategies for Improving Cash Flow and P...jrd9234
Improvement is about helping you make more money—it’s not about change for the sake of change. Many organizations try to apply the tools of improvement to things that don’t make a difference—like shuffling deck chairs on a sinking ship. Real improvement gets to the root of organizational problems and addresses those problems with lasting solutions.
The principles of improvement apply to every kind of organization—regardless of size or structure. There is no organization anywhere which can’t benefit from improvement. As my late friend and mentor Bill Conway used to wryly say, “The normal state of everything is all screwed up.” This statement is axiomatically true because we tend to accept “screwed up” as the normal state of things. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
Finding waste usually involves a significant change in mindset—and a willingness to question the way we do things now. To paraphrase a famous quote from Einstein, we can’t solve our problems without first changing the way we think. Or to use Bill Conway’s expression, we can’t do improvement unless we “get our squash right.” With that in mind, the exercises in this workbook are designed to help you uncover areas where significant improvement is not only possible, but absolutely necessary. You may find opportunity in places you never would have expected.

Tips on How to be More Productive at Work
1.
2. When firms go to a finance industry
recruiter to find a financial advisor for
their firm, there are two categories of
skills that they look for.
3. First, they seek out the tangibles-- an
appropriate education and level of
licensing, and an expected level of
experience for the given position.
4. There is also a second level of skills, the
intangibles, that can go a long way for
an employee to get chosen.
5. Often, those who are promoted ahead
of the usual advancement skills are high
in the intangibles.
6. These can include positive demeanor
and/or emotional intelligence, ability to
work with difficult people, work ethic,
willingness to listen to others both
above and below them, and productivity.
7. Though some of these skills are difficult
to teach, others, like productivity, can
be improved by making some good,
conscious choices.
8. If you are someone who is looking to
boost productivity, and your future
career prospects, give these
techniques a try:
14. Studies show that setting a series of
small, achievable goals is a
consistently successful strategy in
conquering long-term goals.
15. This strategy has been implemented in
therapy, in twelve-step programs, and is
a great way to up your productivity in
stages without getting discouraged.
16. As you achieve smaller goals, reward
yourself. Make the rewards increasingly
bigger- a new item you want to buy, a
night on the town, a vacation, etc.
17. This makes the reward even sweeter,
and you more likely to follow through.
26. Are you getting adequate levels of water
and nourishing foods in your diet?
Consider a supplement and more hydration
if you think that your diet is subpar.
27. It is amazing how much of a difference that
water can make. Avoid too much sugar and
caffeine without protein to counteract it,
unless you want to face an afternoon slump.
29. If you find that you have a certain time of day
that is consistently your low-production time,
use that time for a fifteen-minute walk instead
of a coffee break.
30. This will wake up your body and your mind.
A large glass of water afterwards, and you
will be surprised at the difference.
