Try to use only ONE calendar (or at least SYNCH multiple calendars).
MAKE the time to work out. It will make your intellectual work go MUCH faster!
Know your own BIORHYTHM and personal most-productive time of day. NOTE: this is a psuedo-science and you can train yourself for better productivity at different times through discipline.
If you have the luxury, try being a NAP person. It’s like getting 2 days in one!
•Make a To-Do list the night before.
•Capture all items with a brain dump and order them in priority of importance.
•Schedule them in your day the next morning. ( = A Recipe for SOUND SLEEP!)
CREATE your own PLN (personal learning network) of people who you can turn to for advice. Don’t try to invent everything from scratch!
Know when to outsource it. HIRE someone to do things you hate or cannot do quickly AND well. Know the value of your time.
Streamline your work environment:
•Close extra browser tabs.
•Remove stacks of papers and other distractions.
•Turn off your phone ringer & chat apps.
Remember that PERFECTIONISM
is the enemy of COMPLETION.
> Know what’s good-enough.
Bring “handwork” (today’s equivalent of knitting) that you can pick up and do while waiting. Work-related reading is a good investment for spare time.
KNOW your Goals…
•Break them down into steps.
•Keep steps visible!
