11 apps to
change your life
jan. 2016
“Motivation is what gets you started.
Habit is what keeps you going”
Jim Ryun
Series, movies, music, family, books,
trips, podcasts, sleep…time
We never had so many possibilities and so
little willingness to take advantage of them
Multitasking is a myth
Our brain is single task
You don't do several things at once, just switch
between them, doing one at a time and with a
high cognitive cost to regain focus
We become sick,
anxious and frustrated
Who wants to do everything, ends up
not doing anything with the focus and
dedication that certain activities ask
To make matters worse,
we also procrastinate
So what to do to live
and not just survive?
Establishing habits
and taking advantage
of its strength
Good news: technology
can help us to build them
So I chose 11 apps which have helped
me to establish good habits and change
my daily life for the better
Habits and to-dos

I'm from Porto Alegre (Brazil) and I live in Chapecó, SC. Insomnia,
my debut book, received Honorable Mention at SESC Prize for
Literature and was selected to integrate the Machado de Assis
magazine, a publication of the National Library that aims to
disseminate Brazilian authors for the international publishing market.
I am also the creator and editor of the website 2000 toques, whose
goal is to show the routines and processes involved in the daily lives of
Brazilian writers. In 2015, with my short story Sleep Island, I was
among the 20 finalists (of almost 7000 attendees) of Brazil in Prose
contest, from Amazon Brazil. I’m also work as a planner and
copywriter for advertising agencies. Currently, I work on my first
novel, with publication of forecast for 2017. Look for my articles on the
internet and my books on Amazon or on my website.
