Led by Madonna, the film contained many of the songs from the 1976 musical, as well as the original song “You Must Love Me.” Decades later, in 2012, Evita returned to Broadway. The revival starred Elena Roger, as well as pop star Ricky Martin as the fictionalized Che Guevara.
