This lesson plan has high school art history and studio students create a visual representation of art history by researching two pieces of art and one piece of music from each era and using the Animoto software to make a 30 second chronological video depicting their selections. The purpose is to provide an overview of art's progression, develop visual communication and research skills, and expose students to digital music sampling. Students will research each era, select works, use Animoto to create a video with their selections, and piece together music from each era to add to their Animoto video.
