The Tragedy Of Macbeth Essay
Crafting an essay on "The Tragedy of Macbeth" presents both a captivating and challenging
endeavor. The complexity lies not only in the intricacies of Shakespeare's language but also in
unraveling the profound themes, characters, and their evolving motivations. Analyzing
Macbeth's tragic downfall, Lady Macbeth's psychological unraveling, and the supernatural
elements woven throughout the play requires a deep understanding of literary devices and
historical context.
Moreover, delving into the multifaceted layers of ambition, guilt, and the consequences of
unchecked power demands a nuanced approach. Striking a balance between providing insightful
analysis and avoiding mere plot summary can be a delicate task, as the essay should offer fresh
perspectives on a well-trodden literary terrain.
Additionally, navigating through the vast body of critical interpretations poses a challenge. The
plethora of scholarly debates surrounding Macbeth necessitates thorough research to ensure the
incorporation of diverse perspectives, enriching the essay with a comprehensive understanding of
the play.
On a personal level, connecting with the characters and themes on an emotional level is crucial
for conveying the essence of the tragedy. Developing a coherent and compelling thesis statement
that captures the essence of the essay while presenting a unique perspective adds an extra layer
of difficulty.
However, despite the challenges, the process of writing an essay on "The Tragedy of Macbeth" is
an intellectually rewarding journey. It allows for a deep exploration of Shakespeare's timeless
work and fosters a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of Elizabethan drama.

Paquackaway State Park Research Paper
It only happens once a year. Our annual fall camping trip to Pawtuckaway State
Park, one of the best nature gateways specifically to observe spectacular fall
foliage. A lot of people are timid by a thought of taking a camping trip that late in
the season at the end of October when the temperature at night falls to smoldering
thirty degrees and only a thin layer of a polyester fabric of a tent to keep you
sheltered from the cold temperatures, wilderness and the elements. It does seem a
little extreme, but I absolutely love it and it s the event I wait for the whole year.
We set on our journey early Saturday morning. The park is situated in the state of
New Hampshire, a short drive up north. A vigorous smell of pine trees slipped in

We are finally here. First, we check in at the camp office, we had online
reservations for a specific site, so the registration went with ease. Then we stock
up on firewood purchasing five bundles. Being somewhat of a regular here we
know exactly how to get to our destination campground. We drove on a narrow,
winding dirt road, the gravel under the tires made a popping sound to our site and
the drive was gorgeous fall foliage at its best. A coating of vibrant red, yellow, and
orange covers the terrain. Panoramic views of the sprawling Pawtackaway lake are
breathtaking to witness. Wooded campgrounds line the shore of the lake and most
of them come with a private view of the water. You get the feeling of being secluded
in forest and lake environment with a relaxing and picturesque atmosphere. The lake
is spotted with numerous various size islands mainly created from post glacier rock
formations. Much of the topography is boulder spawn giving it a New Hampshire
mountain feel. There actually is a small mountain you can hike. Hiking trails

When Lightning Strikes An Unprotected Home
Many people regard the chances of their home getting struck by lightning as highly
unlikely. This may be true, but it depends on your circumstances. If your house is on
a hill, in an open area, or has tall trees next to it, then a lightning strike is a greater
possibility. Another risk factor is geographic location, and it doesn t help that our
beautiful state of Florida has the highest incidence of lightning activity in the United
States. We also rank as the fourth most lightning prone area on earth. When lightning
strikes an unprotected home, it may cause a fire or even make the wood structure
explode when the lightning bolt instantly vaporizes moisture in the wood. While the
probability of your home getting hit by lightning is low, the consequences can be
high such as structural damage or a house fire. Another risk is damage to expensive
electronic items in your home such as computers, home entertainment systems, and
security systems. The value of these items can range from thousands to hundreds of
thousands of dollars and this doesn t include the value of personal and business data
stored in computers.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The lightning only has to strike outside power and telephone lines which provide an
electrical path to your home s electronics. Power and phone lines are often elevated
high off the ground and have extensive exposed networks. Lightning can also find
other pathways to your electronics such as through an external air conditioning unit,
external lightning, and security systems. Anything in your yard that s electrically
connected to your house is a possible pathway. Of course, a direct hit to your house
may also damage your electronics since the current can follow your home s electrical
systems. As your house insurance agency, we would like to share these tips on

Problem And Purpose Of A Project
1. PROBLEM AND PURPOSE OF STUDY
Every organization spends billions of dollars for the success of the projects, but
money alone is not the factor for the projects to be successful. From
conceptualization to planning and budgeting, execution and control they take so
much care for completion of projects. But, still even though how big and successful
the company is they still have some projects which will fail from time to time. There
are various reasons why projects fail like due to management issues, Quality issues,
insufficient resources, Estimation of costs and schedules and so on. One of the main
important factors to care for any project to be successful is the Quality . In the past
few decades there are thousands of projects which ... Show more content on

In this case NASA did not take care of the quality assurance processes which
contractor followed in the manufacturing and decision making is also another reason
for the failure which resulted in loss of lives, billions of dollars they have invested,
time and efforts they have kept to make the project a success.
Another recent example is the Toyota Cars Recall, in 2009; Toyota recalled around
9 million cars due to lack of quality control and quality assurance they followed
which resulted in death of 52 people. The main reason is they had a removable floor
mat that gets struck to the accelerator which led to crash. After the retrospection they
realized that they followed poor quality principles and lack of sharing of best
practices in the organization.
In both the cases mentioned above, NASA and Toyota have decades of experience in
project management and the completed thousands of projects successfully, but time
to time they have projects failed miserably which resulted in huge loss , the main
reason for the failures is the lack of quality assurance and quality checks. In this
paper we will discuss general aspects of how we perform quality assurance.
2. INTRODUCTION TO QUALITY ASSURANCE
Perform Quality Assurance is the process we take up to maintain the desired levels
of quality for a product or service. It is the process we audit the quality requirements
to ensure the quality standards. It also provides an
Manipulation In A Rose For Emily
A Rose for Freedom
A Rose for Emily written by William Faulkner, symbolizes so much more than what
is said in the text. William Faulkner sets an intense mood at the beginning of the story
when announcing the death of Miss Emily Grierson. Not many stories start off with
death, but in this case, Emily s death is a very important key point to the story. The
narrator manipulates time in the way he tells the story. The narrator starts off with
with Emily s death and continues the story with the past, the late past, and the past
past. This time manipulation is very important to set the themes of the story. There is
not one specific theme, but actually a variety. For example, the time manipulation by
confusing the reader with the past and the present. Another example is the loneliness

The fact that Emily buys a man s toilet set and a complete outfit of men s clothing,
including a nightshirt, symbolizes that Emily truly cared about Homer. Emily uses
these things to set up a decked room as for a bridal in her house, and sets homer s
body in a bed. Homer s body was lain in the attitude of an embrace and next to him
was a pillow with the indentation of a head. This symbolizes that Emily slept with
Homer every night. The biggest clue of all, was the iron grey hair they found on
the bed, which was Emily s. Emily symbolizes the old South because she resists
change in the way that, as she got older, and the world around her changed, she
latches on to her traditions. Tobe s disappearance symbolizes the freedom of slaves
after Emily s death, which symbolizes the end of the Old South. He also disappears
to avoid having to spill Emily s secrets to the town. The rose in The Rose for Emily
symbolizes the true love which Miss Emily never experienced. The house is a huge
symbolism of Emily s isolation because that was all she had, and all her father left
her. It also symbolizes the decaying South and at the end of the story, the house, like
Miss Emily, has become
The Dangers Of Being A Homeschool Family
Being a homeschool family has many joys, but it also has its challenges. One of
those challenges is maintaining wellness. As homeschooling parents we start
homeschooling for many reasons, but our main goal is always to provide our
children with opportunities that will equip them to be successful in life. But that
harmless goal can quickly lead to an obsession that will suck the life out of you,
your marriage, and your family. The obsession may manifest itself as a
preoccupation with curriculum, agonizing over your child s lack of
comprehension, or feeling like a failure because your children are not following
directions and giving you a hard time. You may be hiding in your bathroom
because your house is a mess and the kids have found all of the food, devoured it,
and are still looking for more even though dinner time is four hours away and
bedtime is still farther. The many difficulties of having your work constantly at
home is enough to drive you to the edge of the world. You know something is
amiss, you re not feeling well , but you continue on, hoping something will just click
so that you can feel well again. Yet wellness is a vague term. You understand that
you should look after your wellbeing. But you often don t know what that entails nor
where to start. And it is hard to focus on your own wellness when you have your
family s needs to meet. Wellness is about your emotional, physical, and spiritual
health. Most of the time we tackle these
Relationship Between Ownership And A Sense Of Self
Anywhere in the world, someone acquires something, whether it be money, a car, or
even an idea. We can own many intangible and tangible items in life, but how does
ownership relate to a sense and development of self? This question has been
constantly answered for centuries through intelligent people like Plato, Aristotle, and
Jean Paul Sartre. However, the question has received no agreeable answer. In the
end, people will agree that there is a strong and positive relationship between
ownership and a sense of selfbecause the things you own will define and develop
who you are positively by exhibiting what you like, what you can and cannot do,
and in the end, characterizes you, as long as you use the things you own properly.
Jean Paul Sartre argues that intangible items such as skill and knowledge is
something that we own and defines who we are, since acquiring skill and
knowledge makes us better in different aspects of life. He also argues the tangible
aspects of life that we own also defines us. By saying this, Sartre is agreeing that
when we own something such as knowledge, it will shape our sense of selfand identity
since it makes us a better person when we use our own knowledge to benefit our own
selves and others, thus showing a strong and positive relationship between ownership
and sense of self and identity. Aristotle would also agree with both Jean Paul Sartre
and the statement that the relationship between ownership and sense of self is strong
and positive

I Am A Monk From A Small Church
Hello my fellow Christians. I come to you today in deep personal peril. I have
built my career making Icon frames my entire life. I once felt I was helping people
seek refuge with our glorious god. Connecting them to not just to our holy saints
but also to Christ himself. Yet now I stand wondering if I have strayed them wrong.
Have I sent my fellow men, woman, and even children to damnation while I profit. I
am a monk before an artisan, yet I may have cursed my fellow followers to hell.
This is why I am here, I want find out if what I have been doing helping or hurting
innocent souls, and if so to repent my sins. I look toward you all and ask that you
look at this with not your minds or wallets, but instead with our souls and look
toward god for guidance. In these trying times we need him more then ever
I am not a very educated man; I am a monk from a small church in Constantinople. I
make religious object, including icon frames to help myself and others connect to
god. I make very intricate frames with precious metals, such as gold, and jewels for
churches (Carr pp. 195) but I also make simple ones for the peasants to have in their
homes. I take time making sure each frame, no matter how simple, highlights the
holiness of who ever is depicted in the icon.
When I view the final work, I always viewed it as a celebration of the person,
especially Christ. I look at it a remember Christ s sacrifices for my sins and the rest of

Essay on The American Dream in The Jungle by Upton...
Muckraking, to search for and expose real or alleged corruption, scandal, or the like,
especially in politics (dictionary.com). Upton Sinclair gained fame in the early 1900 s
from his muckraking novel, The Jungle, describing the life of a young Lithuanian
immigrant, Jurgis, living in Chicago in pursuit of the American dream. Jurgis found
out that America isn t as good as it appeared; with higher wages came more
expensive goods, and with cheaper houses came higher interest rates. The Jungle, a
fictional novel, tells of the real horrors of working in a Chicago meat packing factory.
Sinclair had gone undercover, in a meat factory, for seven weeks to gain the
information necessary to write the book. Throughout the novel, there are hints of...

along with the formation of unions. The Jungle, from 1906, has been deemed as a
classic denunciation of industrial capitalism and one of the most revolutionary
novels of the age (wordsocialism.org). In the Progressive Era , Sinclair s ideas were
at the center of the social movement, due to the brutality of the time period, The
Jungle was not easily published. The aesthetics of a novel include the way an author
uses elements of style, such as imagery, irony, and paradox, to enhance characters,
plot, and theme. From this perspective, The Jungle is not considered quality
literature. (cliffsnotes.com) Others thought that Sinclair only wrote the novel as
propaganda for his political career, or as a simple muckraking novel. He was not
thought to write nonfiction, so his words could not always be trusted. For these
reasons, Sinclair was not considered a serious author.
Sinclair was an expressive socialist, and showed his beliefs in his novels. In The
Jungle, Sinclair frequently referenced socialism and how it would fix all the
problems created through capitalism. Capitalism is not the problem.
Anti-Money Laundering And Counter-Terrorism Financing
We all understand that anti money laundering and counter terrorism financing

First, to gain an understanding on which parts of the legislation may apply directly
to them, and to provide tips to manage a legal practice for compliance. This may
include taking a risk based approach towards anti money laundering and counter
terrorism financing, initial client identification and ongoing client due diligence, and
suspicious matter reporting. Non compliance brings about the risk of criminal
proceedings, civil proceedings, and disciplinary action (such as by professional
bodies).

In other words, terrorism is often funded by clean money.
How does money laundering work in theory?
There are normally three steps in the ML process:
1.Placement This is where the money originated from an illegal source is introduced
into the financial system. This may be by way of depositing it into a bank account or
by converting it into diamonds, gold or other assets that can then be sold.
2.Layering This is where the money from an illegal source is dispersed and disguised
through a series of transactions or moved several times from its origin in order to
hide any audit trail. This may involve the use of multiple banks and accounts in
difference names, then transact through intermediaries, corporations and trusts.
3.Integration This is where, after distancing the money from any criminal association,
that money is integrated back into the economy. This may be by investment in
property developments or similar activities. At this stage, the illegal money has
achieved the appearance of legitimacy.

Life Worth Living
TITLE The simple question, What makes life worth living? Is a difficult question
to answer. The ways that we live our life have rippling effects on others around us,
so it is imperative to make correct choices that make life worth living. Everyone in
life also has different ideas of what makes life doable through hard difficult times
were perseverance is needed, and that s when we ask ourselves what makes life
worth living?, without a doubt waking up every morning, family, and the future
make life worth living. One of such ways of that makes life worth living is by
waking every morning, which gives a fresh new start, and a chance to have a

The feeling of love and a good stable are also very key points in stable good
standing family, but when a family has forgiveness for one another it goes beyond
any other understanding. The power of forgiveness in a family extends from as
small as forgetting someone s birthday to a huge mistake such as forgiving a family
member for crashing the family car. The three important factors all tie into the
reason of why family make life worth living. The exhilarating feeling of not
knowing the outcome of the future makes life more worth living. The outcome of
the future is always a ominous mystery which is what makes it so interesting but at
the same time we have a small control of what happens in the future, as the choices
we make will surely impact the outcome of the future that is chosen. The simpleness
of positive influxes in life can extend the thoughts of what we think that about in our
future s that make life worth living. Although the standard american dream is sought
to be the perfect future for every american due to the thoughts of having the nice
house, the dream job and the perfect house, but we miss the simple fact of how
every individual has a set future in mind that they want to make goals towards and
complete. Ideas of diverse futures are what makes futures so exciting and different

Chapter 2 Of The Annual Shape Trip-Personal Narrative
It was day 2 of the annual canoe trip that my Boy Scout troop goes on. I was in a
kayak because of a lack of canoes. The day started out with a cold and groggy
morning. The scouts ventured out to find wood to start a fire with, and the adults
began to fix breakfast and their morning cup of coffee. After the boys had gathered
enough wood for a fire, and the adults had breakfast prepared to be cooked, the
scouts constructed a roaring fire for everyone to cook their food over. Breakfast
was set to be fish. Since we were without any electronics or cooking devices, we
made hobo packs, which consisted of putting all of our food in an aluminum foil
wrap and heating it. The painstaking wait was over, and we now had a delicious

lunch had rolled around, so we stopped on an island to have lunch. Slowly, but
surely, the entire troop regrouped at the island and enjoyed a tasty meal of hotdogs
and chips. Lunch came to an end, and everyone s stomachs were full. Once more,
we abided by our Scout Motto, and left the island so we could paddle our way to the
end of our endeavour. Just a short distance of nearly a mile from the island, some
heavy rapids awaited our coming. They were something we all had to just deal
with, and figure out by trial and error, the best way to pass through them. A fellow
scout of mine, Ben, decided he wanted to be the first to try his luck in these rapids.
Ben was a first year scout, who had never been on the canoe trip before. Ben was in a
kayak as well. I followed closely behind Ben so that I could be of assistance should

Fast Food Industry in U.S
A variety of different regulations have been set for people that are concerned with
tobacco either on a personal level or commercially. Tobacco is associated with
damages and thus it has been attacked by medical authorities and social observers.
The fast food industry is no exception since it has also contributed to different
damages to people s health. Obesity is just one of the many ailments caused by fast
food joints.
FDA has made sure that regulations are set and implemented to protect people from
damages that tobacco cause. FDA and Tobacco Regulation have some policies that

The public have claimed that some fast food industries have engaged in advertising
that is deceiving, low quality sales and promotions. Fast food has also been accused
of producing food that is unreasonably unsafe, and lacking to inform customers on the
dangers of these products.
There is a rising level of obesity in the world today and the cause is found in the way
our food is being grown, processed and packaged (Brownell, 2009). Fast food industry
should adapt the marketing and the tactics in lobbying that are used by the tobacco
industries. The tobacco industry used legal, political and business strategies tactic
due to the concern that the industry had to the public health. Fast foods should
employ these same regulations that the tobacco giants employed.
The public should be informed about the link that exists between various fast food
products and diseases. The doubts that the public has regarding to fast food
products should be cleared through intensive marketing especially to the target
consumers and in the fast food case it s the children, adolescents and young adults.
Just like tobacco is addictive fast foods can also cause an addiction especially to
people who dislike cooking at home or mostly live alone in their homes. The industry
should embrace regulations since a great concern has been raised about fast food and

establishing a good branding of your products are of great importance when entering
into the realm of business. But, despite its known importance, many people may still
have linked the meaning of brand to just the name or label of a business. Here, we

As defined by Kotler and Armstrong (2013), a brand is a name, term, sign, symbol,

from its competitors. With that being said, it really does encompass a broader

The Universal commercial Code Essay
The Universal commercial Code ( UCC) has been created to foster the free flow of
commercial activity in the United States by making laws that are both reasonable
and practical. Article 3 of this code deals with negotiable instruments. These contracts
for payment serve as a substitute for actual money and make the flow of commerce
move along at a faster rate.
There are certain requirements that must be met for an item to be qualified as a
negotiable instrument. First the instrument must be in writing. This writing must also
meet the permanence and portability requirements. The writing must be made on a
permanent surface (not in the sand) and it must be portable and able to be transferred.

These types of endorsements are either blank or special, Unqualified or qualified, and
nonrestrictive or restrictive.
A blank endorsement does not specify a particular endorsee. It may consist of a
mere signature. This signature converts the order paper into bearer paper that can be
redeemed by any one who has possession of the check. A special endorsement
contains the signature of the endorser along and specifies to whom the instrument is
payable.
Unqualified endorsement is a promise by the endorser to pay the holder or any
subsequent endorser the amount of the instrument if the maker drawer or accepter
defaults on it. The order of the liability is the order in which they indorse the
instrument. In a qualified endorsement the endorser includes the notation without
recourse that disclaims the liability of the endorser against default of drawer, maker

Most endorsements are nonrestrictive; they do not have any conditions attached to
the payment of funds. Occasionally an endorser includes some form of instruction in
the endorsement. This is called a restrictive endorsement. This may include an
endorsements that are, conditional, for collection or deposit, or in trust.
A person cannot be held contractually liable on a negotiable instrument unless his or

One of the goals of article 3 of the UCC is to balance the rights of parties to

The Importance Of Meaningful Life
A meaningful life means find happiness in everything you do, it means enjoy and
share time with your loved ones, and have a purpose in life. To find happiness, we
must go through different tribulations and situations where life doesn t seem to be
so easy. Happiness is an art that can be learned, it describes a deep sense of inner
well being, peace and vitality. You must know that even from your worst moments
in life there is something good to take out of it. If we really want to be happy we
must be grateful for what we have, we must enjoy everything that has been given
to us. We must remember that out there, there is people wishing or working hard
for what we already have. As we read In Search of April Raintree we can find
different situations during April s childhood where she finds happiness in simple
things. One December, we all went downtown to watch the Santa Claus parade.
That was such a thrilling, magical day for me. After that, we went to visit an aunt
and uncle where Cheryl and I had a glorious old time feasting on cake, fruit, and
hot chocolate. Then we walked home. Dad threw snowballs at Mom for a bit
before he carried sleepy eyed Cheryl in his arms. I was enchanted by all the
coloured Christmas lights and the decorations in the store windows. I think that was
the best day ever, because Mom and Dad laughed for real (P.13) this passage shows
us how our childhood memories can stick with us forever, they revive the happiness
we felt that moment. Next important

Catherine de Medici reigned as both Queen of France and Regent of France during

Summary Of How To Tell A True War Story By Tim O Brien
Tim O brien, an American novelist, has a complex, but creative meaning in his story
How To Tell a True War Story . My interpretation of the story is that the person
telling a story has the power to create the connection between the reader s opinion,
emotion, and the story being told. Throughout the text O brien proves this by making
statements to support his claim, but then contradicts himself afterwards. In this story
O brien uses a war story because of the conflicting information giving from the story
and what actually had happened. To make a connection between the reader s opinion
and the story Tim O brien uses examples of what he is trying to interpret within the
story. Starting off the story he states This is true (O brien 67), later... Show more

A true war story, if truly told, makes the stomach believe (O brien 78), is the point
where I believed the story s meaning lies in the actual story. The reason is, O brien
talks about a feeling that is created after hearing the story. This feeling is an
indicator that the story and emotions had a link that went hand to hand with one
another. It supports the idea that how a story is told can influence a person s
opinion and or emotion regarding the story. In the end the meaning does lie within
your head, but is created based off of what is said in the
Significance of Emotional Education in Dickens Novel,...
Set in the ever shifting world of the Industrial Revolution, Charles Dickens novel
Hard Times begins with a description of a utilitarian paradise created by the
illustrious and eminently practical Mr. Gradgrind, a world that follows a
prescribed set of logically laid out facts. However, readers soon realize that
Gradgrind s modern utopia is only a simulacrum, belied by the damnation of lives
devoid of elements that feed the heart and soul, as well as the mind. As the years
progress, the weaknesses of Gradgrind s carefully constructed system become
painfully apparent, especially in his children Louisa and Tom, and in the poor
workers employed under one Mr. Josiah Bounderby, a wealthy factory owner who is
a subscriber to Gradgrind s... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, Louisa has not succumbed entirely to her father s prohibition against
wondering and imagining. Her humanity emerges gradually as the novel
progresses, as the result of her warm inner fire created by her secret fancies in
otherwise her lonely, mechanized existence. As her failing and loveless marriage to
the greedy and arrogant bully of humility Bounderby takes its toll, Louisa reaches
out, first to Stephen Blackpool, an oppressed factory worker, and then to James
Harthouse, a cynical, amoral, and thrill seeking aristocrat who tries to seduce her.
Here, the long denial of two vital human forces, emotion and imagination, causes an
explosive release of containment in Louisa, inflicting her with adulterous yearnings
that drives her to the brink of madness and to an eventual emotional breakdown at
her father s mercy. Nothing in Louisa s previous education has prepared her to
handle her emerging passions. She saves herself from disgrace just in time, helped
by the friendship of Sissy Jupe, who represents the wisdom of the heart ― a wisdom
Louisa has never known. In the end, Louisa s true nature finally overcomes her father
s strictly scientific education, and she ends up as a mature, generous, and humane
young woman that dedicates her life to helping those less fortunate than she. Tom,
Louisa s only beacon in her completely barren life, is another dismal and pathetic
product of the Gradgrind philosophy of education. Self centered and insensitive
Distributive Justice Theory
According to Kreitner Kinicki (2013, p. 215), Distributive justice reflects the
perceived fairness of how resources and rewards are distributed or allocated.
A time in which distributive justice was applied at my job was during a time in
which I worked with for a medical facility call center. While employed there, several
workers within the division held equivalent job titles and were hired to perform the
same daily tasks. However, there were some employees that held a seniority status
and our pay rates were different based on our education and experience. Although, our
working efforts and methods of completing work was highly different.
Throughout each day, we all were assigned the same tasks to complete. In regards to
the tasks we had a quota to meet and or exceed. A lot of the employees exemplified
professionalism, organization, time management, and dedication. However, there
were staff within our division that felt they took precedence because of their
longevity within the division. The seasoned staff felt that due to them being there for
so long they were accustomed to taking excessive smoke breaks, hardly meeting
quota, excessive long lunch breaks, and consistently watched Netflix and played
online games. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

special projects, and constructive feedback. Moreover, during performance
evaluations, they determined your salary increases, promotions to team leads,
bonuses, and other incentives. Therefore despite others not completing tasks and
slacking on their duties, they were reprimanded. So I felt that they treated workers
fair and based your rewards fairly from your work performance and efforts.

Essay on Contingency Theory of Leadership
Contingency Theory of Leadership The most popular and extensively researched
situational theory of leadership was first proposed by Fred Piedler during the
1960s. Fiedler s model claims that group performance depends on the interaction of
the leader style and the favorableness of the situation. Fiedlers major contributions
consist of(l) iden tifying the leadership orientation of the leader and developing a
way to measure it, and (2) identifying three situational factors influencing leadership
and developing a method of measuring them Leader orientation. Fiedler s definition

more effective depends upon the favorableness of the situation. In some situations, a
high LPC leader is most effective, while a unenthusiastic low LPC leader is more
effective in other situations. Fiedler claimed that the favorableness of the situation is
determined by three variables: (1) whether the relationships between the leader and
the members are good or poor. (2) whether the task is relatively structured or
unstructured, and (3) whether the power position of the leader is relatively strong or
weak. In studies testing the model, Fiedler and his colleagues developed instru ments

Amongst the most important documents in Canadian politics, the Charter of Rights
is always near the top. The establishment of this document was spearheaded by Pierre
Trudeau, it is the embodiment of a society that Pierre Trudeau wanted in a
document. The Charter of Rights had many effects, from giving the people a list
of freedoms that they continue to enjoy on a daily basis to the ability of the
government to take them away, given the right circumstances. While the list of
effects is long, what this paper is going to focus on can be split into two categories.
First and probably most critical is the change in roles of the judicial branch.
Specifically, how the increase in their power as affected Canadian politics. Second
area of discussion is Section 33 and 27. They are going to be analyzed in their
influence on politics and future policies.
The first point of discussion is about the court s role. Since the Charter, countless
discussions about the court s responsibilities have occurred. Regardless of whether it
is benefitting Canada or not, it is undeniable that Canada has experienced the
judicializing of its government . The effect of having the some of the power of
Parliament shifted into the hands of the Judiciary. Previously, the judicial branch s
duty is to deal punishments to those who break the law. It was up to
Examples Of Illusion In The Great Gatsby
The Illusion and the Illusioned: Exploring Perception in American Literature The
power of conviction proves a prevalent theme that authors often deconstruct
throughout the American literary canon. Perception fundamentally differs from
reality, yet authors adopt it to portray characters catalyzed to action by their own
illusions. In F. Scott Fitzgeralds The Great Gatsby, Jay Gatsbys blind trust in Daisy
shapes his trajectory in life, which portends his eventual demise. Similarly, Pecola s
yearning for and conviction in the fulfillment of white beauty standards in The Bluest
Eye eventually pushes her to insanity. Though Fitzgerald and Morrison connote
illusion negatively through these two texts, Kate Chopin s The Awakening portrays

In the novel, Morrison condemns the idea of living by one s perception of one s
value rather than through the truth, which leads to negative implications. Pauline
Breedlove creates an elaborate fantasy world, in which the household of her white

[smells] their linens, [touches] their silk draperies, and [loves] all of it (Morrison,

The way she refers to [her] floor...[her] floor...[her] floor (107), after her daughter
Pecola accidentally spills a tart at the Fishers house, implies that Pauline views that
household as a parallel reality, with the white girl as her daughter, and the clean
kitchen as her kitchen. Morrison depicts another illusion in which Pauline strives to
become a paragon of virtue by being an active church woman, [not] drinking,
smoking or carousing (128). She believes she [fulfills] a mother s role conscientiously
when she points out [the father s] faults to keep [the children] from having them

A common saying known throughout the business world, time is money , which
applies to every aspect of every work place, yet a something is missing from that
saying. The missing element is just how much your time is worth. Recently with new
raises in minimum wage the United States is taking steps to come more closely to the
equilibrium of how much employees should be paid.
With the many, many issues in the United States, most of the population seems to
drift towards one of two main political parties, the Republican and Democratic
Parties. With two sides comes two different approaches to issues. The Republican
Party is more supportive of the authority of the 50 States Governments, and a less
centralized U.S. federal government. Republicans support gun rights, religious
freedom, military and defense spending, tight immigration standards, and lower tax
rates for all Americans. Republicans are also less supportive of social welfare
programs, abortion, and are pro business and opposed to tight regulations on the
business sector and Wall Street, and supporters of free market, free enterprise

government sponsored public welfare programs such as social security,
unemployment programs, and food stamps. A highly regulated private sector

an individual must work a minimum of 35 hours per week under a head professional

3) Mallette also is considering pairing the MPCs up with professional staff at the
club the MPC is working at. This would have the same benefit of having
professionally certified MPCs, but there wouldn`t be the one on one aspect that
many club members enjoy and value. On the contrary, club members may be
comforted by having a member of their club`s professional staff present, it may

more questions after the MPC had left. The inconvenience in this scenario is that
Callaway would have to pay the club staff member as well as the MPC.

Philip Larkin s Talking in Bed
Philip Larkin s poem Talking in Bed tells the truth about life and how relationships
can slowly descend overtime. It explores the idea that no matter how close we are
to someone, we can still experience intense depths of loneliness. The language
emphasizes the feelings of what an empty marriage may feel like. The poem also
gives the impression it is from the male s perspective. It is written in four stanzas,
each with three lines of ten syllables apiece. This makes it a short lyrical ballad.
Through the tone, the language, and the imagery, Larkin is able to create a feeling in
which he can effectively criticize and deconstruct the subject of innocence in relation
to his current life experiences. There are many examples of imagery in this... Show

Although the lovers remain silent, The wind s incomplete unrest / Builds and
disperses clouds about the sky , which symbolizes first an eternal yearning for
something deeper than is there, and secondly a clouded, obscure vision of what this
something may be. The previously mentioned yearning is shown also by a definition
of clouds as a type of the fleeting or unsubstantial (Oxford English Dictionary).
Whatever it may be that is being searched for cannot be found by lying inert letting
time pass by. While this second stanza contemplates the apparently unattainable, the
final two seem to convey a feeling of hopelessness in knowing that the clouds may
never subside.
The third and fourth stanzas offer the poems greatest paradoxes. The author speaks of
the lovers being At this unique distance from isolation which is to say they are in the
one place where they can truly be themselves, in their natural habitat, doing that
which is only natural to human instinct. Despite these circumstances, however, the
two are at a loss: It becomes still more difficult to find / Words at once true and kind,
/ Or not untrue and not unkind. It is through this final stanza that the author conveys
the ultimate paradox of human relationships: Relationships are not built upon true
love for one another; rather they are built upon the absence of hatred.
How Does Temperature Affect The Rate Of Reaction
In experiment 2, temperature was the factor tested to see how it affected the rate of
reactions. Tweaking the method for the first experiment, the sodium thiosulphate
were in three different temperature; one was placed on a hotplate and heated, another
in an ice bath and the last was room temperature. This showed how the temperature of
the solution can be an important factor when investigating reaction rates.
Concentration of the reactants affects reaction rateby increasing the rate when the
concentration is also increased. According to the collision theory proposed by Max
Trautz in 1916 and William Lewis in 1918, for two molecules to react they must
first come into contact with each other, called a collision. The molecules are more
likely to collide if they... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore, it can be seen using the collision theory that the more concentrated the
reactants are, the more likely the molecules will collide and consequently speed up
the reaction rate. This has been justified in the experimental results, when the more
concentrated hydrochloric acid was, the faster the reaction rate. As shown in
Experiment 1, where three different concentrations of hydrochloric acid were used.
In Beaker 1, 0.5 M of hydrochloric acid was used, Beaker 2 was 1M, and in Beaker
3, 2M of hydrochloric acid was tested. It was shown in the experiment that the first
beaker of 0.5M HCl took the longest to go cloudy, around 44 seconds. Beaker 2 had
1M of HCl and took 38 seconds, which was approximately 6 seconds faster than
Beaker 1. In Beaker 3, 2M of HCl was added and it was the fastest of all three,
taking 33 seconds, which was 11 seconds faster than Beaker 1, and 5 seconds quicker
than Beaker 2. These results demonstrate that the concentration of the reactants does
affect reaction rate as it was shown that an increase in the concentration of HCl meant
that the reaction rate sped up, and vice

computer scientists care about more than just solving complex math problems.
They care about solving complex global problems like curing disease, identity
fraud, and getting people to Mars. World War 2 is where the field of Computer
Science made its first leap out of the shadows of Mathematics. It was thanks to the
military need to safely test new weapons of mass destruction with the use of
computer simulations that computers got their first push. The military s desire to
encrypt information that a team of humans could not decipher in a reasonable
amount of time also helped give rise to machines that could do more complex work
than a single human and complete them in faster times than a team of humans. It was
various world governments looking to save man power and resources that lead to
the shift toward machines, that would one day be computers, working for us. As
important as World War II was for the birth of
Essay on Deception in Shakespeare s Othello
Deception in Shakespeare s Othello
One may readily perceive the theme of Shakespeare s Othello as deception.
Deception appears many times in Othello, but in almost every incident the degree of
deception is different. Deception is to deceive another, illusion, or fraud (Webster s
New World Pocket Dictionary 69), which is seen as a wrongful act. However,
deception may be used to protect someone from getting hurt therefore being used with
good intentions. The very first act of deception is done by the character Desdemona.
Desdemona hides her relationship with Othello from her father, knowing he will
disapprove due to Othello s race. Brabantio says, O, she deceives me/Past thought!
(1.1.163 164). Desdemona s reasoning for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She tells him a flat out lie, but again, with good intentions. Desdemona loves
Othello and did not want him to get angry. She thought she had just misplaced the
handkerchief, and that she would soon find it, but if she told Othello she had lost
it, he would become furious. Not all acts of deception are done with intentions of
protecting one you love. The character who always had bad intentions in his
deception is Iago. Iago deceives many people in the play and can be compared to the
devil. One incident in which Iago deceives someone is when he tricks Othello into
thinking he is talking with Cassio about Desdemona, when he is actually talking
about Bianca. Iago: Ply Desdemona well and you are sure on t. Now if this suit lay
in Bianca s power, how quickly should you speed! Cassio: Alas, poor caitiff! Look,
how he [Othello] laughs already! (4.1.106 109) Iago told Othello that he would
discuss Desdemona with Cassio, and that he would talk about the affair. Iago does
not do this, and instead he talks about Bianca with Cassio, and Cassio laughs at
things Iago says. Othello sees Cassio laughing and just assumes he is laughing at
Desdemona, which in return upsets him very much. Iago used several tactics to set
up Othello for deception in this case. Though deception
Mechanical Engineering Vs. Aerospace Engineer
Oh no! Your house just got blown up by a rocket! Now that we are thinking about
it, have you ever wondered who made that rocket? Probably not because your house
was destroyed, but it is made by some very interesting people called mechanical
engineers and aerospace engineers. Mechanical engineers and aerospace engineers
are people who make very difficult technology. They each have different degrees,
salaries, work in their own environments, and a job outlook. So don t give them too
much trouble until you consider the education they had to get to get the job.
There are a lot of options for aerospace engineers when it comes to schooling. Even
though engineers have a lot of schooling options, there are a lot of things they need to

work in analysis and design (Careerprofiles.info, 2017). Doing what they do takes
time and effort. For aerospace engineers, they work a 40 hour job that usually
requires them to stay overtime (Careerprofiles.info, 2017 ; Bls.gov, 2017). For
mechanical engineers, they also work a 40 hour job that may require 1 in 3 people to

On Sat., Nov. 9, at Cumberland County Jail, he failed at using a bed sheet to hang
himself. A corrections officer witnessed the attempt. At 7:30 p.m., Gage stepped
out of his cell with a sheet tied around his neck and tied the sheet to a railing before
he jumped. The corrections officer was underneath Gage s cell at the time. Gage
fell to the floor after the sheet ripped and was then sent to Maine Medical Center
after minor injuries. Another recent bank robbery in New Hampshire included
Bradford Mullane of Nashua, N.H., who pled guilty at the United States District

Meaning Of Happiness
There s no question that everyone wants to be happy within their lives. The only
source of disagreement lies within how one achieves happiness and what happiness
really means. The authors within the book Pursuing Happiness have their own
meanings of happiness and what it takes to achieve happiness. Topics such as: what
happiness is, what brings happiness, what role does money play in happiness, etc. In
this first discussion, we see what the some of the authors have to say about the
meaning of happiness. Someone such as his Holinessthe Dalai Lamawould argue that
happiness is having peace and satisfaction within one s mind. As a tibetan monk, he
believe that happiness occurs within the self (Dalai Lama and Cutler 23). In contrast,
Thomas Jeffersonwould explain that happiness is actually the opportunity to freely
choose one s path within life. Freedom, in eyes, would be the embodiment of
freedom (Declaration of Independence). In would also argue that happiness stems
from the feeling of self worth, that you have a place within this world. As we see
here, the true meaning of happiness all depends on the person. There is no right or
wrong answer because we each perceive happiness in a different manner. This is
important because it also means that there are different opinions in which someone
can achieve happiness. When it comes to achieving happiness, there are two things to
consider; physical and spiritual. Some people believe that happiness can come from

My Dreams Of My Life
I grew up in a small southern town, so my parents have this image of what they
expect my life to be like. They expect their baby girl to go to college for teaching or
agriculture. They also expect that I will be stable enough to be on my own and
completely support myself by the age of twenty one. They even expect for me to
marry a country boy who can help out around home if need be. So far I have not
met their expectations at all, and they still manage to be proud of just about every
decision I make.
Although my parents wanted me to go to school for teaching or agriculture, I started
nursing school my senior year of high school. They didn t think that I would stick
with nursing so it was no big deal when I was sixteen or seventeen, and decided
that was the path I wanted to take with my life. A year after high school graduation
and I was 19 graduating with my LPN. My parents were way more proud of me
than I could have ever dreamed of. They brag to their friends to this day about all
the stress I got myself through and all of the hard work and dedication I had to put
in too accomplish this dream of mine. Not only did I accomplish one dream of
mine but I am going back to school full time to get my RN while working full time
in doctor s office, this makes their face light up every time they brag to their
friends or family about it. I may not be the a farmer like my parents wanted, but I
am a teacher in a certain way. I teach people how to take care of their wounds. I teach

The Real Irish Republican Army
RIRA: Description of group The Real Irish Republican Army (RIRA) is a splinter
group of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) that uses sabotage, subversion, and
guerilla warfare to express its opposition to the terms of the 1998 Good Friday
Agreement. This agreement basically recognized that the majority of the people
within Northern Irelandwished to remain a part of the United Kingdom. It also
recognized that a large section of the people of Northern Ireland, and the majority of
the people of the continent of Ireland wanted a united Ireland. For the most part, the
Good Friday Agreement brought an end to the struggle between unionists and
nationalists during the Troubles (an unconventional war spanning from 1968 1998 in
Northern Ireland between British security forces, republican and loyalist
paramilitaries, and civil rights groups). To understand how the RIRA came to be,
you have to know a little about the history of the IRA. Specifically, on how the
members regarded violence as a means to a unified Ireland without British
involvement. In December 1969, the IRA divided into Official and Provisional
wings. Both factions were committed to a united Irish republic, but the Officials
eschewed violence after 1972, whereas the Provisionals, or Provos, carried out
various attacks and assassinations, attempting to compel the British Armyto withdraw
from Northern Ireland. In the wake of the Bloody Sunday shootings by the British
military in January 1972, the Provos ranks
Chevy Agenda Setting Theory
Chevrolet Media Assessment The media plays a critical role in American societal
structure. Not only does the media attempt to inform the populous of current
affairs, as the fourth estate, the media serves as a form of checks and balances on
the political spectrum. It is worthy to note, the role media is given is a challenging
one. In general, the media is expected to inform the public of any information which
is pertinent or useful to the populous. However, defining exactly what topics, stories,
or events are the most critical to divulge to the public at large, also has the adverse
affect of shaping the social climate. Chevrolet In The Media Over the past year, the

Reputational risk. The article covered by The Chicago Tribune, poses great
repetitional risk to Chevy, while displaying agenda setting by the news source. The
article covers a small strike, involving only nine employee, at Al Piemonte

Book Of Sand Paradox
In the short story The Book of Sand by Jorge Luis Borges, the book is paradoxical. A
paradox is a statement that contradicts itself. It leads to a conclusion that is senseless
and self contradictory. When the main character is trying to get rid of the book he
realizes Somewhere I recalled reading that the best place to hide a leaf is in the forest
. This quote is paradoxical because a forest is full of leaves, it would be hard to hide
a leaf in a pile of leaves. But it is also the easiest place to hide a leaf. The book is the
same way, it would be hard to hide the book on a shelf full of books, but also very
easy. Especially this book, since it has such a great effect on whoever possesses it.

Genocide in Chile
ChileFrom 1973 1977, there was genocide in Chile. The targets were people who
believed in the communist government system. The start of it all began on September
11th, 1973 when Chilean commander in chief, Augusto Pinochet Ugarte commanded
the Chilean army and police force to overthrow the current president Salvador Allende
. The main reason for the overthrow was because of Allende s economic plan. With
it, inflation was rising 1% every day. The only reason the coup was successful at
overthrowing the government was because America backed them. With Pinochet in
power, his army removed everyone who they deemed the remotest rick to his new
military junta. He is accused of devising the worst concentration camp regime since

Those numbers show that this time period was genocide. People were disappearing ,
being tortured and killed just because they believed in a different type of political
system. An estimated 30,000 Chileans survived imprisonment and severe torture by
agents of Pinochet s secret police electric shock, beatings, near drowning, and rape in
secret detention facilities. During his seventeen year rule Chile became a pariah state,
internationally condemned for ongoing, systematic violations of human rights.
Pinochet played a leadership role in initiating and overseeing many of these
atrocities. One month after the coup, he authorized a death squad, led by his close
associate General Sergio Arellano, to expedite justice . Using a Puma helicopter, a
five member military team led by General Arellano flew to various northern cities
and, at each stop, selected prisoners and shot or bayoneted them in the middle of
the night. Over a period of four days, sixty eight civilians were killed, having
committed no crime other than serving in local community leadership roles under
the elected Allende government. This series of atrocities became known as the
Caravan of Death. All of this killing was mostly the work of the army s DirecciГіn de
Inteligencia Nacional (DINA). The DINA also killed someone here in the Unites
States. In September 1976, the DINA assassinated
Persuasive Essay On The Process Of Bathing Your Cat
While cats become aggressive when wet, general grooming is required to help keep
your cat s skin and fur in healthy peak condition because regular grooming keeps their
coats clean and skin healthy. many kittens are not able to keep themselves completely
clean despite their natural grooming instincts and their coats become greasy
.Overweight cats have a harder time reaching the furon their back, so it is often
matted and dry, which can lead to infections.
The first step to bathing your cat is to have the area where the bathing is to take
place in the best order it can be. This can mean just tidying up or moving
unnecessary objects out of the way. The area where you decide to bathe your cat
should be taken into thought. Bathtubs work the best, but if you do not own one
your kitchen or bathroom sink can also work. The water you use to bathe your cat
should be at least three inches in height, and luke warm so not to scold the cat, but
not cold because then the animal might go into shock. When choosing your soap
you need to be careful of what you use and to only use shampoo formulated for the
use of cats or non toxic dish soaps like Dawn. You should keep a towel at hand at
all times while bathing your cat. When rinsing your cat you can use a large bowl or
a cup to pour clean water over the animal.
Once you have your bathing area set up, the next step is the actual bathing of the cat,
the best way not to get scratched when giving your cat a bath is to grab it from

Modern Feminist Theory And Modern Feminist Theory
During the 18th century, Enlightenment ideas developed a political philosophy
grounded in the idea of the individual subject. Enlightenment notions of freedom and
choice inspired women to examine their position from a theoretical perspective for
the first time. Over time, women continued to theorize about their unique position,
created as a product of their gender, and used that theory to develop feminist
politics. The purpose of feminist theory is to understand the identity of women as
an oppressed group and examine the ways in which this identity is maintained and
can be changed. It includes a re examination of established norms in society and the
multiple forms of oppression that women face. The ultimate effect of creating such a
theory is a mode of politics that improves the status of women. In this paper, I will
specifically focus on modern feminist theory and politics rooted in the 1960s wave of
feminism. Through Simone de Beauvoirs The Second Sex, I will explicate the
foundational ideas of modern feminist theory. Then I will use The Combahee River
Collective in order to show that modern feminist theory must be intersectional in
order to serve its purpose. Finally, using Angela Davis Freedom is a Constant
Struggle, I will show some of the ways that a complete feminist theory can be used to
create feminist politics, politics that involves the abolition of prisons in America and
examining global systems of oppression.
In order to provide the foundation for feminist
E Commerce Is The Conduction Of Business And

TRACKING TECHNOLOGY; THE DEVELOPMENT AND PERSPECTIVES OF E
COMMERCE Tracking technology Name: Class: Date Institution: INTRODUCTION
E commerce is the conduction of business and commercial affairs through electronic
means. Electronic means ensure that companies are competitive and efficient in
terms of production. The high level of e commercein the current business
environment has not come instantaneously, but, there has been continual evolution.
The centre of this evolution is technological advancement and globalization, two
factors that have reduced the world to be in the form of a business village due to the
ease in which operations are done. A sense of enhanced competition exists between
various companies as they struggle to cope up with the high demands of the
technology era[ ]. This essay outlines the development and the perspectives of e
commerce.
Being a large topic, the evolution of e commerce is discussed as a component of the
disadvantages of e commerce. The use of the e commerce and e commerce selling
invention hit the internet marketing with a thud on its invention in the late 1990s with
its revolution of transforming the computer and internet industries. The use of the e
commerce came with several advantages that saw connections both in the internet and
intranet easier and transfer of files become much easier between and among foreign
businesses too but also came with disadvantage as it placed most businesses under
Magic In King Arthur
Magic is something everyone has heard of and yet most people don t believe. Its
presence is everywhere if you read a myth about something, chances are it s going to
have magic within the story. Why is that? Well, magic is something people can
describe something when they don t know how it works. To explain the
unexplainable. Magicis also a way for the story to create a visual inside the mythic
world of the hero s journey. In the story of King Arthur, a young 15 year old boy is
able to pull a sword out a rock nobody else could to become the next king. The
Sword trapped in the rock being magically sent from God to pick out the next great
leader of Britain. This magic provides an explanation to show how Arthur became
king. (King Arthur pg. 423 424). The magical element in a story is usually the
main conflict or the heroes saving in the myth without the magic the story would
be as good. People often told myths using gods and their magical powers or objects.
The ancient Greeks used magic to describe how the sun and moon went through
the sky. For the sun the Greeks believed Helios, one of the Titans, rode a magical
sun chariot across the sky each day. The sister of Helios, Selene would then drive a
magical chariot across the sky in the night with the moon (Helius, Selene). This
would help the Greeks understand of the sun rose and set they used magical beings
sometimes to provide an understanding of how things worked. In mythology people
often used magic to create a story to
Characterization And Internal Characterism In Kurt...
The world isn t perfect, true but it shouldn t have to be, we are humans and we make
mistakes. Sometimes we wish everything could be perfect, yet that may end up
making things worse. We shouldn t try to be perfect like Dr. Hitz thinks it should be.
We should just be thankful for what we have now. In 2BRO2B, Kurt Vonnegut
uses
characterization and internal conflictto stress the idea sometimes things aren t as
perfect as they seem. Kurt Vonnegut uses Characterization to develop the fact that
things aren t as perfect as they seem. He does this by mentioning different points of
views for different characters. He or she is going to live on a happy, roomy, clean,
rich planet, thanks to population control. Dr. Hitz says how good of a life Wehling s
childis going to live due to population control, this shows how he views population
control. Dr. Hitz believes that having set up the very first gas chamber for
population control is an accomplishment. Leora Duncan admires Dr. Hitz and that
s why she s beyond thankful to stand next to him in the portrait being painted of the
happy garden of life. This shows how some people feel about Dr. Hitz and honor
him for making the first gas chamber. Wehling, on the other hand, thinks it s wrong
when he has to pick which of his three children he wants to live because he only has
one volunteer to be executed in the gas chamber. All I have to do is pick out which
one of the triplets is going to live, then deliver my maternal grandfather to
Teenage Curfew For Teenagers
Many states are require a curfew for teenagers on weekdays and weekends. Many
students will say that having a curfew should be required because teenagers are
walking the street and could get kidnapped, teenagers would be at a higher risk of
having an accident behind the wheel while driving, and it gives teenagers the
privilege to learn responsibilities. There are many reasons why teenagers should have
a curfew.
There is many nights you will see kids or teens walking the streets at night. Would
you let your child walk around at night? Teens shouldn t be out late at night due to
safety. Having your teen rome the streets at night could put them at a risk of
danger. At any time during the night they could be taken by a stranger. There are
enough crazy people out there that wouldn t mind taking your child from you.
Someone could easily pick the kid up off the street without anyone knowing. Your
child without any parental supervision walking the streets is a great opportunity
for anyone to snatch them up. Allowing your child to walk the streets at night
could possibly put them at risk of getting hit by a vehicle too. Drivers at night don t
always see what is ahead of them. Just simply walking down the road could be the
last time you saw your kid. Do us all a favor and get your child in by curfew.
Most teens these days are wild and out of hand. They go out partying, do drugs,
and go to places they really shouldn t be. Teens will lie to their own parents about
what they are doing or where they are just to continue. By sixteen most of them get
their license. Being an inexperienced driver driving at night isn t the best idea.
Many teen drivers always have a passenger with them, probably another teen,
during any situation. So driving at night could have quite a bit of distractions
especially considering more than half of teens use their phones while driving.
Driving at night comes with a few responsibilities too. Some people walk at night,
wild animals are out at night, you always have to watch for other cars, and their is a
high risk you could fall asleep behind the wheel. Because teens don t get enough
sleep, many have sleep deprivation. Not getting enough sleep is a chance of someone
falling asleep behind the

  • 2. Paquackaway State Park Research Paper It only happens once a year. Our annual fall camping trip to Pawtuckaway State Park, one of the best nature gateways specifically to observe spectacular fall foliage. A lot of people are timid by a thought of taking a camping trip that late in the season at the end of October when the temperature at night falls to smoldering thirty degrees and only a thin layer of a polyester fabric of a tent to keep you sheltered from the cold temperatures, wilderness and the elements. It does seem a little extreme, but I absolutely love it and it s the event I wait for the whole year. We set on our journey early Saturday morning. The park is situated in the state of New Hampshire, a short drive up north. A vigorous smell of pine trees slipped in through... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We are finally here. First, we check in at the camp office, we had online reservations for a specific site, so the registration went with ease. Then we stock up on firewood purchasing five bundles. Being somewhat of a regular here we know exactly how to get to our destination campground. We drove on a narrow, winding dirt road, the gravel under the tires made a popping sound to our site and the drive was gorgeous fall foliage at its best. A coating of vibrant red, yellow, and orange covers the terrain. Panoramic views of the sprawling Pawtackaway lake are breathtaking to witness. Wooded campgrounds line the shore of the lake and most of them come with a private view of the water. You get the feeling of being secluded in forest and lake environment with a relaxing and picturesque atmosphere. The lake is spotted with numerous various size islands mainly created from post glacier rock formations. Much of the topography is boulder spawn giving it a New Hampshire mountain feel. There actually is a small mountain you can hike. Hiking trails overlooking the rim of the rambling lake. There is a no better place to escape to the great
  • 3. When Lightning Strikes An Unprotected Home Many people regard the chances of their home getting struck by lightning as highly unlikely. This may be true, but it depends on your circumstances. If your house is on a hill, in an open area, or has tall trees next to it, then a lightning strike is a greater possibility. Another risk factor is geographic location, and it doesn t help that our beautiful state of Florida has the highest incidence of lightning activity in the United States. We also rank as the fourth most lightning prone area on earth. When lightning strikes an unprotected home, it may cause a fire or even make the wood structure explode when the lightning bolt instantly vaporizes moisture in the wood. While the probability of your home getting hit by lightning is low, the consequences can be high such as structural damage or a house fire. Another risk is damage to expensive electronic items in your home such as computers, home entertainment systems, and security systems. The value of these items can range from thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars and this doesn t include the value of personal and business data stored in computers.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The lightning only has to strike outside power and telephone lines which provide an electrical path to your home s electronics. Power and phone lines are often elevated high off the ground and have extensive exposed networks. Lightning can also find other pathways to your electronics such as through an external air conditioning unit, external lightning, and security systems. Anything in your yard that s electrically connected to your house is a possible pathway. Of course, a direct hit to your house may also damage your electronics since the current can follow your home s electrical systems. As your house insurance agency, we would like to share these tips on protecting your

  • 5. Manipulation In A Rose For Emily A Rose for Freedom A Rose for Emily written by William Faulkner, symbolizes so much more than what is said in the text. William Faulkner sets an intense mood at the beginning of the story when announcing the death of Miss Emily Grierson. Not many stories start off with death, but in this case, Emily s death is a very important key point to the story. The narrator manipulates time in the way he tells the story. The narrator starts off with with Emily s death and continues the story with the past, the late past, and the past past. This time manipulation is very important to set the themes of the story. There is not one specific theme, but actually a variety. For example, the time manipulation by confusing the reader with the past and the present. Another example is the loneliness ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The fact that Emily buys a man s toilet set and a complete outfit of men s clothing, including a nightshirt, symbolizes that Emily truly cared about Homer. Emily uses these things to set up a decked room as for a bridal in her house, and sets homer s body in a bed. Homer s body was lain in the attitude of an embrace and next to him was a pillow with the indentation of a head. This symbolizes that Emily slept with Homer every night. The biggest clue of all, was the iron grey hair they found on the bed, which was Emily s. Emily symbolizes the old South because she resists change in the way that, as she got older, and the world around her changed, she latches on to her traditions. The rose in The Rose for Emily symbolizes the true love which Miss Emily never experienced. The house is a huge symbolism of Emily s isolation because that was all she had, and all her father left her. It also symbolizes the decaying South and at the end of the story, the house, like Miss Emily, has become
  • 6. The Dangers Of Being A Homeschool Family Being a homeschool family has many joys, but it also has its challenges. One of those challenges is maintaining wellness. As homeschooling parents we start homeschooling for many reasons, but our main goal is always to provide our children with opportunities that will equip them to be successful in life. But that harmless goal can quickly lead to an obsession that will suck the life out of you, your marriage, and your family. The obsession may manifest itself as a preoccupation with curriculum, agonizing over your child s lack of comprehension, or feeling like a failure because your children are not following directions and giving you a hard time. You may be hiding in your bathroom because your house is a mess and the kids have found all of the food, devoured it, and are still looking for more even though dinner time is four hours away and bedtime is still farther. The many difficulties of having your work constantly at home is enough to drive you to the edge of the world. You know something is amiss, you re not feeling well , but you continue on, hoping something will just click so that you can feel well again. Yet wellness is a vague term. You understand that you should look after your wellbeing. But you often don t know what that entails nor where to start. And it is hard to focus on your own wellness when you have your family s needs to meet. Wellness is about your emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Most of the time we tackle these

We can own many intangible and tangible items in life, but how does ownership relate to a sense and development of self? This question has been constantly answered for centuries through intelligent people like Plato, Aristotle, and Jean Paul Sartre. However, the question has received no agreeable answer. In the end, people will agree that there is a strong and positive relationship between ownership and a sense of selfbecause the things you own will define and develop who you are positively by exhibiting what you like, what you can and cannot do, and in the end, characterizes you, as long as you use the things you own properly. Jean Paul Sartre argues that intangible items such as skill and knowledge is something that we own and defines who we are, since acquiring skill and knowledge makes us better in different aspects of life. He also argues the tangible aspects of life that we own also defines us. By saying this, Sartre is agreeing that when we own something such as knowledge, it will shape our sense of selfand identity since it makes us a better person when we use our own knowledge to benefit our own selves and others, thus showing a strong and positive relationship between ownership and sense of self and identity. Aristotle would also agree with both Jean Paul Sartre and the statement that the relationship between ownership and sense of self is strong and positive

From this perspective, The Jungle is not considered quality literature. He was not thought to write nonfiction, so his words could not always be trusted. For these reasons, Sinclair was not considered a serious author. Sinclair was an expressive socialist, and showed his beliefs in his novels. In The Jungle, Sinclair frequently referenced socialism and how it would fix all the problems created through capitalism. Capitalism is not the problem.

Morrison indicates that Pauline [looks] at their houses, [smells] their linens, [touches] their silk draperies, and [loves] all of it (Morrison, 127), to suggest that Pauline has formed an attachment to what she believes is hers. The way she refers to [her] floor...[her] floor...[her] floor (107), after her daughter Pecola accidentally spills a tart at the Fishers house, implies that Pauline views that household as a parallel reality, with the white girl as her daughter, and the clean kitchen as her kitchen. Morrison depicts another illusion in which Pauline strives to become a paragon of virtue by being an active church woman, [not] drinking, smoking or carousing (128). She believes she [fulfills] a mother s role conscientiously when she points out [the father s] faults to keep [the children] from having them (129). But in reality, Pauline fails to embody that role, often neglecting her house, her children, her man (127) and fighting [her husband] with a darkly brutal formalism (43). Morrison s depiction of Pauline s delusive mindset consequently leads to harmful effects, like the emotional abandonment of her family. Her

Tweaking the method for the first experiment, the sodium thiosulphate were in three different temperature; one was placed on a hotplate and heated, another in an ice bath and the last was room temperature. This showed how the temperature of the solution can be an important factor when investigating reaction rates. Concentration of the reactants affects reaction rateby increasing the rate when the concentration is also increased. Therefore, it can be seen using the collision theory that the more concentrated the reactants are, the more likely the molecules will collide and consequently speed up the reaction rate. This has been justified in the experimental results, when the more concentrated hydrochloric acid was, the faster the reaction rate. As shown in Experiment 1, where three different concentrations of hydrochloric acid were used. In Beaker 1, 0.5 M of hydrochloric acid was used, Beaker 2 was 1M, and in Beaker 3, 2M of hydrochloric acid was tested. It was shown in the experiment that the first beaker of 0.5M HCl took the longest to go cloudy, around 44 seconds. Beaker 2 had 1M of HCl and took 38 seconds, which was approximately 6 seconds faster than Beaker 1. In Beaker 3, 2M of HCl was added and it was the fastest of all three, taking 33 seconds, which was 11 seconds faster than Beaker 1, and 5 seconds quicker than Beaker 2. These results demonstrate that the concentration of the reactants does affect reaction rate as it was shown that an increase in the concentration of HCl meant that the reaction rate sped up, and vice

The book is the same way, it would be hard to hide the book on a shelf full of books, but also very easy. Especially this book, since it has such a great effect on whoever possesses it. When the book salesman describes the indian
  • 50. Genocide in Chile ChileFrom 1973 1977, there was genocide in Chile. The targets were people who believed in the communist government system. The start of it all began on September 11th, 1973 when Chilean commander in chief, Augusto Pinochet Ugarte commanded the Chilean army and police force to overthrow the current president Salvador Allende . The main reason for the overthrow was because of Allende s economic plan. With it, inflation was rising 1% every day. The only reason the coup was successful at overthrowing the government was because America backed them. With Pinochet in power, his army removed everyone who they deemed the remotest rick to his new military junta. He is accused of devising the worst concentration camp regime since Hitler s grand... During his seventeen year rule Chile became a pariah state, internationally condemned for ongoing, systematic violations of human rights. Pinochet played a leadership role in initiating and overseeing many of these atrocities. One month after the coup, he authorized a death squad, led by his close associate General Sergio Arellano, to expedite justice . Using a Puma helicopter, a five member military team led by General Arellano flew to various northern cities and, at each stop, selected prisoners and shot or bayoneted them in the middle of the night. Over a period of four days, sixty eight civilians were killed, having committed no crime other than serving in local community leadership roles under the elected Allende government. This series of atrocities became known as the Caravan of Death. All of this killing was mostly the work of the army s DirecciГіn de Inteligencia Nacional (DINA). The DINA also killed someone here in the Unites States. In September 1976, the DINA assassinated
  • 51. Persuasive Essay On The Process Of Bathing Your Cat While cats become aggressive when wet, general grooming is required to help keep your cat s skin and fur in healthy peak condition because regular grooming keeps their coats clean and skin healthy. many kittens are not able to keep themselves completely clean despite their natural grooming instincts and their coats become greasy .Overweight cats have a harder time reaching the furon their back, so it is often matted and dry, which can lead to infections. The first step to bathing your cat is to have the area where the bathing is to take place in the best order it can be. This can mean just tidying up or moving unnecessary objects out of the way. The area where you decide to bathe your cat should be taken into thought. Bathtubs work the best, but if you do not own one your kitchen or bathroom sink can also work. The water you use to bathe your cat should be at least three inches in height, and luke warm so not to scold the cat, but not cold because then the animal might go into shock. When choosing your soap you need to be careful of what you use and to only use shampoo formulated for the use of cats or non toxic dish soaps like Dawn. You should keep a towel at hand at all times while bathing your cat. When rinsing your cat you can use a large bowl or a cup to pour clean water over the animal. Once you have your bathing area set up, the next step is the actual bathing of the cat, the best way not to get scratched when giving your cat a bath is to grab it from behind by the
  • 52. Modern Feminist Theory And Modern Feminist Theory During the 18th century, Enlightenment ideas developed a political philosophy grounded in the idea of the individual subject. Enlightenment notions of freedom and choice inspired women to examine their position from a theoretical perspective for the first time. Over time, women continued to theorize about their unique position, created as a product of their gender, and used that theory to develop feminist politics. The purpose of feminist theory is to understand the identity of women as an oppressed group and examine the ways in which this identity is maintained and can be changed. It includes a re examination of established norms in society and the multiple forms of oppression that women face. The ultimate effect of creating such a theory is a mode of politics that improves the status of women. In this paper, I will specifically focus on modern feminist theory and politics rooted in the 1960s wave of feminism. Through Simone de Beauvoirs The Second Sex, I will explicate the foundational ideas of modern feminist theory. Then I will use The Combahee River Collective in order to show that modern feminist theory must be intersectional in order to serve its purpose. Finally, using Angela Davis Freedom is a Constant Struggle, I will show some of the ways that a complete feminist theory can be used to create feminist politics, politics that involves the abolition of prisons in America and examining global systems of oppression. In order to provide the foundation for feminist

Its presence is everywhere if you read a myth about something, chances are it s going to have magic within the story. Why is that? Well, magic is something people can describe something when they don t know how it works. To explain the unexplainable. In the story of King Arthur, a young 15 year old boy is able to pull a sword out a rock nobody else could to become the next king. The Sword trapped in the rock being magically sent from God to pick out the next great leader of Britain. This magic provides an explanation to show how Arthur became king. (King Arthur pg. 423 424). The magical element in a story is usually the main conflict or the heroes saving in the myth without the magic the story would be as good. People often told myths using gods and their magical powers or objects. The ancient Greeks used magic to describe how the sun and moon went through the sky. • 55. Characterization And Internal Characterism In Kurt... The world isn t perfect, true but it shouldn t have to be, we are humans and we make mistakes. Sometimes we wish everything could be perfect, yet that may end up making things worse. We shouldn t try to be perfect like Dr. Hitz thinks it should be. We should just be thankful for what we have now. In 2BRO2B, Kurt Vonnegut uses characterization and internal conflictto stress the idea sometimes things aren t as perfect as they seem. Kurt Vonnegut uses Characterization to develop the fact that things aren t as perfect as they seem. He does this by mentioning different points of views for different characters. He or she is going to live on a happy, roomy, clean, rich planet, thanks to population control. Dr. Hitz says how good of a life Wehling s childis going to live due to population control, this shows how he views population control. Dr. Hitz believes that having set up the very first gas chamber for population control is an accomplishment. Leora Duncan admires Dr. Hitz and that s why she s beyond thankful to stand next to him in the portrait being painted of the happy garden of life. This shows how some people feel about Dr. Hitz and honor him for making the first gas chamber. Wehling, on the other hand, thinks it s wrong when he has to pick which of his three children he wants to live because he only has one volunteer to be executed in the gas chamber. All I have to do is pick out which one of the triplets is going to live, then deliver my maternal grandfather to
  • 56. Teenage Curfew For Teenagers Many states are require a curfew for teenagers on weekdays and weekends. Many students will say that having a curfew should be required because teenagers are walking the street and could get kidnapped, teenagers would be at a higher risk of having an accident behind the wheel while driving, and it gives teenagers the privilege to learn responsibilities. There are many reasons why teenagers should have a curfew. There is many nights you will see kids or teens walking the streets at night. Would you let your child walk around at night? Teens shouldn t be out late at night due to safety. Having your teen rome the streets at night could put them at a risk of danger. At any time during the night they could be taken by a stranger. There are enough crazy people out there that wouldn t mind taking your child from you. Someone could easily pick the kid up off the street without anyone knowing. Your child without any parental supervision walking the streets is a great opportunity for anyone to snatch them up. Allowing your child to walk the streets at night could possibly put them at risk of getting hit by a vehicle too. Drivers at night don t always see what is ahead of them. Just simply walking down the road could be the last time you saw your kid. Do us all a favor and get your child in by curfew. Most teens these days are wild and out of hand. They go out partying, do drugs, and go to places they really shouldn t be. Teens will lie to their own parents about what they are doing or where they are just to continue. By sixteen most of them get their license. Being an inexperienced driver driving at night isn t the best idea. Many teen drivers always have a passenger with them, probably another teen, during any situation. So driving at night could have quite a bit of distractions especially considering more than half of teens use their phones while driving. Driving at night comes with a few responsibilities too. Some people walk at night, wild animals are out at night, you always have to watch for other cars, and their is a high risk you could fall asleep behind the wheel. Because teens don t get enough sleep, many have sleep deprivation. Not getting enough sleep is a chance of someone falling asleep behind the
