The organization we will be working for to organize and implement their network
structure is called Learning Beyond. It is a small educational program that students
can attend after school in place of the after school child care. It provides a fun

Reflection: A case study of a highly effective, inclusive elementary school The article
gave me a better understanding on methods I can implement that my special education
students receive learning experiences which will assist them in being successful
throughout school. I feel as though the six positions which were addressed have the
potential to allow all students to be successful in all educators and administrators
attempt to implement them. As a current educator I have experience first hand the
power of setting and maintaining high expectations for all students. It has been noted
in my experience that students will rise to the level of expectation which is set upon
them. Educators must consciously and consistently encourage student to reach their
highest potential and beyond. Educators must provide confidence and a means to
succeed to enhance all student self efficacy which will in turn aid in students overall
success. The information within this article give me a more concrete understanding
of the Georgia Department of Education s Teacher Keys Effective System Standard 9
which calls for a positive learning environment centered around high expectations,
care, and respect for all students (GaDOE, 2017). Also agree with the notion that data
should be used to drive instruction. I believe that is is important to have statistical
basis for each implemented strategy, activity, or resource. It does no benefit to the

Tuesdays with Morrie
The setting is late of 1979. A young boy visits with an elderly man every Tuesday
to be enlightened on the meaning of life. His name is Mitchell, but friends call
him ?Mitch.? The greatest lesson of life is life. Professor Morrie Schwartz is a
special teacher, not only is he an instructor, but a mentor and a friend. He is a small
elderly man with thin gray hair who dresses casual in old gray sweatshirts. Morrie
was a dancer and also a prominent doctor of sociology. He was forced to give up his
dancing career due to asthma in his 60?s. His health was slipping. After many tests,
he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as (ALS,) in 1994,

Morrie began to become depressed and was writing bite sized philosophies
everywhere. ?Accept what you are able to do and what you are not able to do.?
One of his ?aphorisms? was shared with a friend, professor Maurie Stein, who sent
it to a Boston Globe reporter. Morrie was receiving many media releases. After
hearing Morrie?s name on the television, Mitch decides to go visit him. They give
each other a big hug when they reunite. ?You?ve come back at last,? Morrie
whispered to Mitch. After that visit, Mitch decides to visit with him every
Tuesday. It?s Tuesday and Mitch is sitting in a diner with his ?coach,? Morrie.
That was a nickname Mitch gave to him. They were eating lunch and Mitch
noticed how long it took Morrie to eat, even small bites. Morrie is dieing. Morrie
says that people should feel good about themselves because culture makes them
feel bad. People shouldn?t care about other people?s negative opinions. Morrie
does not care about what other people may think about him because loving and
caring people surround him. Mitch was reporting at the Wimbledon tennis match
and acknowledged people appearing to be stuck in other peoples businesses. There
was a newspaper stand a bit down from where Morrie was at and the talk of the
conversation was over Princess Diana. Mitch thinks of Morrie whenever he reads
