resumed its traditional mix of content. The magazine also has political stories throughout
it along with coverage of financial and banking issues. The Rolling Stone magazine
covers all the different genres of music as every two weeks when its published there are
different images of different music artists who produce different genres of music. For
example they had Eminem on the front cover. Eminem’s genre of music is rap. However,
Lana Del Rey had also featured on the Rolling Stone front cover and her genre of music
is indie pop. Therefore, this conveys that the Rolling Stone magazine appeals to a wider
mainstream audience as you can tell from the different artists portrayed on the front
cover each time of its release. As different images of different artists are put onto the
front covers, this represents a variety of groups depending on what genre of music they
are interested in. Furthermore, the Rolling Stone magazine also have information on
politics. This therefore indicates that a wider audience is brought in to this magazine as
their are other aspects of the magazine that other people are able to enjoy.
