cStock: A simple, affordable mHealth solution for improving visibility of com...JSI
An assessment conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Health in Malawi in 2010 by the Supply Chains for Community Case Management project (SC4CCM), managed by JSI with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, showed only 27% of CHWs on the day of the survey had the medicines needed to treat all three targeted childhood illnesses that they were trained to treat – diarrhea, malaria and pneumonia. At the same time, central and district level managers had little access to community logistics data as only 43% of community health workers (CHWs) reported this data to their resupply health center, and little to none of that data reached district or national levels. With 94% of CHWs owning simple mobile phones, the project chose to design and implement an mHealth solution that was simple, affordable, interoperable and could be sustained by the country. Eighteen months after implementation a mixed-methods evaluation of the intervention was conducted. The evaluation found cStock: 1) improved visibility into stock data (reporting rates now above 80%); 2) was now a primary means for CHWs to order medicines (93% use cStock instead of other forms); 3) saved significant time in CHWs’ submitting reports (99% of CHWs); and 4) yielded data that was used by district coordinators for planning and coordinating. cStock has now been scaled up to 15 of the 30 districts in Malawi and has proven to be an affordable and effective way to improve data visibility: an important step in paving the way for supply chain integration. As one CHW said about cStock “the report goes the fastest and gets me the supplies I need in time”.

SC4CCM: Lessons from quality collaboratives for community level supply chains JSI
The Supply Chains for Community Case Management project (SC4CCM), managed by JSI with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, partnered with three district health teams in Rwanda to implement Supply Chain Quality Improvement Collaboratives (QCs), establishing and training a network of 44 Quality Improvement Teams (QITs). Teams comprised CHWs and health center staff who identified team-led solutions for improving community resupply procedures. The QITs used a systematic approach to identify key challenges, set targets, and test their own innovations to address performance gaps. The approach aimed to generate best practices using a continuous plan-study-do-act cycle of assessment and improvement.

Magpi AEA - Using Mobile Data Capture for Community and Facility Surveys in M...JSI
The Improving Supply Chains for Community Case Management of Pneumonia and Other Common Diseases of Childhood (SC4CCM) project, managed by JSI with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, conducted a midline assessment in January 2013 using Nokia e71 and e63 mobile phones in 10 districts of Malawi.
The survey used mobile data entry forms on the DataDyne Magpi platform to conduct interviews, observe storage conditions, assess stock status of medicines, and tally service statistics at various levels of the supply chain.
Mobile data capture using Magpi proved very successful for a survey of this size. Software enabled immediate data transmission to the web-based database, reducing data entry time and improving fieldwork through remote supervision to deployed teams. Upfront programming and editing of forms were streamlined and functionality of skips improved from the project’s experience with Episurveyor, the previous version of the mobile data collection program.

HealthTech is at the forefront of startups and scaleups, in the United States as well as in Europe. There is no single European healthcare system or market. Instead, high complexity and cultural diversity of healthcare systems makes it challenging to jump into multiple markets and thus to scaleup new companies. But if you take a close look, you’ll quickly notice that there is interesting stuff happening in Europe
With this report we want to provide a comprehensive review of investment in startups and high-growth HealthTech technology companies across 31 countries in Europe. Our aim is to provide data-driven guidance, insights, perspective and inspiration to stakeholders in the European scaleup ecosystem.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.
