2. Character 1 – Kailum playing Rico
Kailum is a drama student who studies the
subject of drama as well as media. He has
experience in acting along with our other
actors that we have picked to act in our short
film. Kailum is also a member in our group
which means that he is committed to the
project and will be available whenever we
need him to act. He also does drama with
one of our female actors which means that
he knows how to work with her and they will
work well between themselves. Kailum is
also great at improvising so if there are any
scenes that aren’t going to plan, he will do
great in carrying on by using his initiative.
3. Character 2 – Jordan playing Rico
We picked Jordan to play one of our characters
because he has a past in drama which means
that he has experience in acting, and we
wanted to make sure that we had good actors
so that our acting looks professional. We also
picked him because his timetable suited ours
which means that he will be available to film
when we need him to, this is vital so that we use
all the filming time available to us in order to
perfects our scenes and re-film any that we
need to. Jordan also has a good relationship
with Kailum who is another actor in our film
which means that they will have a natural
chemistry. Jordan also has the look that we
want our character of Rico to have.
4. Character 3 – Lina playing Lina
We chose Lina to play a character in our film
because she has a passion for acting. Lina also
has similarities in real life with the character in
our short film so we think that she would be
perfect in playing her role. Lina also has the
aesthetic features that we want within our female
characters. I have also seen Lina work well
under pressure which I think is essential as at
times filming can get quite hectic and stressful, I
believe she will stay calm and hold her role
confidently in order to make the filming process
smooth and easy going.
5. Character 4 – Sophie playing Sophie
Sophie is also a drama student who has
experience in acting so she will play the role
perfectly. She also has fantastic time
management skills so I know that when it
comes down to filming she will always be on
time and wont let us down. Sophie also fits
the characteristics of the character she is
playing as she has played a similar role
before, this means that she has experience
in this type of character and therefore will
play the role appropriately.
