An old fisherman catches a magical gold fish that offers him a wish in exchange for its freedom. The fisherman wishes for whatever his wife desires. His wife's wishes escalate from a new home, to a palace, to becoming queen, and finally queen of the seas living in the ocean. When the fisherman makes the final wish, the gold fish disappears, leaving the fisherman and his wife back in their poor cottage with nothing. The story teaches that being greedy and asking for too much can result in losing everything.

2. An old man and his wife lived in a small cottage near
the ocean. They were poor. The old man was a
fisherman.

3. One day he caught one fish in his nets. It was not an
ordinary fish. It was a gold fish. The fish told him :
"Please, let me go, in exchange I will give you
whatever you wish." The old fisherman gave her
freedom to fish and he went back home.

4. The old fisherman told the adventure to his wife.
"Poor fool" she said "go back to the ocean and ask for
a new home"

is furious, she wants a new home."
"Do not worry" said the fish "go home and you will
find what you asked me".

The fish did not answer. He went away in the depths
of the see and disapeared forever.
