Many look out longingly toward another life, in
which they implicitly believe, yet of which they
can know nothing save in the dimmest, most
shadowy way. Loved ones are taken from them
into that strange land, and they long then more
than ever to know about the country that is the
new home of their friends — its beauty, its joys,
its fellowships, its occupations. The Bible does
not lift the veil, but it gives many glimpses of the
heavenly life. It is the purpose of this little book
to note some of these glimpses.
These daily readings are designed to help you understand the teachings of the Bible in its original cultural context & will help bring Scripture to life by providing a fresh understanding to familiar passages.
This 21-day reading plan is built from the NIV First-Century Study Bible by Zondervan.
What about Adam and Eve
The origin of life and more specifically the origin of man is one of the big questions in science, philosophy and theology that continuously attracts attention of all of us. To know the roots of one’s own existence and related to it one’s destiny is not just an academic question. It is also related to the meaning and the quest for happiness and fulfilment in our existence.
We have the contribution of natural sciences, but also the Judeo-Christian tradition, the Bible, and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
In this presentation an attempt is made harmonize the different contributions in a consistent picture. This is based on the convincement that truth, also in this question, can only be one.
The presentation consists of:
I. Introduction
II. What do we know about Adam &Eve (with emphasis on the first book of the Bible: Genesis)
III. What do we know from science?
In this part extensive use is made of a presentation of Richard Durbin: On the polygenic origin of humanity
IV. What does the Catholic Church tell us?
V. Conclusions
This is the second version, presented at Pedralbes, Barcelona, January 2016.
MY apology for adding another book of conso-
lation to the number of like publications,
and of imitating such models as have before found
favor with the sorrowing, is twofold.
First, the wealth of such literature ever increases,
and, like the ripe harvest, ought to be gathered,
even though the granary seem already quite full.
Second, an important part of every true pastor's
labor is to comfort those that mourn. It is with
the devout hope that among the varied selections
here offered ministers may find some aid in cheering
the sorrowing that this little volume is sent forth.

Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
As Good and Faithful Stewards we have to be Grateful, Responsible and Generous with All GOD has Entrusted to US.

I think we are all missing a vital piece of information when we study the scriptures, and back tracking on my studies , I began to read about the Seed, as in Seeds, throught the History of scriptures, the theme of two offspring has occurred, from Qayin and Hebel, Yitzhak and Y’shmael, Esau and Yaccob , twins have prevailed,
Yet YHWH speaks through ABRAHAM one seed through YITZAK and YACOOB
Many times, we read of the sons of man, and of mankind

Bible Readings for Module/Week 2
Parable of the Wheat and Tares
Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
"The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?'
"'An enemy did this,' he replied.
"The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?'
"'No,' he answered, 'because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'" (Matthew 13:24–30)
Knowledge and wisdom
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (Proverbs 1:7)
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise. (Psalm 111:10)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil. (Proverbs 3:3–7)
Problem with the World (Sin)
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12)
As it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one.” (Romans 3:10)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
Strength
Strength in God, Not in Man
For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength. (I Corinthians 1:25)
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)
God Demonstrates His Strength in Our Weakness
Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are. (I Corinthians 1:26–28)
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (II Corinthians 12:9–11)
The Strong are to Help the Weak
We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. ...

When Jesus was leaving he said "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."
And in Actes 1:8 it is written
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

2. THE POINT
GOD HAS PUT A GREAT POTENTIAL IN EVERY CREATURE. EVERYTHING THAT GOD
HAS CREATED HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CREATE. GOD HAS PUT IN EVERY CREATURE,
THE CREATING POWER. GENESIS 1 REVEALS TO US THAT APART FROM THE HEAVENS
AND THE EARTH AND MAN THAT GOD HAD DIRECTLY CREATED, THE REST OF
CREATION CAME FROM WHAT GOD HAD ALREADY CREATED. THOUGH EVERYTHING
IS CREDITED AS BEING DIRECTLY CREATED BY GOD. THE READING OF GENESIS 1
SHOWS CLEARLY THAT SOME CREATURES CAME FROM FORMER CREATED THINGS AT
THE COMMAND OF GOD. THE MESSAGE OF GOD IN THE ACCOUNT OF CREATION IS
CLEAR. WHAT IS CREATED MUST CREATE. IT MUST PRODUCE. IT IS THE WILL OF GOD
FOR THE LAND TO PRODUCE, IT IS THE WILL OF GOD FOR THE SEA TO PRODUCE, IT IS
THE WILL OF GOD FOR TREES AND ANIMALS PRODUCED BY THE LAND TO PRODUCE.
IT IS THE WILL OF GOD FOR MAN TO PRODUCE OTHER MEN. GOD CREATED
WHATEVER HE CREATED SO THAT IT WILL CREATE. GOD SAVED WHOEVER HE SAVED
SO THAT (S)HE WILL BEAR (PRODUCE) FRUIT. GOD HAS DECIDED TO MULTIPLY US AS
INDIVIDUALS AND AS A CHURCH AND HE WILL DO THAT THROUGH YOU FOR
YOURSELF AND THROUGH US FOR THE CHURCH. AMEN.
3. Mark 11:12-14
“12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany,
Jesus was hungry.
13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he
went to find out if it had any fruit. When he
reached it, he found nothing but leaves,
because it was not the season for figs.
14 Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever
eat fruit from you again." And his disciples
heard him say it.”
4. THE VISIBLE IMAGE OF THE INVIBLE GOD
JESUS CAME ON EARTH TO REVEAL THE GLORY
OF GOD. HE CAME TO MANIFEST IN HIS LIVING
PERSONALITY THE FULL NATURE OF GOD THE
FATHER.
WE WILL REMEMBER THAT GOD IS THE
EMBODIMENT OF LOVE AND THAT
THROUGHOUT THE SCRIPTURES JESUS WAS
JUST LOVE INCARNATED.
5. LOVE INCARNATED
THE SUMMARY REPORT OF THE LIFE OF JESUS
IN JESUS IS CLEAR AND SIMPLE IN JOHN 13:
“It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus
knew that the time had come for him to leave
this world and go to the Father. Having loved
his own who were in the world, he now
showed them the full extent of his love.”
6. LOVE PROVED
HE FED ALL WHO WERE HUNGRY
HE HEALED ALL WHO WERE SICK
HE DELIVERED ALL WHO WERE DEMON POSSESSED
HE COMFORTED ALL WHO WERE IN PAIN
HE FINALLY TOOK OUR SINS TO SAVE US FROM
ETERNAL PUNISHMENT
HE REFUSED TO JUDGE ANY OF US AND TO CONDEMN
ANY OF US. HE SAID PLAINLY I CAME TO SAVE AND TO
GIVE LIFE. ANY ONE WHO IS TIRED SHOULD JUST COME
TO ME AND I WILL GIVE HIM RELIEF.
7. THE RARE MOMENTS OF ANGER
WHEN PETER PREVENTED HIM TO GO THE
JERUSALEM TO DIE.
WITH THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS FOR THEIR
HYPOCRISIY
WHEN THE TEMPLE OF GOD WAS
TRANSFORMED INTO A MARKET PLACE
AND THEN HERE WHEN THE TREE HAD NO
FRUIT PRODUCED
8. THE VIOLENT REACTION OF JESUS
JESUS WAS HUNGRY, HE WANTED FRUITS BUT
THE TREE HAD NO FRUITS BECAUSE IT HAD NOT
PRODUCED.
MAYBE THE TREE HAD PRODUCED BEFORE BUT
NOW!!! THE TREE HAD NO FRUIT PRODUCED
FOR HIM THE CREATOR.
9. THE TIME OF PRODUCTION
THE TIME OF PRODUCTION IS NOW!
JESUS DID NOT CARE THAT THE TREE HAD
PRODUCED BEFORE OR THAT HE IT WAS GOING
TO PRODUCE.
NOW! HE WANTED A FRUIT
AND
NOW! THERE WAS NO FRUIT.
HE GOT ANGRY.
10. THE OBLIGATION OF PRODUCTION
IT WAS NOT THE SEASON BUT STILL JESUS
WANTED FRUITS.
NOTHING CAN JUSTIFY THE LACK OF
PRODUCTION
13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he
went to find out if it had any fruit. When he
reached it, he found nothing but leaves,
because it was not the season for figs.
11. THE OBLIGATION OF PRODUCTION
TO PRODUCE IS A MUST FOR ALL THE
CREATURES OF GOD.
THE LORD CURSED THE TREE!!!
14 Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever
eat fruit from you again."
12. WHY SUCH FURY!!!
JESUS KNEW THE PRODUCTION POWER IN THE
TREE
JESUS KNEW HE COULD PRODUCE INSPITE OF
THE SEASON
JESUS WANTED THE TREE TO PRODUCE AT LEAST
FOR HIM
JESUS CONSIDERED THE LACK OF FRUIT AS A
REBELLION TO HIS CREATIVE POWER
JESUS CONSIDERED THE LACK OF FRUIT AS A
NON PARDONNABLE OFFENSE
13. PENALTY FOR LACK OF
PRODUCTION
THE SENTENCE FOR THE SIN OF LACK OF
PRODUCTIVITY WAS:
TOTALE DESTRUCTION WITH
IMMEDIATE EFFECT
14 Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever
eat fruit from you again."
14. PENALTY FOR LACK OF
PRODUCTION
IF YOU CANNOT PRODUCE THERE IS NO
REASON YOU SHOULD LIVE.
PERISH NOW!!!
15. THE LESSON
GOD WANTS EACH ONE TO MAKE HIS LIFE
FRUITFULL.
YOU MUST BE DOING SOMETHING
WITH CLEAR RESULTS THAT WILL
GLORIFY GOD.
17. THE WICKED AND LAZY SERVANT
Matthew 25:14-30
14 "Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called
his servants and entrusted his property to them.
15 To one he gave five talents of money, to another two
talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability.
Then he went on his journey.
16 The man who had received the five talents went at once and
put his money to work and gained five more.
17 So also, the one with the two talents gained two more.
18 But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug
a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
19 "After a long time the master of those servants returned
and settled accounts with them.
18. THE WICKED AND LAZY SERVANT
Matthew 25:14-30
20 The man who had received the five talents brought the
other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five
talents. See, I have gained five more.'
21"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant!
You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in
charge of many things. Come and share your master's
happiness!'
22"The man with the two talents also came. 'Master,' he said,
'you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two
more.'
19. THE WICKED AND LAZY SERVANT
Matthew 25:14-30
23 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant!
You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in
charge of many things. Come and share your master's
happiness!'
24 "Then the man who had received the one talent came.
'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting
where you have not sown and gathering where you have not
scattered seed.
25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the
ground. See, here is what belongs to you.'
20. THE WICKED AND LAZY SERVANT
Matthew 25:14-30
26 "His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I
harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered
seed?
27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the
bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with
interest.
28 " 'Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten
talents.
29 For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an
abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken
from him.
30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness,
where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
21. WICKEDNESS AND LAZYNESS
NOT TO PRODUCE WITH YOUR LIFE IS
CONSIDER AS WICKEDNESS AND
LAZYNESS;
THE PUNISHMENT IS HELL
26 "His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew
that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have
not scattered seed?
30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the
darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
23. THE EVIL FARMERS
33 "Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who
planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in
it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some
farmers and went away on a journey.
34 When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to
the tenants to collect his fruit.
35 "The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed
another, and stoned a third.
36 Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first
time, and the tenants treated them the same way.
24. THE EVIL FARMERS
37 Last of all, he sent his son to them. 'They will respect my
son,' he said.
38 "But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other,
'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance.'
39 So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and
killed him.
40 "Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what
will he do to those tenants?"
41 "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end," they
replied, "and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who
will give him his share of the crop at harvest time."
25. THE EVIL FARMERS
THEY WERE PRODUCING BUT NOT FOR GOD. THEY DID NOT
WANT THE MASTER TO ENJOY THE FRUITS OF THEIR
PRODUCTION. THEY WERE SELFISH THAT IS WHY THEY WERE
EVIL.
THEY WERE TO BE DESTROYED.
40 "Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what
will he do to those tenants?"
41 "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end," they
replied, "and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who
will give him his share of the crop at harvest time."
26. THE OBLIGATION OF PRODUCTION
A FRUITFULL LIFE IS BLESSED BY GOD
“7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that
produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives
the blessing of God.
8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is
in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.”
27. THE OBLIGATION OF PRODUCTION
A FRUITLESS LIFE IS BLESSED BY GOD
“7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that
produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives
the blessing of God.
8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is
in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.”
28. THE GENES OF GOD
GOD HAS GIVEN US HIS GENES.
WE CAN CREATE. WE MUST CREATE.
LET US REJECT A FRUITLESS LIFE!
Psalms 82:6
"I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.'
29. JESUS IS OUR STRENGTH
WE HAVE THE BACKING AND THE
STRENGTH OF THE LORD.
LET US RISE AND MAKE THIS YEAR THE MOST
FRUITFULL OF OUR ENTIRE LIFE SO FAR
Philippians 4:13
“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”
30. DETERMINE YOUR TALENT AND
GIFTS
DETERMINE YOUR TALENTS AND GIFTS
AND DEVELOP THEM TO THE MAXIMUM.
GOD WILL BLESS YOU.
GOD BLESS THOSE WHO PRODUCE.
