The document discusses the purpose and symbolism of the sanctuary that God instructed the Israelites to build. The four main purposes were for God to dwell with his people, sanctify them, show his way, and enable understanding of prophecy. It also discusses how the sanctuary symbolizes the plan of salvation and shows the process of atonement that Christ carries out for humanity in the heavenly sanctuary. Additionally, it notes that our bodies should be considered temples for the Holy Spirit to dwell in.
The document discusses the divine purpose of the Tabernacle based on Exodus 25:8 and 29:46-47. It covers how God wants to dwell among His people as represented by the Tabernacle, and the significance of its construction according to God's instructions. It also summarizes the arrangement of the 12 tribes of Israel around the Tabernacle, with their placement on the four sides corresponding to the four living creatures seen by Ezekiel and Revelation.
The document discusses end times prophecies from the books of Daniel and Revelation and their fulfillment. It summarizes that Daniel chapter 2 outlines successive world powers from Babylon to the eternal kingdom of God. It warns that the papacy will try to enforce Sunday observance in the last days by allying with world powers, going against religious freedom.
The document discusses chapters 10-11 of the book of Revelation. It provides commentary on several key passages:
1) Chapter 10 discusses Jesus showing how God's word has opposite effects for believers and unbelievers. It also describes a mighty angel and a little scroll that is sweet but turns sour.
2) Chapter 11 describes how two witnesses will show God's protection of believers and wrath against unbelievers. It identifies the witnesses as two future prophets, possibly Moses and Elijah.
3) The witnesses are killed but then resurrected, ascending to heaven as their enemies watch, showing God's gracious presence for believers. The seventh trumpet sounds God's judgment of unbelievers and praise for his kingdom.
The final sequence of God's Tribulation judgments will be the most severe. Don't be here! Place your faith in the Judge himself, Jesus Christ. The document outlines the sanctuary service in the earthly tabernacle and its antitype in Jesus' heavenly ministry. It describes the daily and yearly services on earth, which pointed to the continual intercession of Jesus and His final atonement cleansing believers of sin's record. It urges readers to come humbly before God's judgment, pleading only the merits of Christ, who will present believers faultless before the Father.
King Nebuchadnezzar held great power as king of Babylon, but this power came from God. Over time, Nebuchadnezzar became prideful and indifferent to God's power and prophecies. As punishment for his pride, God caused Nebuchadnezzar to live like an animal for seven years. After being humbled, Nebuchadnezzar proclaimed to his people that God is sovereign and rules over all earthly kingdoms.
Daniel receives a vision revealing a great conflict between good and evil that would affect God's people in the last days. Though the vision was given in the third year of Cyrus' rule, its meaning was not fully understood until later. Daniel mourned and fasted for three weeks seeking greater understanding of what he had seen regarding the restoration of God's people and sanctuary. His strict diet and abstinence from luxuries during this time helped sharpen his mind to discern the Holy Spirit's revelations. The vision in chapter 10 provides further explanation of the restoration outlined in Daniel 8-9.

The document discusses the biblical concept of the "abomination of desolation" mentioned in the books of Daniel and Matthew. It provides definitions of "abomination" and "desolation" and examines the four mentions of the phrase in the book of Daniel. The document suggests that the abomination of desolation referred to in Daniel was fulfilled by the Roman armies destroying Jerusalem in 70 AD. It argues that both pagan Rome and papal Rome acted as the abomination that desolated God's sanctuary through their idolatrous practices and persecution of Christians.
This document discusses the characteristics of the sealed and the church's role in the end times based on several Bible passages. It states that the church will go forth conquering and to conquer, clothed in God's grace and glory. It describes the former and latter rains as preparing the crops, and says the latter rain will revive and strengthen God's people during the final conflict. It highlights passages about the loud cry of the third angel's message, God's people coming out of Babylon, and the earth being filled with God's glory in the last days.

Sanctuary Presentation 1. The Sanctuary ArticlesSami Wilberforce
The document discusses the importance of the sanctuary and its articles in the Old Testament tabernacle and their significance as types pointing to Jesus Christ and His ministry. It explains that the sanctuary and its articles like the altar, laver, table of showbread, and throne represent important spiritual truths about salvation through Jesus, including His atoning death, baptism and regeneration, communion, and heavenly ministry. The sanctuary service gives insight into God's plan of redemption and should be properly understood.
The climax of the book of Revelation is unarguably the return of Christ. What precedes in the judgments (Rev 1-18) proves his right to judge and what follows (Rev 20-22) is simply the "mopping up" operation. Jonah 1:1-3. Jonah told by God to go preach to Nineveh
Went by boat to Tarshish instead
Storm came up, Jonah thrown overboard
Swallowed by great fish, then spit out on land
Jonah told again to preach to Nineveh
Jonah tells God he didn’t want to preach to Nineveh because he knew God would forgive them if they repented
They repented and God forgave them
Jonah was angry & went outside the city to see what would happen
God caused a gourd to grow up and give him shade
A worm caused the plant to die & Jonah was angry
God asked Jonah if it was right for him to be angry about the plant, Jonah said yes
God said, should I not pity the 120,000 souls in Nineveh

Our little Church is using a Chronological Bible Reading Schedule by Skip Andrews. It can be found here: http://www.churchofchristduluthga.org/
Each Sunday a lesson is given from some of that week's reading. This lesson covers June 22-28.
The document discusses the books of Daniel and Revelation and their purpose of revealing the character of Jesus Christ. It notes that Daniel's name means "God is my judge" and Revelation reveals Jesus Christ. Therefore, these books reveal who reflects Christ's character through the Holy Spirit by living according to the everlasting gospel.
The document then discusses the "sea of glass" mentioned in Revelation 15:2. It states this sea represents the ultimate triumph of God's saints over the beast (papal Rome), the beast's image (apostate Protestantism), the mark of the beast (Sunday worship decreed by the papacy), and the number of the beast's name. It claims the sea of glass symbolizes God's
The document provides an overview of how to properly study the book of Revelation by using exegesis rather than eisegesis. It emphasizes letting the Bible interpret itself rather than imposing one's own ideas. It also summarizes different views of end times prophecy and the importance of the millennial period, noting that a literal 1,000 year reign is supported by many biblical passages. The document aims to give guidance for understanding Revelation within its original context.
The document discusses the biblical doctrine of judgment according to three stages:
1) The investigative judgment occurs in heaven before Christ's return to determine who will participate in the resurrection. God reviews each person's life from the record of their deeds.
2) After the plagues, Christ returns to raise the righteous dead and rapture believers, known as the first resurrection.
3) The wicked are destroyed by God's wrath at Christ's appearance, unable to withstand His glory, and experience eternal destruction separated from God.
This document discusses the seven churches mentioned in Revelation and how they represent seven phases of church history. It focuses on the church of Laodicea, representing the last church phase before the second coming of Jesus. Laodicea is described as lukewarm, indifferent, and in need of revival and reformation. The document outlines prophetic signs that will occur during the sealing of God's people, including a change in the US Constitution, Satan appearing as Christ, enforcement of Sunday laws, economic collapse, and the finding of the Ark of the Covenant. It emphasizes the need for God's end-time church to overcome lukewarmness and fully prepare for the events soon to take place.
The document discusses several signs of the end times mentioned in the Bible and Ellen White writings. It provides examples of current world events that could fulfill endtime prophecies, such as disasters, economic troubles, wars and rumors of wars, religious fanaticism, and unrest among nations. It suggests these signs indicate that the world is in a perilous condition and the final crisis is near. The document advocates studying prophecies and preparing spiritually for Christ's soon return.
The document summarizes Revelation 20, which describes Satan being bound by an angel (believed to be Jesus Christ) for 1,000 years. During this time, those who were martyred for their faith in Jesus will reign with Christ. After 1,000 years, Satan will be released briefly to deceive the nations before being defeated and thrown into the lake of fire. The dead will then be judged based on what is written in the books, and those whose names are not in the book of life will also be thrown into the lake of fire, facing eternal torment.
The document discusses the 144,000 and who they are. It explains that they will be sealed by God before the winds are released, marking them as a special group who have remained faithful. While the exact meaning of the 144,000 is uncertain, the key is for believers to strive daily to strengthen their relationship with God and help others do the same, as this group will only be known by God. The focus should be on spiritual preparation rather than debates over the 144,000's identity.
The document discusses several signs that are indicators of the end times, according to Adventist eschatology. These include increasing natural disasters, wars and violence, religious fanaticism, social unrest, and geoengineering programs that are damaging the environment. It also references a people who are studying prophecy and seeking to purify themselves in preparation for Christ's return.
The document provides an overview of the book of Revelation. It begins by outlining the purpose of Revelation as told to John by Jesus: to write down what he has seen, what is currently happening, and what will happen in the future. The key is then given that Revelation contains visions from God, not in chronological order, with sevens appearing frequently and a pause between the sixth and seventh seals/trumpets. The overview then examines each vision: the things John has seen in chapter 1, the letters to the seven churches as the current state in chapters 2-3, God and Jesus' glory in chapters 4-5, and the things to come after in chapters 6-22 involving seals, trumpets, Satan
The document discusses key events in church history that relate to time prophecies in Daniel 12. It notes that in 508 AD, Clovis converted to Catholicism, uniting church and state in his kingdom. In 538 AD, laws were passed that made the papacy the head of all churches. This established the 1260 year period of papal supremacy predicted in Daniel. The document also discusses the 1290 and 1335 year prophecies, noting their fulfillment in 1798 and 1843 respectively.
God's judgment hour involves reviewing the records of each person's life, contained in books in heaven. These books contain transcripts of every word and deed, as well as tears and names. At judgment, each person will appear with the same character and be rewarded or punished according to their works. The judgment began in 1844 after the persecution of the church from 538-1798 by the little horn power.
The Blueprint-ii-the-blueprint-cast-down-juicedAntonio Bernard
This document summarizes prophecies from the books of Daniel and Revelation regarding the little horn power and its 1260 day/year prophecy. It shows how the earthly sanctuary services were replaced by Rome after Christ's ministry ended, fulfilling Daniel's prophecy of the daily sacrifice being taken away. It lists 5 ways the papacy cast down God's truth: 1) Replacing Christ's sacrifice with penance and indulgences, 2) Replacing baptism with infant sprinkling, 3) Replacing the Bible with traditions, 4) Replacing Christ's mediation with confession to priests, and 5) Plunging Europe into the dark ages. The document uses the year-day principle to calculate the 1260 prophetic
Revelation 11 june 10 2012 sermon slides (1)John Smith
This document provides commentary on Revelation 11:1-14 regarding the temple, two witnesses, and the second prophetic pause in Revelation. It summarizes that:
1) The temple is a symbol of God's people, though some see a future rebuilt temple in Jerusalem.
2) The two witnesses have power to perform plagues and are later killed but resurrected, with interpretations varying on their identity.
3) God will never leave himself without a witness, so if believers fail God will work through others, though they miss out on life's calling by not pointing others to Christ.
Sanctuary Presentation 7. Time Limit in The SanctuarySami Wilberforce
This document provides information about a revival week being held at Maseno University from 20-26 July 2015. The theme is "The Sanctuary" and focuses on key truths such as the sanctuary message and the 2300 day prophecy. It emphasizes that present truth needs to be the focus of messages to prepare God's people. It warns of the dangers of focusing on topics that do not unite or sanctify souls. Finally, it encourages preparing for the end times by getting ready spiritually and reflecting Christ's image fully.
The document discusses biblical concepts related to God's majesty and the end times. It references passages about God's love and salvation for believers, the final judgment, and eternity spent with God. Diagrams depict the present age, great tribulation, millennium, and new heaven/earth. The document emphasizes faith in God and rewards for righteousness that will be received after living for God.
This document tells a story about a man who was calling out to God but failing to recognize how God was responding. God spoke to the man through a singing bird, thunder, a shining star, and the birth of the man's son, but each time the man did not listen or understand. Finally, God touched the man's cheek with a butterfly, but the man brushed it away without comprehending. The moral is that God speaks to us in many ways, but we must have open senses to recognize His communications.
The document discusses prophecies from the Old Testament that foretold characteristics of the Messiah which were fulfilled by Jesus in the New Testament. It provides several examples of prophecies about the Messiah being born of a virgin, born in Bethlehem, descended from Abraham and King David, and more that were fulfilled by Jesus. The purpose seems to be showing how Jesus fulfilled Messianic prophecies and was the promised Messiah.
This document discusses the development of human senses from an embryo to adulthood and compares it to the development of spiritual senses. It notes that each of the five physical senses - touch, taste, smell, hearing, and sight - emerge at different points in fetal and infant development. It then explores how each spiritual sense - touch, taste, smell, hearing, and sight - relates to discerning spiritual truths and realities. The document emphasizes that regularly exercising our spiritual senses through reading Scripture, prayer, and obedience helps them to mature so we can better distinguish good from evil.
The three persons involved in the act of prophesying. God, the giver of the word. The person receiving from God to transmit the word. The final receiver.
Prophecy is speaking out the mind of God under divine inspiration. It involves edifying, exhorting, and comforting people by restoring God's image in them, showing them God's plans, and communicating how God sees them. True prophecy comes from being Christ-centered and having one's heart filled with God's love, which is then poured out to others. Several scriptures are presented that declare God's promises of forgiveness, blessings, healing, and deliverance. The document encourages activating these prophecies by declaring them over others and concludes with a prayer for revelation, transformation, and effectiveness in prophetic ministry.
The document provides information about ambassadors from several sources including dictionaries and examples. It defines an ambassador as an official envoy, especially a high-ranking diplomat, sent by a country to represent them in another country. Joseph Grew and Kichisaburō Nomura are discussed as the ambassadors of the US and Japan respectively who worked to prevent war between the two countries before the attack on Pearl Harbor. The document also discusses how Christians can take on the role of ambassadors for Christ by knowing God's message, having wise and persuasive communication, and living virtuous lives that represent the kingdom of heaven.
The document discusses the biblical Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkoth). It describes how the feast commemorates the harvest and the Israelites' 40 years wandering in the desert. During the feast, Israelites built temporary shelters (sukkot) and lived in them for 7 days. At the Temple, priests performed rituals like pouring water and sacrificing 70 bulls to atone for the nations. The feast points to God dwelling with his people and the future ingathering of all nations when the Messiah returns.
The Feast of Trumpets, also known as Yom Teruah or Rosh Hashanah, marks the Jewish New Year according to the biblical calendar. It commemorates the beginning of the fall harvest season and prophetically points to end times events in God's plan of salvation. The blowing of the trumpet on this feast is likened to the last trumpet that will sound at the rapture of the church, gathering believers to meet the returning Jesus in the air. The 100 trumpet blasts, with the final one longest, picture the trumpet blast announcing Christ's second coming to earth to establish his kingdom.
This document provides an overview of a prophetic night event focused on discussing and prophesying from passages in the book of Isaiah. Participants will explore selected scriptures from their own point of view and compare to biblical commentary. They will share what striking points they find in each passage and discuss ideas emerging from the scriptures. The last hour will involve prophesying over each other. The document includes an opening prayer asking God to help activate prophetic gifts to lovingly represent him, renew minds to have his thoughts and insights, and for mouths to overflow with living waters to soak others in love. Passages on being engraved on God's hands and finding one's wilderness/desert are included to recognize new things, with definitions requested
Jewish people celebrate Shavuot and the harvest of wheat, while Christians celebrate Pentecost and the harvest of the church. Both holidays commemorate the giving of the law at Mount Sinai and the empowering of believers by the Holy Spirit. Pentecost marks when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples in tongues of fire, empowering the early church and inaugurating the age of grace.
The document discusses the power of God's spoken word based on revelations the author received from listening to the song "So Will I (100 Billion X)". The author was amazed at receiving revelation from the song's lyrics and realized this showed how much more powerful it is to receive revelation directly from reading and meditating on the Bible itself. The song's lyrics are then included, praising God as the creator of all things and for His salvation through Jesus' death and resurrection.
The document discusses three instances in the Bible where the windows of heaven were opened. Each time, an abundance was poured out from heaven. The first was during Noah's flood, when God opened the windows of heaven to bring judgment through a torrential downpour. The second was when windows opened to transfer natural resources, changing a famine situation into a surplus. The third was when windows opened to pour out spiritual blessings too abundant to contain. Opening the windows of heaven signifies God releasing his abundant provision and blessing from the heavenly realm.
The document discusses spiritual harvest and encourages the reader to be ready. It notes that God has sowed seeds in the reader's "field" through prophetic words, blessings, and other means. These seeds have grown roots and blossoms and it is now time for harvest. The reader is encouraged to identify the different "lines of crops" or fruits of the spirit within themselves. Finally, it reminds the reader that God has prepared good works for them and they should look for opportunities to use their gifts, as this is part of the seeds sown in them. The reader is told to ensure their "silo" or spiritual storage is ready to keep the harvest.
The document discusses biblical meanings of various numbers. It notes that the number 7 represents completion or perfection. Genesis 7:23 describes the biblical flood wiping out all life except those on Noah's ark. Genesis 17:11-12 says circumcision of males should occur on the 8th day as a sign of God's covenant. Colossians 2:11 and John 20:26 also reference the importance of the 8th day. The document asserts that 800 represents being "fully put off" from the old, carnal nature. It lists ages that people in the Bible lived to be, many reaching 800-1000 years.
We can use the power of the blood of Jesus for our benefit. Claiming His blood daily, builds up a shield of protection around you, your household and your ministry.

Lição 12: João 15 a 17 – O Espírito Santo e a Oração Sacerdotal | 2° Trimestr...OmarBarrezueta1

Astronism, Cosmism and Cosmodeism: the space religions espousing the doctrine...Cometan
This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.

The Book of Revelation, filled with symbolic and apocalyptic imagery, presents one of its most striking visions in Revelation 9:3-12—the locust army. Understanding the significance of this locust army provides insight into the broader themes of divine judgment, protection, and the ultimate triumph of God’s will as depicted in Revelation.
Introduction
Mantra Yoga is an exact science. "Mananat trayate iti mantrah- by the Manana (constant thinking or recollection) of which one is protected or is released from the round of births and deaths, is Mantra." That is called Mantra by the meditation (Manana) on which the Jiva or the individual soul attains freedom from sin, enjoyment in heaven and final liberation, and by the aid of which it attains in full the fourfold fruit (Chaturvarga), i.e., Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. A Mantra is so called because it is achieved by the mental process.

Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

3. SATAN BOUND 1,000 YEARS
• 20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having
the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his
hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who
is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand
years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut
him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the
nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But
after these things he must be released for a little while.
4. COMMENTS 20:1-3
• An angel has the key, this time an angel comes with the key and a large
chain. It is this unnamed angel who takes hold of the dragon and bound
him for thousand years.
• I want to stress again that Satan isn’t match for Jesus. He’s been already
kicked from heaven by angels. When he was Lucifer, he was the highest
ranked angel, and as a slap to his pride he was send out by Michael the
archangel.
• Four names: dragon, serpent of old, devil and Satan.
• Satan bound, and locked in the Abyss for 1000 years (Rev. 20:1-3)
• Satan’s impotence, compared to the mighty power of Christ.
5. • Bottomless pit (the abyss), same of Rev 9:1-2; which is not the lake of fire.
• Thousand years (Millennium), John has revelation of 1,000 years even thou
he saw it in a temporal vision.
• Psalm 90:4; 4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it
is past, And like a watch in the night.
• In our days, Evil and Satan temptations are everywhere. However, we
Christians are blessed with the promise that no temptation would be
greater than what we can take, and that God will provide us a way to
escape the temptation. (1Cor. 10:13).
6. THE SAINTS REIGN WITH CHRIST 1,000 YEARS
• 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to
them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their
witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast
or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their
hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But
the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were
finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part
in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they
shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand
years.
7. • First resurrection; is the rising of all believers, these are called “Blessed and
Holy” and it goes with Jesus teaching in Luke 14:14; and John 5:29.
• The second death, which is the lake of fire has no effect over the blessed
and holy.
• Saints Become priests of God and of Christ
• Saints reign whit Christ for a thousand years.
8. • The mark of the beast. The mark represents allegiance
• Definition of allegiance.
• 1 a : the obligation of a feudal vassal to his liege lord.
• 1 b : the fidelity owed by a subject or citizen to a sovereign or government.
• I pledge allegiance to my country.
• I believe that this mark will be more notorious than a mark on the hand or
on the forehead. It will be the life style of an individual, it will be one that
goes in full alignment with all the doctrines and tenets of the antichrist, thus
making the individual recognizable by the ones of the same species.
9. SATANIC REBELLION CRUSHED
• 7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from
his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four
corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle,
whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of
the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And
fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil,
who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the
beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night
forever and ever.
10. • Another failed intent of war. Once 1000 years were completed, Satan was
released. Unrelenting in his purposes, he sets about making war again
gathering all the nations of the earth on his side.
• However, once again this was a war that never happened.
• Yes, it was planned, and the great number of armies gathered for battle,
in spite of that, they never got to fire a shot or swing a sword as fire came
down out from Heaven and devoured them all (Revelation 20:7-9).
• The devil was cast down into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the
beast and the false prophet are.
11. THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT
• 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face
the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for
them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and
books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of
Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things
which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in
it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And
they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and
Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And
anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
12. GREAT WHITE THRONE
• The Great white throne, represents the throne of the Kingdom of God.
• Jesus holds the Key of David (Rev 3:7) seats on the throne, as He is the
King of God’s Kingdom.
• Rev 3:21 says: “21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My
throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”
• Earth and heaven fled away. Earth and heaven fled away from the face of
the One who sat upon the throne. This symbolises that Christ is King of
kings and Lord of lords. There is no place for earthly kingdoms neither for
those of temporary heavenly places in the eternal heaven.
13. COMMENTS REVELATION 20:11-15
• Books were opened These books exist right now and they are a witness.
• The books that record what God will is for you. The books of the Bible.
• The books that record every deed people have done. With our doings and
sayings we are causing one of these books to be written right now.
• The most important thing you can do today is to ensure that your sins
have been "blotted out" of the record of your deeds (Acts 3:19).
• The book called "The Book of Life" which has the names of all the friends
and servants of Jesus.
• Now is the time to have your name registered in that book.
14. COMMENTS REVELATION 20:13-15
• Cast into the lake.
• John saw The Dragon, the Beast and the False prophet cast into the lake of
fire (Revelation 20:10).
• Now he sees Death and Hades cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:14).
• Following that, all whose names were not found written in the Book of Life
were cast in too (Revelation 20:15).
• The second death. This lake of fire and brimstone is called by John “the
second death”.
• It is in contrast with “the first resurrection” (Revelation 20:6).
16. ALL THINGS MADE NEW
• 21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the
first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw
the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice
from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He
will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with
them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their
eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be
no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
17. A NEW HEAVEN, A NEW EARTH
AND A NEW JERUSALEM
• A new blessed and eternal life.
• The heaven and earth that passed away is the ones which God created in
the beginning (Genesis 1:1-31).
• The Apostle Peter mentions that in: 2 Peter 3:12-13 12 looking for and
hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will
be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent
heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens
and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
• There was no more Sea!
• No more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
18. • New Jerusalem John sees a beautiful city descend upon the new heaven
and earth. He calls it "the holy city, the new Jerusalem" (Revelation 21:2;
3:12)
• The new city looks like a bride; furthermore John says: “Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them…meaning that
God will dwell with men.
• First there was the Tabernacle of Moses, replaced by the Temple in
Jerusalem, and now we have fellowship with the Father and with His Son
Jesus Christ, (1 John 1:3).
• But now God Himself will be the with them.
19. • 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And
He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
• 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the
Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely
to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be
his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly,
unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters,
and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and
brimstone, which is the second death.”
20. ALL THINGS NEW
• "The first things have passed away... behold I am making all things
new" (Revelation 21:4-5). This new heavenly world will be full of unending
gladness.
• Alpha and Omega. Meaning: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the
beginning and the end, the first and the last" (Revelation 21:6, 22:13).
• Water of life The water of life promised by Jesus in John 4:14. Eternal life is
the greatest promise and gift ever offered to human beings. Yet it is freely
available to anyone who thirsts for it.
• There's an inheritance for all the sons of God (Ephesians 1:11). Any man or
woman can become a son of God (Romans 8:15-17).
• Second death. (Revelation 21:8, 20:10,14). This second death is terrible, it’s
the lake of fire.
21. THE NEW JERUSALEM
• 9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the
seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will
show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit
to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the
holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of
God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as
crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve
angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of
the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three
gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.
22. • 14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the
names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who talked with me
had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 16 The city is laid
out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the
city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height
are equal. 17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four
cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
23. • 18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like
clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all
kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second
sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the
sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the
tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The
twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And
the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
24. THE GLORY OF THE NEW JERUSALEM
• 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its
temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for
the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of
those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring
their glory and honor into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day
(there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the
honor of the nations into it. 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything
that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are
written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
26. THE RIVER OF LIFE
• 22 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal,
proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its
street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve
fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the
tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse,
but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall
serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their
foreheads. 5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of
the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and
ever.
27. • At the beginning, there was a river in the Garden of Eden (Gen 2:7 10) Here
at the end at the end of the visions of John we have a River of Life.
• Water of Life. Jesus told to the woman at the well about this "living water" ,
on other occasion, Jesus spoke of this "living water" meaning the gift of the
Holy Spirit (John 7:37-39).
• Flowed from the Lamb God is "the fountain of living waters" (Jeremiah 2:13).
• So the river that flows out from the throne of God and the Lamb
represents "the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father" (John
15:26). The Holy Spirit is given to us a pledge or guarantee of eternal
life (Ephesians 1:13-14).
28. THE FULLNESS OF GOD
• In this vision the fullness of God is represented by:
• The Father. The one who sits on the throne ( Revelation 4:2-6),
• The Son. The Lamb who sits with the Father on the throne (Rev 3:21, 5:4-10).
• The Holy Spirit. The river proceeding from the throne.
29. • The street takes to the River of the water of life and to the tree of life.
• The first disciples were mentioned as the followers of "the Way“, mentioned
in Acts 24:14,22 and Hebrews 10:19-20.
• We ourselves are walking on the way of obedience to our Lord until His
coming. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
• The tree of life. In Eden, there were the tree of life, and the tree of
knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:9). The second was forbidden, but
the tree of life was not.
• After the fall, access to this tree was denied; but Jesus Christ made possible
again for us to have access to eternal life (Romans 6:23).
• Twelve fruits, 12 months of the year, and 12 kinds at fruits.
• Healing leaves. Its leaves give healing. We can walk to the river and pick
from the tree. We are not forbidden, but invited.
30. THE TIME IS NEAR
• 6 Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God
of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which
must shortly take place.
• 7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the
prophecy of this book.”
• 8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell
down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
31. WORDS OF JESUS
• Revelation 22:7,12-13,16-17
• I am coming quickly "Behold I am coming quickly" Revelation focus timing
in a different way. "With the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a
thousand years as one day"(2Peter 3:8-9).
• The souls under the altar cried, "How long?", God declares that there still
some people on earth (Revelation 6:10-11).
• Revelation cares about your lifetime. You are near to the last day
because "it is appointed for man once to die, and after this comes
judgment" (Hebrews 9:27-28).
• Blessed is he who heeds "Blessed is he who heeds the words of the
prophecy of this book." (Revelation 22:7). This is the final beatitude given by
Jesus, repeated with a promise further down in verse 14.
32. • 9 Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow
servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the
words of this book. Worship God.” 10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the
words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. 11 He who is
unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is
righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”
33. • Do not seal up the words. John's book is not to be sealed. It is being fulfilled
already, it is the gospel message, The mystery revealed, the message for
today.
• Daniel’s prophecy. The angel told him to seal up his book (Daniel
12:4). People could read it, but its fulfillment was far off.
• "He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still…
• The angel is not saying it is ok to be us you are now. He means that now is
a time for decision.
• You can stay filthy if you wish, or you can become holy.
• You can stay holy if you wish, or you can become filthy.
• You won't always have the option, but for the time being you do.
• How you are found on the last day, in that state you will remain forever.
forever.
•
34. • Blessed are those who obey. They will have the right to the tree of life, and
may enter in by the gates into the city."(Revelation 22:14).
• Anyone has a right to the tree of life. Nobody is excluded. However there is
condition. You have to do Christ's commandments. If you don't do them,
forfeit any right that might have been yours.
• Outside are dogs. The dogs are the wicked, those who don't do the
commandments of Jesus Christ.
• The message is not about making lists of sins. The message is assuring us
that there won't be any wickedness or wicked people in heaven.
35. JESUS TESTIFIES TO THE CHURCHES
• 12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to
every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the
Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
• 14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the
right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the
city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and
murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
36. • Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this
book." (Revelation 22:7).
• My reward is with me. (Revelation 22:12). He brings the recompense.
• This statement of Jesus is either a promise or a threat—depending upon
whether or not one's work is to keep the commandments of Jesus.
• I am the first and last. Jesus is claiming to be God and equal with his Father.
Only Almighty God can be called "The First and the Last" (Isaiah 44:6).
37. • 16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches.
I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
• 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say,
“Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the
water of life freely.
38. I JESUS HAVE SENT MY ANGEL
• To testify these things to you in the congregations. This is Jesus's own
testimony about John's sources. We noted that John said this, the angel
said it. And now Jesus says it.
• "I am the root and the offspring of David”, “the bright and Morning Star“
(Revelation 22:16). Jesus, even in heaven mentions than he is: The Son
of God and the son of David.
• Jesus is glorious like the sun, the star that rises in the morning.
• Remember:
• The name Lucifer means morning star and has been stolen by the Devil,
the father of lies (Isaiah 14:12).
39. • Whoever will, let him come
• 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say,
“Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the
water of life freely.
• This invitation is for all,
• But especially for you.
• There is no other invitation as important as this one.
• You may have let pass many invitations in your life.
• But this is the best of all by far. Don't miss out on this.
• Accept God's invitation without delay.
40. A WARNING
• 18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this
book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that
are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the
book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life,
from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
• I Am Coming Quickly
• 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
• Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
• 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
41. • If anyone adds... or takes away
• We need to be very careful with the use of the word of God, we cannot add
our own doctrines, and or discard parts of it.
• JOHN WARNS SEVERERELY against that. John's statement shows that he
regarded this book as holy scripture and not to be tampered with.
• Amen, Come Lord Jesus!
• After all that John has heard and seen, he is more than ready for the Lord
to come quickly.
• We too, when we have considered his revelation, will respond just as
eagerly.
43. MY DEAR FRIENDS
