This document discusses how gaming is becoming more common in libraries. It provides statistics showing that many people in the US play computer and console games and that a high percentage of libraries now support gaming. It then gives snapshots of different libraries that have incorporated gaming, including having a gaming space, hosting gaming summer camps or events, and supporting alternate reality games. Finally, it discusses the reasons why gaming fits with libraries' missions and can enhance literacy, support learning, and help meet school standards.
