Zac Baker                                My Project<br />The Human Eye<br />Cornea: the outer layer that covers the iris and the pupil.<br />Pupil: the black circle in the center of the iris and allows light to come in the eye.<br />Iris: the ring around the pupil or the part of your eye that is colored.<br />Lens: is between the iris and the vitreous humor that focuses light rays from the pupil and forms an image on the retina.<br />Retina: a light sensitive membrane on the inner eyeball to the optic nerve and then to the brain.<br />Optic Nerve: is at the back of the inner eyeball and carries visual (or stuff that you see) to the brain or to other parts of it.<br />Vitreous Humor: is a clear like substance and fills the area between the retina and the lens.<br />Macula: the part of the retina that is the most sensitive.<br />Sclera: the white wall or part of the eye and not many diseases affect this layer because it’s tough<br />My Camera<br />Lenses: let’s light come through it and in a camera there isn’t just one but two or three or even more.<br />Film: stores images from the picture or pictures you take and acts like the brain for the human eye.<br />The Human Eye compared to My Camera<br />Lens-es: allow light to come through and is located at the front of the eye (for a camera) but located behind the Iris (for the human eye). <br />
