The Brothers Grimm were Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, famous German authors known for collecting and publishing folklore and fairy tales. They were born in the late 18th century in Germany and came from a poor background. Many of their stories were violent and aimed at teaching children lessons. Some of their most famous tales include Cinderella, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rumpelstiltskin. Learner Profile I think that the Brothers Grimm are Communicators and open-minded because they communicated their stories to the world and they opened their mind into something bigger than themselves. By communicating their stories around the world us in the 20 th century can really relate to and learn from many of their fairy tales. I also think they are open-minded because they tapped themselves into a fairy tale land where most of their tales are based on their harsh childhood which enabled them to write something more.
