DANGEROUS GAME

CHARACTERS
 Direct Characterization
- Rainsford: He is a Hunter , he likes the adventure, he
demostrates his ability in the island and also his
intelligence when he faced problems in his trip; He is a
boring person.
- Ivan: He was a black man, who is the servan of Zarrof
- General Zarrof: He is a hunter who thinks that
everything he does is good no matter the cost that
people have to pay for.
 Indirect Characterization
• Whiney: He is Rainsford´s friend a man who doesn´t
have emphaty for others; a man with poor imagination.
SETTING
 The story occurs in two places; one of them is the
Carebean sea and the other place is the Ship Trap Island
where Rainsford got lost when falling from the yacth.
PLOT
 Internal conflicts
General Zarrof double intentions against Rainsford as well
the island and all the stuff he had to struggle at the
beginning when he had to star the game. Zarrof propuse
him a game but later Rainsford realized what Zarrof
wanted to do.
 External conflicts
Rainsford thoughts about his host and also the desitions
that he had yo take later to safe his life.
Rainsford realized that he had to fight for this life; during
the story he was discovering Zarrof plans, so he was
thinking in tje best way yo survive.
EXPOSITION
 Zarrof started telling all about his new game and he
invited Rainsford to be part of the game.
Rainsford must play the game if he wanted to survive, he
thought that was the only option at that moment, but at
the end he did not have anything else.
RISING ACTION
 Rainsford realized that he had to do something to survive
; so he made some tramps in order to win the game; also
if he wanted to go out of the island he must win the
game. Rainsford was afraid of the game because he did
not want to be killed.
CLIMAX
 Rainsford found a way to fight against Zarrof ; for that
reason Ivan was killed; Zarrof offered Rainsford to play
a game in which he was the mouse and Zarrof the cat; but
when Rainsford realized that they could change the rol he
started to plan the best options for him in order to survive.
FALLING ACTION
 Zarrof tried to find Rainsford without help because the
only person that could help him was Ivan but at this time
Ivan was death. Zarrof realized that Rainsford could play
the game better than him; he did not find him so he went
back to his house.
RESOLUTION
 Rainsford knew that he had the opportunity to save his life
and to show who was the best player while Zarrof was
thinking in his house when and where can find someone
like Ivan and how difficult it would be for him.
