There are several countries that may be foci of wars in the world, including Syria, Palestine, Israel, Iran and North Korea. In the contemporary era, international geopolitical chess points to the existence of three major players: the United States, China and Russia. From the confrontation between these three great military powers in the future, alternatives scenarios to the current may arise that are characterized by the loss of US hegemony on the world stage since the end of the bipolar world confronting the United States and the Soviet Union.

Cold War was a period of geopolitical tension between the world’s two superpower countries the Soviet Union and the United States and their respective allies, the Eastern Bloc and the Western Bloc, after the finish of World War II. In the second half of the 20th century, they are engaged in a face-off without direct confrontation for almost 45 years. Major European powerful country is weakened after more than 60 million deaths in 6 years of fighting.

The US presence in the Middle East can be explained to the fact that it always defends its interets in the region. For, that reason, the US uses divergent means and methods to achieve its ends.
The night attack of 4/4/2017 when US ships fired 59 missiles at a military base in Syria was the first time the United States directly attacked Syrian regime facilities since the country's civil war began in 2011. The offensive was carried out on the orders of Trump as a reprisal for a suspected chemical attack by the Syrian army against civilians in the town of Idlib, one of the main bastions of rebel forces in the country. What are the consequences of this attack on the international scene? The first is the possibility of starting the US military escalation in Syria; the second concerns the deterioration of US-Russia relations; and the third is the commitment to combat the Islamic State. All that has just been reported may be the trigger for a new world war.

This article aims to demonstrate that the world may be heading towards the 3rd World War as a result of the conflict that seems insoluble, bringing together, on the one hand, the United States and its western allies and, on the other, Russia, China and their allies. What makes the possibility of World War 3 increasingly likely is the current escalation of conflict between Russia, on the one hand, and the United States, NATO, and Ukraine, on the other. Furthermore, the United States is articulating the constitution of an Asia-Pacific NATO to militarily confront China. The world is heading towards the outbreak of the 3rd World War because the proliferation of wars interests US imperialism and its war industry, which are partners in order to achieve their objectives, the first, to maintain their world hegemony and, the second, to increase its profitability from the sale of weapons. With the wars and the consequent military expenditures, US imperialism seeks to maintain the growth of its economy and achieve its geopolitical objectives of maintaining its domination in the world and, in turn, the arms industry seeks to maximize its profits with the sale of weapons to the US government and its allies. The threat of a new world war is also strengthened by the failure of the international system to ensure world peace. How to prevent the outbreak of World War 3? In order to definitively rule out new risks of the outbreak of the 3rd World War and to bring about peace on our planet, it was proposed that all peace-loving peoples and countries not aligned with the belligerents mobilize worldwide to oppose the new world order imposed by the unified global empire under the leadership of the United States, articulating in defense of a new international system capable of guaranteeing world peace.
In human history, there were three attempts to establish international governance that would contribute to peace building. The first attempt occurred in 1648 with the signing of the Peace of Westphalia in Europe that marked the end of the first great European conflict, the War of the Thirty Years. The second attempt was the establishment of the League of Nations or the Society of Nations established in 1919 with the Treaty of Versailles which put an end to the First World War. The third and last attempt was the establishment of the United Nations Organization (UNO) or simply United Nations which was established in October 24, 1945, after the end of World War II with the intent to prevent another conflict like that. At its foundation, the UN had 51 member states and is now 193. The world where we live become an ungovernable chaos in which the great powers think only of power and wealth. While prevail this situation in the world, the war tends to proliferate in every corner of the Earth. All that has just been reported points in the direction that mankind must constitute a world government as a prerequisite for putting an end to wars and enforce world peace. With a world government, it will be possible to mediate conflicts, to fight against the war and end the bloodshed that has characterized the history of mankind throughout history.
PEACE BETWEEN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE REQUIRES EXTREMISTS OUT OF POWER AND RESTR...Faga1939
This article aims to demonstrate the need for Israeli and Palestinian extremists to be removed from power and for the UN to be restructured so that there is peace between Israel and Palestine. The construction of peace can only happen in the Palestine region if the Jewish people in Israel and throughout the world, as well as the Palestinians, politically repel the extremists who exercise power in their territories and establish governments that seek conciliation between the Jewish and Palestinian peoples. It can be said that there is only one solution to the conflict between Palestine and Israel: on the one hand, Israel needs to accept the constitution of the Palestinian State, seek a fair and negotiated solution regarding Jerusalem and the fate of Palestinian refugees and end the settlements Jews in the West Bank and, on the other, Palestinians need to recognize the State of Israel because neither Palestinians nor Israelis can impose their will on each other. Neither the right-wing extremists who govern Israel nor the Palestinian extremist groups will be able to impose their will by force of arms in Palestine. It is unlikely that the conflict between Palestinians and Jews will be resolved today because existing international institutions are not capable of building a negotiated solution to the conflict between these two peoples and between Israel, Iran and the Arab countries. This means that there is an urgent need to restructure the international system to resolve the conflict between Israel and Palestine, between Russia and Ukraine and all international conflicts that may occur in the future. The time has come for humanity to promote the construction of world peace and to exercise control over its destiny. To achieve these objectives, it is urgent to restructure the UN with a view to transforming it into a democratic government of the world that constitutes the only means of survival for the human species.
Abstract: This study examined United States and democratization in Iraq. The study was anchored on the
democratic peace theory as propounded by Immanuel Kant in 1795. The study adopted ex-post research design
while data was gotten from secondary source such as textbooks, journal articles, newspapers, magazines and
internet and the data generated was analyzed through content analysis. The findings of the study showed that The
United States efforts to adoptive democracy was widely implemented by a range of governmental and nongovernmental actors in Iraq, but it has yielded far less than what was promised and United States interest has had
negative effects on democratization in Iraq as the dissolution of the Iraqi army has resulted to security vacuum in
Iraq. Based on the findings the study recommended among others; Democracy should not be seen as a United
States import but rather an indigenous adaptation of general principles by Iraqi people.

10.1 Origins of the Cold War
World War II left most of Europe in shambles. Millions were homeless because the war destroyed thousands of homes, businesses, and public buildings. The European economy was similarly devastated, with much of the industrial infrastructure destroyed or heavily damaged. Great Britain was heavily in debt to the United States and was forced to borrow even more to begin reconstruction. The Soviet Union had suffered severe population losses, including nearly 8.7 million military deaths and 19 million noncombat deaths from starvation, disease, and German prison camps and mass shootings. The USSR also experienced a significant reduction in industrial and food production in the immediate postwar period.
Unable to quickly rebuild, European business elites, conservatives, and even liberals lost ground to Socialists and Communists, who supported the nationalization of banks, manufacturing, and utilities. Smaller European nations such as Greece and Italy also saw major advances by their own homegrown Communist parties. At the wa ...
The tension between the United States and North Korea has existed for years, but has intensified since Donald Trump took over the White House in January of this year. Donald Trump maintains more combative management than his predecessor, Barack Obama, and threatens to attack the Asian country if the Pyongyang regime continues with its military tests. Yesterday, Trump ordered the launch of a bomb against Afghanistan to reach terrorist targets of the Islamic State. The explosive had almost 11 tons of TNT and is considered the most powerful bomb, behind only nuclear. Experts saw in the attack an attempt by Washington to demonstrate to its enemies its military power.
AQUECIMENTO GLOBAL, MUDANÇA CLIMÁTICA GLOBAL E SEUS IMPACTOS SOBRE A SAÚDE HU...Fernando Alcoforado
GLOBAL WARMING, GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS IMPACTS ON HUMAN HEALTHFernando Alcoforado
This article aims to present the impacts of global warming and the consequent global climate change on human health and the solutions to avoid its harmful consequences against humanity. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to promote a profound transformation of current society, which has been extremely destructive of the planet's living conditions. Therefore, it is essential to build a sustainable society, replacing the current dominant economic model throughout the world with one that takes into account man integrated with the environment, with nature, that is, the model of sustainable development. The Paris Agreement was analyzed based on the COP 21 organized by the UN through which 195 countries and the European Union defined how humanity will fight global warming in the coming decades, as well as was analyzed literature related to global warming and climate change to extract the conclusions that point out how to replace the current development model with the sustainable development model.
This article has three objectives: 1) to demonstrate that there is a drastic change in the Earth's climate thanks to global warming, which is contributing to the occurrence of floods in cities that are increasingly catastrophic in their effects; 2) propose measures to combat global climate change; and 3) propose measures to prepare cities to face extreme weather events. Recently, floods have occurred that expose the vulnerability of cities in Europe and China to the most extreme weather. After the floods that killed people in Germany, Belgium and China, the message was reinforced that significant changes are needed to prepare cities to face similar events in the future. Governments need to admit that the infrastructure they built in the past for cities, even in more recent times, is vulnerable to these extreme weather events. To deal with the floods that will become more and more frequent, governments need to act simultaneously in three directions: the first is to combat global climate change; the second is to prepare cities to face extreme weather events and the third is to implement a sustainable society at the national and global levels.
CIVILIZAÇÃO OU BARBÁRIE SÃO AS ESCOLHAS DO POVO BRASILEIRO NAS ELEIÇÕES DE 2022 Fernando Alcoforado

CIVILIZATION OR BARBARISM ARE THE CHOICES OF THE BRAZILIAN PEOPLE IN THE 2022...Fernando Alcoforado
This article aims to demonstrate that the 2022 elections are decisive for the future of Brazil because the Brazilian people will have to decide between the values of civilization and democracy or those of barbarism and fascism defended by candidates for the Presidency of the Republic. It should be noted that Civilization is considered the most advanced stage that a human society can reach from a political, economic, social, cultural, scientific and technological point of view. The opposite of civilization is Barbarism, which is the condition of what is savage, cruel, inhuman and coarse, that is, who or what is considered barbaric that attacks political, economic, social, cultural, scientific and technological progress. Barbarism has always been characterized throughout human history by groups that use force and cruelty to achieve their goals.

O TARIFAÇO DE ENERGIA É SINAL DE INCOMPETÊNCIA DO GOVERNO FEDERAL NO PLANEJAM...Fernando Alcoforado
É bastante evidente o descalabro do setor elétrico do Brasil.

In a May 9, 2024 paper, Juri Opitz from the University of Zurich, along with Shira Wein and Nathan Schneider form Georgetown University, discussed the importance of linguistic expertise in natural language processing (NLP) in an era dominated by large language models (LLMs).
The authors explained that while machine translation (MT) previously relied heavily on linguists, the landscape has shifted. “Linguistics is no longer front and center in the way we build NLP systems,” they said. With the emergence of LLMs, which can generate fluent text without the need for specialized modules to handle grammar or semantic coherence, the need for linguistic expertise in NLP is being questioned.

The focuses of war in the world and its perspectives
1. 1
THE FOCUSES OF WAR IN THE WORLD AND THEIR PERSPECTIVE
Fernando Alcoforado *
There are several countries that may be foci of wars in the world, including Syria,
Palestine, Israel, Iran and North Korea. In the contemporary era, international
geopolitical chess points to the existence of three major players: the United States,
China and Russia. From the confrontation between these three great military powers in
the future, alternatives scenarios to the current may arise that are characterized by the
loss of US hegemony on the world stage since the end of the bipolar world confronting
the United States and the Soviet Union.
Syria is today the epicenter of a battle that brings together various actors: the great
enemy regional powers (Iran and Saudi Arabia) and historical allies (the USA allied of
Saudi Arabia and Iran allied of Russia). The Syrian conflict began when President
Bachar Al Assad launched an offensive against the rebels of the Syrian Free Army.
Meanwhile, other actors entered the scene inside the rebel movement, followed by
extremists from the Islamic State (ISIS) and the Kurds. It has become clear that the
geopolitical interests of the parties involved are very different.
It can be said that Syria has a fundamental strategic importance because it is the last
stone of geopolitical chess in the region whose fall of Bachar Al Assad would lead to
the siege of Iran, enabling the Western allies to reach the territory of this country by the
Mediterranean Sea and Iraq which would guarantee passage for Allied troops to reach
Iranian borders. Syria, which borders Israel, has always been important in the Middle
East and, especially today, is part of a very delicate geopolitical chess because it is an
allied country of Iran, along with those who sponsor extremely aggressive terrorist
movements such as Hezbollah and Hamas in opposition to the State of Israel.
The recent US-led attack by US President Donald Trump on a Bashar al-Assad air base
in Syria has widened the United States-Russia deadlock over the civil war, with both
sides promising the use of force. The tone adopted by the two nuclear powers was a
threat, raising the tension between Washington and Moscow at a level similar to that
experienced in the Cold War. The Kremlin called the US action "aggression" and
"violation of international law" and said it would suspend the channel of communication
with United States forces used to prevent the two countries from attacking Syria, since
both operate in the country.
Palestine and Israel are foci of a new world war because they have been in conflict since
the end of World War I when Zionist Jews expressed the desire to create a modern state
in their ancestral land and began to create settlements in the region, at the time still
controlled by the Ottoman Empire. Both Israelis and Palestinians claim their share of
the land based on history, religion and culture. The great victorious powers of World
War I decided the destiny of Palestine in favor of the Jews, being used for this of the
League of Nations, thus configuring the arrogance that have always characterized the
international relations throughout history. The Palestinians saw in the patronage they
gave first to Britain and then the League of Nations to the Zionist project of creating the
Jewish national home in Palestine denial of their right to independence.

Since then, there has been much violence and controversy surrounding the issue, as well
as several processes of peace negotiations during the twentieth century. The State of
Israel was founded in 1948 after the UN-led Sharing Plan, which divided the region,
then under British rule, into Arab and Jewish states. After World War II, there were
several conflicts between Palestinians and neighboring Arab nations that did not agree
with the territorial division of the former Palestinian lands. Since the establishment of
the State of Israel, the conflict that has set it against the Palestinians has been the
epicenter of a conflict between Israel and all Arab countries, with strong repercussions
worldwide. There were wars with Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, but without the
tension in the region diminishing. During this period, Israel occupied the Sinai
Peninsula, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, the Golan Heights and southern Lebanon.
The State of Israel has sovereignty over much of the territory that was conquered after
the defeat of the Arabs in two wars - the Arab-Israeli conflict of 1948 and the 1967 Six-
Day War.
In 1993, the Oslo Agreement was signed, which initiated the peace process with the
Palestinians. Under the agreement, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank would become a
territory administered by the Palestinian National Authority (PNA). In 2005, Israel
withdrew its Jewish troops and settlers - under their protests - from the Gaza Strip.
Despite the devolution of the Gaza Strip and parts of the West Bank to Palestinian
control, a final agreement still needed to be established. To do so, it would be necessary
to resolve the main points of contention, which are the status of Jerusalem, the fate of
Palestinian refugees and Jewish settlements. It is unlikely that the conflict between
Palestinians and Jews will be resolved today because existing international institutions
are not able to build a negotiated way out of the conflict between these two peoples and
between Israel and the Arab countries.
Iran is, also, focus of a new world war when it decided a few years ago to possess
nuclear weapons and become a regional power - rooted in both Persian nationalism and
Shi'a Islam - to end its fears of being a victim of American aggression and or Israeli.
The Iranian government has convinced itself that only the true possession of weapons of
mass destruction can free it from an external attack. Forty years ago, restrictions were
imposed by the major powers that developed nuclear weapons to other non-nuclear
countries, including Iran, limiting the use of nuclear energy to peaceful purposes, and
preventing it from being used for military purposes. This was done through the 1968
Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which legitimized the possession of nuclear
weapons by the United States, the Soviet Union, Britain, France and China and tried to
prevent other nations from developing them by restricting their access to nuclear
technology.
Today, in addition to the United States, Russia, China, the United Kingdom and France,
they are in possession of nuclear weapons India, North Korea, Pakistan and Israel. Israel
does not confirm or deny the reports of experts who accuse it of possessing a large
nuclear arsenal estimated at more than 100 warheads, being the only one with such
weapons in the Middle East. In turn, Iran and Syria are accused of having secret nuclear
weapons programs. To date, 187 countries have ratified the NPT and none have
withdrawn from the pact except North Korea, which did so in 2003. A number of
countries have criticized the perpetual nuclear monopoly imposed by the treaty on
legitimizing existing weapons and does not admit that other countries have them. Iran is
a signatory to the NPT that prevents the country from developing nuclear weapons, but

grants the right to use and develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. The
United States considers that Iran's nuclear energy program aims at producing nuclear
weapons and is not for peaceful purposes as the Iranian government claims.
North Korea may be the focus of a new world war because the tension between the
United States and North Korea has existed for many years, but has intensified since
Donald Trump took over the White House in January of this year. Donald Trump
threatens to attack the Asian country if the Pyongyang regime continues with its
military tests. It should be noted that among 1950 and 1953 occurred the Korean War
that was part of the geopolitical dispute between the United States and the Soviet Union.
It was the first armed conflict of the Cold War, causing worldwide apprehension
because there was an imminent risk of a nuclear war due to the direct involvement
between the two military superpowers of the time. It should be noted that after the end
of World War II with the surrender and withdrawal of Japanese troops, the north
became an ally of the Soviets and Chinese, while the south came under US influence.
The United States entered the war alongside South Korea, while China (allied with the
Soviet Union) sent troops into the conflict zone to support North Korea. In 1953, South
Korea, backed by the United States and other capitalist countries, had several military
victories. In 1953, the US government threatened to use nuclear weapons against North
Korea and China if the war was not ended with the North Korean surrender. On March
28, 1953, North Korea and China accepted the United Nations peace proposal. With the
end of the war, the two Koreas remained divided and the geopolitical conflicts
continued, although they were no longer for the military area. North Korea currently
remains with the communist regime, while South Korea remains in the capitalist
system. At the present time, the United States and North Korea are one step from the
war whose conflict can begin at any moment
The time has come for humankind to provide itself with the most urgently possible tools
necessary to build a world of peace. The UN that was founded after World War II has
been inoperative throughout its history. She has not been successful in building a world
of peace. There is an urgent need to restructure the UN so that it can exercise global
governance that will enable it to mediate international conflicts and ensure world peace.
World governance to be exercised by the UN would aim at defending the planet's
general interests, ensuring that each nation state respects the rights of every citizen of
the world and seeks to prevent the spread of global systemic risks. It would avoid the
empire of one and the anarchy of all.
