The Five Points Initiative in Grant County, New Mexico aims to restore and revitalize five historic buildings across Silver City, Arenas Valley, Santa Clara, Bayard, and Hurley to elevate local culture and history and unite residents around common goals. The initiative is led by Southwest New Mexico ACT in collaboration with local governments, non-profits, and state/federal agencies. The five buildings include the Historic Water Works building in Silver City, a schoolhouse in Arenas Valley, the Bradley Hotel in Santa Clara, the Union Hall in Bayard, and the Hurley Train Station, which will be transformed into a visitor center.
