The Primary sector provide us with raw
materials from nature.

-Mining

FARMING can be:
-Arable farming -Livestock farming
Fruits and vegetables Meat, milk, eggs, leather…

FISHING
Spain has a lot of coast kilometres, and a huge fleet of fishing
boats, so our country has one of the largest fishing sectors in
Europe.
Coastal fishing boats
catch tunas, sardines,
mussels…
Deep-sea fishing boats
catch cod and hake.
Primary Sector
MINING can be:
-Underground
mines
-Open cast mines
and quarries
Secondary Sector
The Secondary sector use raw materials and
provide us with manufactured products.
Energy Industry
Use wind to produce electricity
Goods like food, clothing, furniture,
electronics, medicine and cosmetics.

COMMUNICATION: send and receive information
Interpersonal communication. Send information
to one person at a time: telephones and letters.
Mass communication. Send information to many
people at once: newspapers, TV, radio and
computers (internet and email)
