THE DIGITAL DIVIDE
BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN AGE AND TECHNOLOGY
The Digital Divide
• The gap between aging employees and rapidly advancing technology has
become a hot button topic in recent years.
• If employees are not regularly trained and briefed on new technology they
will quickly lose touch.
• Once someone gets behind it becomes exponentially more difficult to catch
up with each period of time that passes.
What Next?
• There are many routes that can be taken from this point.
• One of the most viable options is to implement regular training sessions that
showcase new technology and allow for open discussion which can lead to
very helpful questions.
How to React
• Being faced with this digital divide can bring up some interesting
situations.
• Some instances may become frustrating for those who are regularly
using technology.
• In these type of situations it is important to remain patient as we set an
example on how to react as Christians.
