Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam had a visionary career journey from being a student to becoming the Missile Man of India and later the President of India. As a student, he developed hard work and perseverance. As a scientist in DRDO and ISRO, he showed leadership, creativity and team management skills in developing key defense missiles like Agni. He was honored with India's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna. As President from 2002 to 2007, he envisioned an developed India and focused on rural areas and youth.
