live and grow.

 INTERACTION
 REPRODUCTION
NUTRITION
 Animals need energy in order to carry out their life
function.
 Energy comes from FOOD.
 FOOD CONTAINS NUTRIENTS.
NUTRITION
 Animals can be:
 Herbivores: An animal only eats plants
 Carnivores: An animal only eats meat.
 Omnivores: An animal can eat plants and meat.
INTERACTION
 Humans beings and other animals INTERACT with
the world around them. This ability is known as
INTERACTION.
REPRODUCTION
 Diferents types of reproduction.
 Oviparous.
 Viviparous
ACTIVITIES.
 SPEAKING.
 Tell your partner if you are a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore.
Explain your answer.

ACTIVITIES.
 Classify the animals:
Cow, dogs, bear, lions, snakes, tigers, horses, cats,
elephants.

An elephant is a herbivore.
It is also viviparous because it is born from its mother´s womb.

  • 2. VITAL FUNCTIONS  All living things have three vital functions in order to live and grow.  NUTRITION  INTERACTION  REPRODUCTION
  • 3. NUTRITION  Animals need energy in order to carry out their life function.  Energy comes from FOOD.  FOOD CONTAINS NUTRIENTS.
  • 4. NUTRITION  Animals can be:  Herbivores: An animal only eats plants  Carnivores: An animal only eats meat.  Omnivores: An animal can eat plants and meat.
  • 5. INTERACTION  Humans beings and other animals INTERACT with the world around them. This ability is known as INTERACTION.
  • 6. REPRODUCTION  Diferents types of reproduction.  Oviparous.  Viviparous
  • 7. ACTIVITIES.  SPEAKING.  Tell your partner if you are a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore. Explain your answer.  Think a pet, tell your partner if you are a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore. Explain your answer.
