I have learned over the years that a great trait to have as a leader is humility. As a leader of employees, never assume you are smarter than everyone. The other item to remember, is that your employees have a better idea of what really goes on in the office or the production floor. Be willing to admit when you are wrong, but also be strong enough to know when you are right. This is a presentation I put together for my peers during my tenure with Georgia Pacific. The ideas were taken from the science of success, the dictionary and conversations with my employees and personal experiences.

How to successfully work in teams with people you hate?Ron McFarland
It always bothered me that some people talk too much but don't have very good information. Others that are very knowledgable just sit there quiet. Some are too detail that nothing gets done, some too vague. Some very decisive, others never decide. To get all these different people to work better together (as well as me working with them), I studied personality types and prepared this presentation for vehicle sales seminars I was giving around the world, as I learned the departments in the dealerships didn't work well together right when I was promoting that sales people should be getting referrals from other departments.
I gave seminars on it in the dealerships and not only did it help teambuilding, it helped me work better with different types of people. I hope it will help you as well.

For venues looking to market conference and events space, most would agree that a large focus for marketing is about generating sales opportunities so that the venue businesses can grow. Naturally there is an expectation of a return on investment, a direct impact on your revenue stream as a result of any venue marketing activity undertaken. But there is of course a longer-term view of what marketing delivers, sometimes less of a priority for venue marketing teams under pressure to deliver a quick return for sales.

Why Yoga is more than just a Physical Exercise?Anand Damani
The Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras (Aphorisms) are 196 in number. These Sutras are a record of varied occult practices and knowledge dating back to the Vedic Period (1700-500 CE). It is believed that Yoga existed even before the beginning of the Vedic age. But it developed into a system later.
Yoga was propagated and taught by rishis and acharyas(sages) in the ancient Indian subcontinent for centuries. Yoga was popular in the whole Indian region. Spanning from Gandhar (What is “Kandahar” in Afghanistan today) to the north west and Myanmar in the east.
Patanjali developed and compiled the early knowledge of Yoga into systematic sets of various Aphorisms or Sutras. These sutras are known as Yoga sutras of Patanjali. Patanjali was a master and ascetic in the ancient Indian subcontinent. It has been established that Patanjali put the Yoga as a system on record in the 4th century. Patanjali compiled Yoga into a philosophical system in a systematic manner. It includes both the theoretical and practical knowledge about Yoga.

People high in openness are more likely to experience the world differently to the average person as a result of their "breadth, depth, and permeability of consciousness, and … [their] … recurrent need to enlarge and examine experience," according to the Journal of Research in Personality.
People who find it hard to consider other alternative realities in life and work take longer to make a significant improvement in life.
In his book "Principles: Life and Work," Ray Dalio, a self-made billionaire, argues that "Closed-minded people don't want their ideas challenged. They are typically frustrated that they can't get the other person to agree with them instead of curious as to why the other person disagrees."
Dalio encourages us to embrace different perspectives not only at work but in all areas of our lives. He recommends we develop the art of thoughtful disagreement.

on each other in important ways. Personalized approaches result in faster, more
fun, and more effective learning because they focus on your unique needs,
interests, and abilities.

20. How to get started with Happiness?
Once you know your happiness strengths and weaknesses, choose just one skill
that you believe is a weakness for you. It may be obvious to you right away.
If it’s not, think about whether you tend to have more difficulty with thoughts
verses behaviors, or self- vs. other-related skills.
Or, if you tend to be poor at all the skills focusing on positive thoughts about
the self, start by focusing on one of those.
21. Don’t focus on many!
It’s important not to try to develop too many skills at once.
If you focus on too many things, you’ll have a difficult time making progress on
any of them. But if you feel up to it, you can choose one more skill that you think
you would really enjoy practicing.
Maybe you have been meaning to prioritize positive activities, and you would
really love to spend more time doing fun things.
22. Welcome to the world of Bliss
Once you have decided which skills to work on, think about
how and when you will practice.
Plan to practice building these skills at least a little bit
every week for a few months—and see if you get a happiness boost.
