The Texas STaR Chart is a tool used by the Texas Education Agency to assess and plan school technology readiness across four key areas: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation and Development, Leadership/Administration/Instructional Support, and Infrastructure for Technology. It aims for all students to be technology literate by 8th grade. For Richardson Heights Elementary, the 2009-10 results found their Teaching and Learning and Educator Preparation and Development areas at the "Developing Tech" level, while Leadership/Administration/Instructional Support and Infrastructure for Technology were at the "Advanced Tech" level, matching the overall state of Texas results.
