Kenlee Walters is majoring in Early Childhood Education and plans to become a kindergarten teacher after graduating. She votes in elections to have a say in what happens and believes every vote matters. She has learned a lot about the roles and responsibilities of Texas government officials this semester, such as the governor having more power than she realized. One of the biggest political issues is what to do about the death penalty, and she thinks it should be abolished because it goes against the 10 Commandments prohibition of murder.
