So here we have our brand new app, but how about its deployment, autoscale, high availability and so on? We're gonna take a journey from source code posted to GitHub to deployment in Google Cloud Platform which will be capable to take bazillion of requests. Will make our own docker image and see how it is looks like in practice. Will start our first kubernetes cluster and deploy our app. Will have a sneak peak into autoscaler and high availability

Terraform, Cloud Formation and similar tools are great for provisioning new infrastructure. Kubernetes provides the next step by continuously monitoring the resources it creates and making sure they are working correctly. However standard Kubernetes resources like Deployment and StatefulSet only get you as far. Many application require special treatment during their lifecycle, which most of the time is still left to human operators. Kubernetes Operators offer a new way to fully automate management of any application. I will explain what are Operators, and show how to create one. Live demo included!

Contrary to most presentations and blog posts there is more to AWS than S3. In a quest to create more re-usable code we have created WeirdAAL (AWS Attack Library). Offensively, WeirdAAL helps you answer the “what can I do with this AWS key”? We aim to answer that question, in a blackbox way, via recon modules and modules specifically dedicated to attack each of the interesting AWS service offerings while avoiding detection. It also provides multiple functions sorted by AWS service that you can use for both offensive and defensive checks.

インターネット広告市場の拡大に伴い、ヤフーの広告レポート作成数は年間約2倍のペースで増え続けています。処理サーバを増やすことで大量のレポートを作成することはできますが、既存のRDBによるジョブ管理システムでは並列数を上げていくと、RDBが高負荷となり耐えきれなくなるという問題に直面します。この問題を解決するためにSpring Cloud Streamを導入した経緯を他の課題の変遷も交えてお話します。

Serverless technologies like AWS Lambda has drastically simplified the task of building reactive systems - drop a file into S3 and a Lambda function would be triggered to process it, push an event into a Kinesis stream and magically it'll be processed by a Lambda function in real-time, you can even use Lambda to automate the process of auditing and securing your account by automatically reacting to rule violations to your security policy. Join us in this talk to see some architectural design patterns that have emerged with Lambda, and how to pick the right event source based on the tradeoffs you want.
