Committee projections show rising library use and a need for more public computers and a meeting room. The proposed expansion would cost $16.6 million total but the town's cost would be $10 million after a $6.6 million state grant. The committee argued this is the best option financially and for the community's library needs.

Picture Perfect presentation - MA Library Snapshot Day 2011
Library Snapshot Day collected data from 221 participating libraries in Massachusetts. The data showed that on the day surveyed, the libraries had a total circulation of 95,474 items, assisted with 8,454 reference questions, handled 4,429 interlibrary loan requests, welcomed 53,821 visitors, hosted 6,527 attendees at programs, gave 617 classes/tours, and had 874 meetings take place in their spaces. The majority of activity occurred at public libraries.

This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications.
