I can recognise the place value of each digit in a number with
up to 3 digits. I can compare and order numbers up to 1000 and
also read and write these numbers in numerals and words.
I can also solve problems involving these ideas.

1. Write these numbers using digits :-
a forty nine b six hundred and seventy five.
2. Write these numbers in words :-
a 73 b 301 c 759 d 992.
3. Write the number that comes :-
a just after 129 b just before 700 c ten after 840
d 10 before 701 e 100 after 430 f 100 before 550.
4. Rewrite these numbers in order. Start with the smallest one :-
239, 198, 302, 351, 189, 320.
5. To what numbers do the arrows point ?
6. Raffle tickets are sold in strips of 5.
Ben bought the strip with the numbers
511, 512, 513, 514 and 515.
Lucy bought the strip just before the one Ben bought.
What were the five numbers on Lucy’s strip of tickets ?
7. This cycle route along a cycle path
is marked off every kilometre.

b How far has Sid cycled ?
