Technology can improve education by enhancing how students learn in the classroom. Incorporating technology stimulates students and engages them through their familiarity with devices like computers, phones, and tablets. Some benefits of technology in the classroom include deeper student understanding through extra practice, increased personal productivity outside of class, and lower costs compared to expensive textbooks. Technology can change student and teacher roles, increase motivation and self-esteem, and help students accomplish more complex tasks through collaboration and use of outside resources. While possible to teach without technology, it makes a significant difference in learning and engages students in a fun way.

2. What exactly is Technology?
It so happens to be the use of scientific
knowledge for improving the way we do
things...
3. Technology and Learning
If we, as Teachers, would like to improve
the way kids learn in the classroom, then
it is very essential that we begin to
incorporate various ways of learning,
including the use of Technology
4. Technology and Learning (cont.)
Not only is it beneficial for kids to engage
in activities that incorporate
Technology, but students find it very
stimulating because of their day-to-day
use and familiarity of certain technology
devices, such as computers, cell phones,
applications, iPads, etc.
5. What are some Benefits of
Technology in the Classroom?
Depth of Understanding- When students
have access to the same technology tools
utilized in the classroom, they tend to
spend more time practicing the material,
thereby giving the student more depth
of understanding the material.
6. Benefits of Technology...(cont.)
Personal Productivity- With access to
devices,such as a personal computer, a
student can get more work done outside
of the classroom.
7. Benefits...(cont.)
Lower Cost- Text books are very expensive these
days and when you have innovative software
applications that can serve the purpose of
textbooks, that alleviates a lot of costs for the
student and the teacher.
8. Effects of Technology in the
Classroom
Change in student and
More collaboration with
teacher roles peers
Increased motivation
Increased use of outside
and self esteem resources
Technical skills
Improved design skills
Accomplishment of more
Attention to audience
complex tasks
9. Imagine the Classroom without
Technology
It's very possible to teach without
Technology, but the truth of the matter is
that Technology makes a huge difference when
it comes to learning, activities, and
accomplishing tasks.
10. Technology is Fun!!!
Technology is essential
It motivates student learning
It gives, both student and teacher, the
opportunity to learn more
And finally, it's cost effective!!!!
