Technology played an important role in the creation of the document's media products. Google was used for initial research on music videos, digipaks, and magazine ads to plan the products. Excel helped analyze survey results through graphs. Prezi aided in researching and analyzing other media. A Panasonic camera was used to film a first draft music video, and a Canon HD camera provided better quality for the final video. Fireworks assisted with making a magazine ad and digipak. Adobe Premiere Pro allowed editing footage and constructing the music video. Blogger displayed the entire coursework project online.

1. Technology was a very important aspect when it came down to my
media products. Technology was used in every part of the creation
for my media products and is what has therefore allowed me to
create my final products to the standard that they are.

2. Google has been very useful when it has come down to the reserach at the
beginning, It allowed me to carry out the research i need to then go on to planning
my own media products. Google was useful when it came down to finding out about
the history of music video’s, analysing other music videos, digipaks and magazine
adverts.

3. Excel also helped me
through the questionnaire
stage of my research, as
once creating the
questionnaire and receiving
the results this is where I
placed my results in order
to make graphs which
would then allow me to
understand and weigh up
the answers.

4. Prezi has been useful throughout the research stage of my media
products, it has allowed my to analyse other media products as well
as put together the research that I may find from these products and
the history of music video’s

5. The Panasonic camera came to good use for
me throughout the filming for the first draft
of my music video, all of my filming was
done on this camera, and it proved to be
very reliable
After noticing the lack of quality from the
Panasonic camera and looking for ways to
improve for my final music video, I then went
on to use the Cannon HD camera, which
proved to be just as good coming with two
different batteries ensuring that there were
no problems and offering great quality

6. Fireworks has been very helpful throughout the construction
of my media products, especially throughout the ancillary
tasks where it was used to make both my magazine advert
and my digipak.

7. Adobe premier pro has been very useful
when it came down to the editing of my
music video. One filmed i put all of my
footage and imported it onto this
programme where by it allowed me to
then continue to edit and construct my
music video. This included changing the
speed of some of the footage, cutting
parts out, ensuring it all flowed properly
and matched the music and edits were
done effectively.

8. Blogger is where all my research,
planning, construction and
products are shown. This is the site
by which my coursework is shown
and able to be viewed.
