This document describes a proposed intelligent shopping cart system that uses RFID tags, a Raspberry Pi, and a web application to streamline the shopping experience. The system automatically scans RFID tags attached to items as they are added to the cart and updates the total cost on an LCD display. When shopping is complete, the total bill is communicated to a mobile phone via the web application, allowing the customer to pay online or with cash. This system aims to reduce checkout wait times and provide a better overall shopping experience for customers.
The document describes a proposed smart shopping cart system that aims to minimize shopping time. It uses infrared sensors for location tracking, RFID tags for product identification, and Zigbee for wireless communication. The system allows for automatic scanning and billing of items to reduce time spent in lines. A literature review shows related works also used RFID and Zigbee to identify products and transmit data wirelessly. Block diagrams and flowcharts in Chapter 2 will illustrate the system design and working of the smart shopping cart.

Smart Mall Shopping Submitted to International Journal of Scientific and Rese...ijtsrd
A product having societal acceptance is the one that helps comfort, provides efficiency and convenience in everyday life. Big shopping complexes are being developed in metro cities. Huge rush can be seen at these malls on holidays and weekends. People wanting to purchase products have to carry them in the trolleys. After finishing choosing the products, one proceeds to go to billing counter. At billing counter bill is generated by scanning the products manually using a hand assisted barcode scanner. This takes a lot of time resulting in a long queue for billing. In this project, we discuss a system which is being developed to aid a person in day to day shopping in terms of reduced time spent while purchasing. The main objective of proposed system is to provide a technology oriented approach which is pocket friendly, scalable and rugged system for assisting shopping. Key Words Intelligent Shopping, Shop ping Cart, User Interface, Server Communication, Automatic billing. Oracle Commerce Using ATG & Endeca - Do It Yourself SeriesKeyur Shah
After 2 years of marathon run I was able to complete the self-published book on Oracle Commerce (ATG & Endeca) which covers both the commerce product installation, configuration, concepts, architecture, and some of the open source tools that you can use such as Vagrant, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Splunk.
This book is absolutely free as my contribution to the industry, colleagues, and the commerce community.
The motivation behind this book is “no books written on the subject” and “the goal to make the journey of beginners as painless as possible”.
Hope this will be useful to not just the beginners but also those who embrace open source tools and technologies along with branded products and services.

The goal is to simplify the shopping experience by aggregating product information from different malls in one place.

2018 SITEC EC CLASS - Introduction to E-Commerce 103: Understanding O2O by Ad...sitecmy
Online-to-Offline Commerce is a business strategy that draws potential customers from online channels to make purchases in physical stores. Online-to-offline commerce, or O2O, identifies customers in the online space, such as through emails and internet advertising, and then uses a variety of tools and approaches to entice the customer to leave the online space. This type of strategy incorporates techniques used in online marketing with those used in brick-and-mortar marketing. O2O is related to (but not the same as) the concepts of "clicks-to-bricks" or "click and mortar."
Seamless Retail Technology – Unleashing an Integrated Shopping Experience accenture
This document discusses how retailers can deliver seamless experiences for customers by transforming their technology and operations. It outlines four directives for retailers to follow: 1) bring their core systems up to speed, 2) establish an infrastructure that allows for quicker innovation, 3) transform their data to provide a seamless customer experience, and 4) organize their operations to deliver seamless capabilities across channels. The document provides recommendations under each directive, such as assessing legacy systems, adopting cloud computing, ensuring data accuracy, and breaking down silos between departments. The overall message is that retailers must align technology, data, and organizational structures to keep up with constantly changing customer expectations.
In developing countries like India, the plan of subsidising basic domestic commodities for poor families is an important part of meeting people’s basic needs. When a self-contained system for ration distribution is available, it benefits cardholders in a variety of ways. The E-Ration is the most convenient way to purchase ration items. Its goal is to offer ration products on the internet. E-Ration Shop is an automated system that distributes the exact amount of ration to cardholders based on the type of ration card and the number of family members, as well as keeping track of transactions in a database. As a result, this approach will reduce dealer communication, manual calculations, and time spent in stores. The cardholder can access the rationing system at any time during the month, with no need for human participation in the ration shop. Each transaction is automatically logged into the database by this system. Customers who purchase ration items online will have their information saved in an internet database, which will be viewable to higher-ranking officers as well as the shop owner. A fair price store (FPS) or ration shop is another name for a public distribution shop. It is a part of the Government of India's public distribution system, which provides subsidised rations to the needy in India. The Civil Supplies Corporation is a key government agency that oversees and distributes basic supplies to all inhabitants. Various products like as rice, sugar, and kerosene are supplied utilising a traditional ration store method in that system. Some of the drawbacks of the traditional ration shop system include: The user is unable to obtain an accurate quantity of material due to laborious measurements in the traditional technique. Because it is a direct process done by online ration shop keeper, this application uploads the data immediately to the server, confirming the data. Because it is a direct process done by online ration shop keeper, they cannot do anything in these transactions as they do in paper work.

How do you combine the OpenUI5/SAPUI5 programming model with a design system that makes its controls available as Web Components? Since OpenUI5/SAPUI5 1.120, the framework supports the integration of any Web Components. This makes it possible, for example, to natively embed own Web Components of your design system which are created with Stencil. The integration embeds the Web Components in a way that they can be used naturally in XMLViews, like with standard UI5 controls, and can be bound with data binding. Learn how you can also make use of the Web Components base class in OpenUI5/SAPUI5 to also integrate your Web Components and get inspired by the solution to generate a custom UI5 library providing the Web Components control wrappers for the native ones.
