Adult learning is a process of
adults gaining knowledge, skills,
and competences.
Characteristics of the adult learners
They decide to participate
in a learning process for
specific reasons and
because specific needs
They have a broad and
diverse range of
experience, knowledge
plurality and shaped
perceptions in which they
invest emotionally.
They possess their own
preferred learning
styles.
They have the tendency to
participate in learning
activities in an active way.
