LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network with more than 546 million
users in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. LinkedIn allows users
(workers and employers) to create profiles and "connections" to each other in an
online social network which may represent real-world professional relationships.
Users can invite anyone (whether a site user or not) to become a connection.
LinkedIn is now owned by Microsoft (2016) and Lynda.com was purchased by
LinkedIn in 2015.
