Sam Howard used various software and tech tools to produce a music video and ancillary products. A Mac and PC were used along with Photoshop, Final Cut Express, and Sony Vegas Pro 12 for editing videos. Photoshop was used to create ancillary products. PowerPoint was used for research and planning presentations. Microsoft Forms created surveys. YouTube hosted video uploads and Slideshare uploaded PowerPoints for online viewing. Prezi also displayed research and planning with animations.

2. Computer
MAC – For parts of the production of my music video and
ancillaries I have used an Apple Mac. This computer was
helpful to use as it was in school and possessed programs
such as Photoshop and Final Cut which helped me in my
product stages.
PC – I also used my home computer for the production of
my tasks, This is as I was able to work on my projects at
home as I also possessed Photoshop as well as Sony
Vegas (a video editing software in which was more
professional as opposed to Final Cut as well as being a
software in which I was more familiar with using.

3. Sony Vegas Pro 12
I used this program to edit large portions of my music video
This is as it was a software in which I was very familiar with
and one that possesses the variety of tool needed to produce
an effective music video. Using this program enabled me to
add elements of video masking within my music video as well
as effectively using chroma keying to green screen
silhouettes onto my music video.

4. Final Cut Express
As well as Sony Vegas I also used video editing software
Final Cut Express. I used this video editing software to grasp
a basic understanding of the structure and contents of my
music video as well as creating my very first draft using it (by
placing the correct clips into the correct sequence).

5. Adobe Photoshop
I used Adobe Photoshop to create my ancillary products.
This program was ideal for this process as it is a program in
which I am very familiar with and effective at using. This
program offered me a wide variety of tools such as text
wrapping, filters and much more which made my ancillaries
turn out how they have and I am happy with the results.

6. Microsoft
PowerPoint – I have used PowerPoint throughout my
research and planning to present different stage of my
research and of my planning. This is an effective way for
me to present my work as it offers interesting tools such
as transitions and themes to make what may be boring
plain text a bit more entertaining to read.
Forms – I used Microsoft Forms in order to crate surveys
for my peers etc. to fill out. This was an effective and easy
way of reaching out to my peers to obtain feedback and
improvements for my work.

7. YouTube
I have used YouTube to upload and display the different
stages of my music video. Using YouTube made it easy to do
this as my videos were uploaded at fast speeds and can
easily be accessed by views of my blog by either using a
hyperlink or just viewing the video in which is embedded
within my blog posts.

8. Slideshare
I have used slide share to upload any PowerPoint's I have
made to the internet so that visitors of my blog can view
them online instead of downloading the files. This means that
it is easier for both me and the visitors of my blog for viewing
my planning and research.

9. Prezi
I have used Prezi to display some elements of my research
and planning. Prezi is an effective way at doing this as it
offers a range of animations, movements and themes to add
a variation to my research and planning. This assist me in
presenting my research and planning effectively.
