• Teaser posters usually show the main character or an
image instead of showing the more important
scenes. They usually show the release date,
sometimes month only. Sometimes they will just
show the film number if it is a sequel or a threequel.

• Official posters are used to advertise the film, it
shows us the people who took part, they use certain
colours to tell us what the film is about, it has a key
image which represents the films genre and the
posters background represents the setting to tell us
where the film takes place.
