We use will to express a decision made
at the moment of speaking:
A: It’s John’s birthday today.

Affirmative
- I’ll help you put up some decorations.
- OK. I’ll get it.
Negative
A: Mike’s going to come to the party tomorrow.
B: Really? Then I won’t go.

Question
A: Will you help me?
B: Yes, I will.
* We use I think I’ll … and I’ll probably …
when we are not 100% certain:
I think I’ll play tennis tomorrow.
I’ll probably see my friends, too.
Conversation
Jenny: Hi, Chet. What’s up? What are you doing?
Chet: I’m making a ghost mask. Tomorrow is Phi
Ta Khon. It’s our ghost festival.
Jenny: Oh, OK. So, are you going to wear that?
Chet: Sure. Here, I’ll try it on … What do you
think?
Jenny: Argh! It’s, er, very scary.
Chet: Good! I’m going to wear it all day during the
festival. What time are you going to be
there?
Jenny: Well, um, I’m not sure. I’ll probably go
shopping instead.
Chet: That’s too bad. There’s going to be a lot of
music and a dance competition …
everyone’s going to be there.
Jenny: Sounds like fun … OK, I’ll come! Do you
want me to help with anything?
Chet: Yes, please. Could you help me paint my
mask?
Jenny: No problem. And then I’ll pick up all this
garbage. This place is a mess.
Chet: Hey, that’s not garbage. That’s my costume
for tomorrow.

3. Prepare your show for 5 minutes.
