The educator is guided by Chickering's seven principles of good teaching which include encouraging contact between students and faculty, developing reciprocity and cooperation among students, encouraging active learning, giving prompt feedback, emphasizing time on task, communicating high expectations, and respecting diverse talents and ways of learning. They also utilize the "I do, We do, You do" strategy of gradual responsibility to allow for further knowledge acquisition. Their goals are individual student learning, learning from other students, student agency in education, and student success. They evaluate students' skills and competencies through personalized feedback in discussions, quizzes, and other class activities. Their passion is helping students learn to better their careers, personal growth, and lives
