Olivia Singleton is proposing a photography project titled "Life and Emotions" for her BTEC Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production. The project will explore both creative (fiction) and personal (non-fiction) genres through portraits. The target audience is mainly girls, young adults/teens with mental illnesses, and lovers of creativity. To meet the needs of these audiences, the portraits will show women in positions of power and dealing with abuse or mental illness in a way that promotes understanding. The production techniques will involve retouching portraits in Lightroom and Photoshop to make some images more realistic and others more surreal.
